The interior has a modern cozy feel with glowing lighting rather than harsh overhead lighting. The cafe has a glass atrium that is filled with lights and plants. They have a selfie wall. The market has a small selection in many departments but the main focus is the bakery and butcher shop. The store is very neat and while I shopped on a Friday evening there were several staff members replenishing and organizing the shelves. This really reminds me of the US chain 'Fresh Market' but with Brazilian flair. The focus is obviously on burgers, hence the name 'Rokka's Burgers' but also has a lot of tempting small plates, desserts and milkshakes. From 11:30 to 3:30 they have 'Marmita To Go.' In Brazil, a takeout, inexpensive meal is often called a marmitex or quentinha. It reminded me of the 'build your own bowl' concept you see in the US at quick serve restaurants. You can also build this online with the cost calculating as you choose options. Customers can choose from categories like rice or quinoa, sides, protein, salads and toppings. They also offer party meals (Kit Festa Rokka's) with 48 hours notice. These can be ordered through the website. I fell in love with catupiry cheese at a Brazilian pizza place several years ago. Although the burgers were tempting I saw an order of 'Coxinha de Frango Com Catupiry' being delivered to another table and I knew that was for me. These tear drop shaped fritters are made of potato dough with chicken and catupiry cheese. The cheese is rich like US cream cheese and they make a great small plate of fried food. Rokka's plate has four good sized pieces that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside for 10.90. The server was very friendly and although I don't speak Portuguese when I described the dish she quickly directed me to the porcoes section of the menu. This store is adjacent to Orlando's tourist corridor with easy access right off the I-4 Sand Lake exit. I also liked they have a wide selection of items like charcoal, a paletas case, fancy bulk chocolates and even flower bouquets. This is a great resource for Brazilians but is also a fun destination shop for Orlando residents to taste Brazilian specialties and have a family meal.

We ordered the soft tofu soup, kimchi stew, and bulgogi, and every single dish was amazing. The soups came out piping hot and were packed with rich, authentic Korean flavors. The soft tofu soup was silky, comforting, and full of flavor, while the kimchi stew tasted just like a homemade meal--deep, savory, and perfectly spicy. The bulgogi was incredibly tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. As Koreans, we're always hoping to find Korean food that tastes like home when we travel, and Myung Ga exceeded our expectations. It was fresh, delicious, and exactly the comfort food we needed after a long day of walking around the parks. If you're visiting Orlando and craving authentic Korean food, don't miss this place. Once I was inside, I saw that Cairo Market was made up of a medium sized Middle Eastern market (hence the name) with an area on the left side of the store for grilling and selling cooked food. The menu above the grilled food area looked interesting, but sadly at around lunchtime no one was working the grill. With a rumbling stomach, I was disappointed that the "kabob" side of the market was deserted. Probably a good thing that it was deserted as upon further inspection of the food preparation area it looked a bit dingy and not too clean. If you do manage to come back when someone is cooking, there appears to be ample seating toward the end of the store. As you can see from the picture I posted, the menu entries appear to use Halal meat for those of you with specific religious needs. Not me, I'll eat anything! If it's dead, it's good eating. :-) Still surprised that no one was selling any food around lunchtime as this almost empty store could have truly benefited from selling some hungry tourists a few orders of freshly cooked kabobs. I wish them the best of luck, but with the falling-apart-exterior and unkempt interior, I think the Cairo market won't be around for too much longer.

During my last visit, I asked about several items from the menu, and the employee wearing sunglasses inside the store just kept smiling and saying, "No, we don't have that," and "Unfortunately, we don't have that either." The customer in front of me even joked, "Well, you don't have anything!" I then asked if they had a cappuccino, and once again the answer was no. At that point, I left and went to Amor em Pedaços instead. If you don't hire friendly and attentive staff, pay employees fairly, keep your inventory stocked, and take care of your business, customers will go elsewhere. It's sad to see one of the first Brazilian bakeries reach this point. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements before it's too late.
