They will not or cannot accept input, even when their students made mistake. Don't students go to beauty schools to learn. If customers don't voice their opinion, how do they learn? I wrote a complaint to Director Brad, but he ignored and never responded. A few people told me the same that they wrote but Brad ignored. I would not recommend anyone to go to school here or be their models for their students. They do not appreciate you spending your time to model for their students.

I showed the student what I wanted with my hair and was told that my ask wasn't " realistic" which honestly should've been the moment I just left because I would feel like I asked for something very basic. I wanted long layers and not a lot of my hair cut off. I walked in with my hair length close to the end of my back, and I walked out with shoulder, cut hair. The student herself literally could not even do a simple haircut. She had to keep getting her instructor to help her. I have extremely thick, long curly hair. I wish the student had said she wasn't comfortable working with my type of hair because I honestly feel like I was her first client ever in her life. She sat me down and washed my hair, barely even scrubbing the product in my hair afterwards she had me sit and wait for her instructor. She had cut the bottom of my hair dry before to avoid over cutting it however when her instructor started cutting it with a razor I should've ran. I came in at 9:30 and literally left at 12 PM. I understand that these are students however I really think that hands-on learning with a student should be focused on dolls first until they're ready to actually cut human hair. My once really long curly beautiful hair is now completely uneven layers. I now have to pay an extra $60-$100 just to get it fixed. I literally have not cut my hair in two years because of stuff like this. I will literally never cut my hair again. Please do not waste your time getting your haircut here, especially if you have really long curly hair. I only have a video of what I walked out of the salon looking like. I wish I took photos it was SO BAD. Also, when they blow dried my hair, they didn't even finish blow drying it. It was still wet and there were two students working on my hair with two different type of blow drying techniques so my hair looked absolutely freaking ridiculous. They also put moose in my hair, which made my hair crispy and gross and then at the end of my three hour appointment for a simple cut and blow dry This student had the audacity to literally walk me all the way to the pay station and wait for a tip. Like UHHH NO MAM YOUR NOT GETTING A DIME YOU RUINED MY HAIR. IM GOING TO BE ROCKING BUNS FOR MONTHS TO AVOID THE LENGTH OF MY HAIR. I'm LIVID . DONT EVER GO HERE JUST GO TO A DAMN PROFESSIONAL.

My nail artist, Allyssa, is very good at her job. She not only listens to what I ask for, but she gets the shape and the length perfect. I've only had one design by her so far, but I'm looking forward to having her work on some other nail designs for me. I also had the pedicure. The pedicure is a water free pedicure, which at first worried me because my feet are pretty dry. But the outcome was very good! The last time I got a senior haircut there, it was $5. Today it was $8. The scalp treatment was supposed to be $3.50. Today it was $8.00! This place has NO atmosphere whatsoever terrible lighting, ugly, "institutional" feeling. The student did nothing to remove the dead skin and calluses on the bottom of my feet (no pumice stone, filing, etc.). I had to ASK her to cut my long toenails (she wouldn't have if I hadn't specifically asked). She used gel polish when I requested regular, and I had to pay extra to get the gel removed the next time I went for a pedicure (at a real salon). No instructor supervision at all -- there was no one to quality-check her work or to ask me for feedback (which is desperately needed if this student ever wants to learn how to do a proper pedicure service). I would absolutely never go again.

I went to EMT Utah for my Basic EMT and it was probably the worst education I have ever received…read more Instructors were inattentive, lacked communication, and disorganized. While taking the course there were two days when instructors did not even show up to the class. And when they did, they often did not know what they needed to go over that day because there were so many different instructors and they would not communicate with each other. It took 3 attempts to pass the NREMT as I felt like the education was lacking and I had to teach myself everything in the textbook after class was over. Of those I have talked to from class, only about half of them say they were capable of passing the NREMT, showing a huge flaw in the education received from EMT Utah.

I just competed my AEMT course and it exceeded all of my expectations. The amount of knowledge and…read moremy overall competence derived from this course is going to help me so much in field. The instructors are amazing and really hold you to a higher standard, meaning that they are providing you with more knowledge and education that most other institutions would ever consider, which overall prepares you better for the national exam.
