Popped in here on the promise of grilled food and kabobs per the signs at the front of the market's entrance. Once I was inside, I saw that Cairo Market was made up of a medium sized Middle Eastern market (hence the name) with an area on the left side of the store for grilling and selling cooked food. The menu above the grilled food area looked interesting, but sadly at around lunchtime no one was working the grill. With a rumbling stomach, I was disappointed that the "kabob" side of the market was deserted. Probably a good thing that it was deserted as upon further inspection of the food preparation area it looked a bit dingy and not too clean. If you do manage to come back when someone is cooking, there appears to be ample seating toward the end of the store. As you can see from the picture I posted, the menu entries appear to use Halal meat for those of you with specific religious needs. Not me, I'll eat anything! If it's dead, it's good eating. :-) Still surprised that no one was selling any food around lunchtime as this almost empty store could have truly benefited from selling some hungry tourists a few orders of freshly cooked kabobs. I wish them the best of luck, but with the falling-apart-exterior and unkempt interior, I think the Cairo market won't be around for too much longer. read more

This place is BEYOND nasty. It is beyond me, how does Health Department allows this store + "restaurant " stay in business. Cairo Market has some basic middle eastern groceries, the "fresh" baklava we just bought in March 2018 must have been baked in 2017 if not before. Cairo Market offers some basic appetizers and sandwiches that you can eat in their "restaurant." All doors at Cairo Market have turned black from dirty fingerprints, "restaurant" seems to serve as storage for paintings and furniture that has been put out off use. Behind the front counter there are huge piles of stuff the clerks have for their personal use. Nextdoor Mekka wasn't much better either as far as cleanliness. If you are frustrated about your kids not cleaning their rooms, pay a visit to Cairo Market - I guarantee you are going to feel so much better about your house that may be need of cleaning read more

Cairo Market is a huge middle eastern store. They have everything I can think of - Halal Meat, olive oil, and so many other middle eastern items. They sell sheeshas as well. It is located just next to the masjid, and there is also a counter where you can order food (halal of course) and eat at the tables to the side. They also have a section of all kinds of religious stuff. The owner is very nice and helpful, as is his family. read more

No one would think that a cafe style restaurant is located in this Egyptian grocery store, but there is! Their Gyro meat is tastier than others I've tried, and they heat-press your gyros before serving it to you, this gives the Gyro a hot crunch which in turn compliments the overall taste and flavor. I would recommend eating your Gyro in the dining area set up at the back of the store, this enables you to eat it while it's still hot. Don't expect this place to look like an American restaurant ! however, it is a nice way to experience Egyptian culture and hospitality while you are in there. read more

Visiting from out of town, I stopped by hoping to buy a few groceries. This store has a large selection of many things, namely spiced oils (e.g. Almond oil, black seed oil, thyme oil, etc) I was hoping to buy some tomato sauce or canned tomatoes, but I didn't see any. I did see tomato paste, but it was a larger bottle and at almost $4, I really didn't need that much. Their fresh tomatoes didn't look all that great so we left without any tomato products, sadly. We bought some ground beef, which turned out nicely after cooking. The cashier was friendly. This store is next to a mosque. And there are other Middle Eastern small businesses in that area (e.g. Hookah club, restaurants) read more

Nice place for shopping middle eastern groceries and eat some authentic egyptian food. I love their rotisserie chicken, shawarmans and lamb shank. The lady behind the food counter is very nice and twice made food for my family even after she had closed the kitchen late at night. The store however needs some organization and dusting around where they have some clothes etc for sale. They have spacious seating area at the rear of the store where you can sit down and eat the delicious food. read more

Taking from an Egyptian that lived in Miami for 15 years, whenever we are in Orlando that is the spot we go to to eat AUTHENTIC 100% Egyptian food like kosharee and mombar and ma7shy. we usually call them before we go to even order specific foods like this and we order enough to eat and take with us back to miami. Dont need to tell you how nice and friendly the staff is ... they also have fresh meats and freshly backed bread. read more

worst place to go in kissimmee ever. The owner is very rude, place is very outdated and unclean, service is very slow. It took over 30 mins to get few sandwiches and we were charged more than the menu prices.
