Gets you from Point A to Point B for a reasonable price. Be sure to leave yourself extra time when getting picked up to return to the airport because you will not be the only the pick-up and some of your other passengers may think that the world revolves around them and inconveniences everyone else, I would use more choice language but this is a family website. With that being said our driver was very friendly and personable and still got us there early. In my opinion one of the better ways to get you from BWI to DC that wont cost you an arm and a leg. read more

I used this service to and from the airport. Easy enough to schedule through the internet. Being treated like cattle is expected since this is a shuttle service. When they picked me up at home, because I had a real early flight, I was alone. But going home from the airport, I only waited a few minutes before they called me and shared the van with 2 other folks. I would take it again. read more

My flight got in late. Ended up waiting about an hour for a shuttle. Because of the wait they refunded my original amount and gave me credit for another shuttle. Sweet deal!! This service is unreliable!!! I made reservation over a month in advance. The website says that they watch your flight and know when you are delayed but this is not true. I was on a flight that was delayed over an hour due to weather issues. I arrived at BWI airport after midnight and called to see where I should go to meet the van. I was told there would not be any pick up after midnight because they didn't have drivers available. Why wasn't I told that when I purchased my round trip ticket or why didn't anyone call once I was delayed so that I could make other pick up arrangements? Poor communication and lousy customer service. My safety was not taken into consideration when they left me stranded in the airport!! I will not use your services again and will never refer your services to anyone!! They did not even offer a full trip refund. My sister got off her plane at Dulles in DC at 9:30 pm. She didn't arrive at our place until midnight. Unfortunately, Super Shuttle seems to not have enough business to allow shuttles to leave frequently, nor to plan trips so people don't have to sit in the van while it drives all around before getting to their destination. Returning to Dulles, we experimented with taking the Metro/shuttle bus. It should have taken two hours but it took 2.5 because of work on the tracks. That means it was $10 cheaper than SS but just as long. I've revised my review to give Super Shuttle two stars, because all the options for getting to Dulles are either expensive or time-consuming. read more

Horrible! They tell you you have you to wait at most 25 mins to be picked up and they definitely took longer than that! Disorganized, pack too many people in a van, once in the van we had to wait 15 mins to actually start moving, horrible local music blasting in the radio. The only good thing was that it's cheaper than a cab would be. Shouldn't have tipped at all but they make you ore pay and tip before boarding. read more

SuperShuttle did an excellent job. Originally, there was a problem with my pickup address -- I was scheduled to be picked up in the wrong neighboring town. SuperShuttle caught this mistake about an hour before my scheduled pickup. In order to make sure I got to the airport on time, they sent a private car. They easily could have just refunded me instead (and then I would have been in a very bad situation...). I made reservations with Super Shuttle for New Years Eve after researching several different companies they wee the best fit. To make a long story (which I could go on for pages) short they did not show up, no phone call, nothing, making us miss much of our show (the majority of the show was over when we arrived). They were supposed to be here between 1600-1615 to pick my friend up for a trip to BWI. She needs to be there at 1815. They called me at 1610 to say they can't make it out here. My best option would be to let them refund the $40 I've already paid, call a cab and then they'd refund the difference. The other option was for them to arrange the cab. Just pay for the cab. Whatever your savings, it's not worth it. When I arrived at BWI, I went to the counter, my reservation was confirmed, and I was given a ticket and told to sit. I sat for 45 minutes. No one told me why or what we were waiting for as there were 3 shuttles parked out front. I went up and asked for a refund so I could take a cab and miraculously it was time to go. I'm waiting on them to take me back to the airport. I asked for a 4:10 pick up. I was called and told it would be 4:30. It's 5:00 AM. Fool me once... Never again. I used SuperShuttle on April 28, 2015. My original plan was to use Uber for transportation, but with the Freddie Gray riots in the area, I felt more comfortable using a shuttle with other travelers. Once I got to the SuperShuttle desk, it literally took me 2 minutes to book my ride and pay. They don't waste any time with that part. Then I waited. I sat for about 25 minutes for my van to arrive. I was annoyed since I was running late for an event, but then again, I had no reservation since I thought I'd be using Uber. The ride was fine and the driver was very polite and helpful. I'd use the service again, but I'd definitely make a reservation first to avoid the wait. Tip: Call ahead for pricing. The Hilton website said $13 (one way) and the Hilton concierge person told me $15. It ended up being $16. read more

Supershuttle is not a reliable option for Baltimore Airport, especially because there is no one to man the booth at the airport or take calls in case your flight gets delayed. This happened to me recently and I notified them about a possible delay, but when I finally reached I could not locate the shuttle and no one was available at the helpline number. I ended up taking another cab which cost me a fortune due to the last minute reservation. On calling for a refund and feedback, I was quickly told that the money will be refunded- the man on the phone was not at all interested in feedback. I thought that the reliability and over confidence was awful and will never take a supershuttle again. read more

My flight was delayed and hence I missed my second flight to Baltimore. Called the customer service right after I receive my newly issued ticket. But they are unwilling to make a new reservation for me without me paying for my fare AGAIN! And I was told that they won't be able to pick me up at the time I arrive, I may have to wait for an unknown amount of time ("Just call when you arrive and we will see how long it takes depending on other flights!") I have a love, hate relationship with this company. First of all it is safe, minimally convenient (if you're not into overly quick service), and somewhat reliable. Up until my past two return trips, I wanted to remain a loyal customer. So far my 'departure' trips have been fine. You do need to pad your flight time with 30-40 minutes early if you are doing ride-share. Just in case you have several pick-ups before going to the airport. This isn't a terribly huge inconvenience, but it really helped me with this current trip. It is my 'arrival' trips that have been a bit unreliable, and quite delayed. In 2016, my flight was delayed coming into Baltimore. I wasn't able to check in with anyone until we were on the ground. My plane landed at 11:30pm and the company FINALLY sent a 3rd party to get me (claiming they had no one else going my way for a ride share- which is probably true given the time of day) around 2:30am. This ride was far-less dramatic. The app made it easy for me to switch shuttles. If you're going to Washington DC or Annapolis from BWI the Shuttle seems to be far more swift and reliable. There was an attendant there, that's about as helpful as the app, but it did make things seem to go faster. Again, I was traveling North of Baltimore so I had to wait. (finding my luggage that didn't make it - took less time than this - and I understand the ride-share thing). So I sat at the pick-up zone for a good hour waiting for other people to go north. It was an additional hour and 1/2 to actually get to my home. This is hit or miss, when I did this for my trip to Jamaica, no issues departing or arriving, maybe that was a rare gem of services. read more

They canceled 30 minutes before my flight, costing me $150 charge for my airline ticket. When called to complain, the rep was extremely rude & condescending, & raised her voice at me. On a different occasion, I was being taken home on a ride share, & the driver drove past my house to other quadrants in DC. I was the last drop off, and all the driver said was, "Oh, you should have been first." I was on that crappy shuttle for THREE hours. No apology, no nothing. Ok, first the positive. Great for the journey TO the airport. They have to get you there a certain amount of time before your flight, so have to pick you up at a reasonable time prior to flying. Now, the return journey, something completely different. I booked a return "taxi" 3 weeks before my actual journey was needed as I was away for 2 and a half weeks. I get off my flight and have my suitcases by 8.15pm. Go to their counter and they tell me I have to take a number and sit for "up to but not over 30 minutes". 40 minutes later we are assigned a vehicle. In the meantime people who have not prepaid arrive and leave the counter, some of these leave in their taxi 5 - 15 minutes after paying. We end up with 4 other drop offs. The driver proceeds to play with his GPS navigator - while driving out of the airport !! Couldn't sit there and get everything sorted before he leaves. We then drive over 40 minutes before he makes the first drop off. After leaving there he proceeds to play with his GPS again - while driving - to find the next drop off. This happens twice more before we are finally dropped off and hour and a half after boarding the vehicle ( BWI - taxi number 731 ). If he had been in any way familiar with the area he would have done the journey in the opposite direction. 25 mins max to the first drop off, then 5 minutes between the next one and my self. The third drop off would have taken a further 15 minutes - total time 50 minutes dropping everyone off, instead of the route he chose. I will use them again to get to the airport, however I have no intention of using them to get home again. read more

This is the most cost effective way to go to DC if you arrive after midnight. Or do not want to take bus/metro. I booked the shuttle the night before from BWI to Columbia Heights DC. When I arrived I received one text for online check in and one with the direction to the service desk. When I got my bag and went to the service desk they printed my "boarding pass" and told me the wait time is 45 minutes or less. There were about 12-15 people waiting in the airport. Within ~30 minutes our shuttle was ready. I was sharing the ride with 3 other people to DC. This is not the fastest way to get to your destination as you may or may not be the first passenger to be dropped off. Considering this I was satisfied with the service and the price. read more

I was worried because reviews weren't that great for DC super shuttle. But they were prompt and we arrived on time! I picked 6 am online, which apparently means 5:45. I'm fine with it being early, having 15 lag time, but the driver said he would leave if I wasn't out in one minute, which was like 5:50. I am a frequent traveler and I've used Super Shuttle all over the country. Hands down this trip in Baltimore has been the most subpar experience. From the surly, uncommunicative female employee at the baggage claim doors to the long waits it was unbelievably annoying. My sister and I booked a week ago for an early morning ride to BWI on line and was given a 15 minute window. This morning (morning of my trip) 15 minutes before the pick up window we get a call saying they could not find anyone to pick us up so they were not coming! The woman in the phone then had the nerve to tell me "What I can do for you is refund what you paid"'. when my mom and I reached Dulles airport we got off the airplane I was being shifted from shuttle bus to shuttle bus because there was an issue nobody could not find the name it was under. if you're going to have a business like this then you have to ready to rip. " Well, what do I mean by that? you have to know what the name was the name under and you have t have it by the time the customer comes out of the airport ; even if they call and they are already at the airport you should have their name and then the driver made us get out of the car because there was an issue of who was going to take us home. well thing is that when people come off of the airport their tired, hunger and ready to go home and the driver was going to Arlington Virginia and then the driver went to their places and dropped other people off and my mother got home at 7:00 pm and when we got off the airport it was about 5:00 pm this was the worst service that we have ever had. well, one thing there should be a shuttle bus to different locations at the airport. for example, there should be a shuttle bus for Virgina, Maryland Washington DC etc. because not everybody lives in Virginia and Maryland etc. people got jobs family, and animals to take care of and they want to get home at a resionanbble time to do those things and other could have health issues. read more

I had reserved a shuttle pick up for BWI 12/24 @ 5:05am several weeks in advance & prepaid online At 4:40am I received a call saying they couldn't pick me up because there were no vans in my area. Just to let you know they have to pass my house to get to BWI. The lady said they could get a van to me around 7am, and my flight was @ 7:45am!!! I told her that was not acceptable & couldn't they find someone to get me as I had no ride to the airport. She then said "oh, we'll give you a full refund"! Took the van from BWI; I had made a reservation online and after getting my checked bag I went to the counter. The woman there was very helpful; she checked my reservation printed out my ticket and receipt and told me it could be up to 25 minutes and that I should have a seat. I used the restroom and while I was in there the counter clerk came in to tell me my van was there. The ride was pleasant enough in light traffic. I would use them again. read more

From hotel to BWI on a very busy day (7000 or so of my closest friends leaving on the same day) the service was awesome! The driver was early for pickup and I loved the text message telling us our ride was ready. No complaints from driver that we had too much luggage (we did, we always do) and we were dropped right where we needed to be. Would have been 5 stars if the reservation could have been made via website on my phone. Couldn't make that work so I had to call, which is an extra charge. Other than that, great service! read more

Our college son scheduled a Shuttle service for today, 11/26/14 to arrive at the airport for an 8:25 am flight. The Shuttle arrived early, which was great, but there were so many guests to pick up that he when I received a text from him, on the shuttle, 45 minutes before his flight departs I was very unhappy. It occurred to me that perhaps Super Shuttle should overstaffed for busy days like this and not contract that many guests on one shuttle. I should have read the yelp reviews. I think your supershuttle experience is how you hit it and/or where you are in the pick up/drop off. First one to get picked up or dropped off then it is great. On the other side of that...it is miserable. I flew in from a funeral and didn't have my car in the airport. I live just far enough away from bwi to make a taxi ride or train difficult. I thought about uber but then figured super shuttle was a reliable choice. Got to the counter. The woman was really rude. I asked how it worked and she rudely told me to sit down. The shuttles sat outside for 40 min before I got called. Then I was unlucky enough to be the last stop. It took 3 hrs from check in to drop off on what is usually a 35 min trip. It was the most circuitous route ever. I'm literally In tears and the drive home was longer than my flight. We almost got into a accident a few times. The driver made some crazy lane changes on the highway. Anyway - it's not the drivers fault the service routes are crazy so I give a 2nd star. Super shuttle, I get it you need to put as many people in your cars as you can to make money - but there is a point when it's just crazy. Anyway at $60 one way I will not be taking super shuttle again. I'll go with my gut and take uber. read more

Nice service if you could care less how long it takes to get to where you need to go. I first waited 30 min for the shuttle to arrive, then after we left, and we were probably 6-7 min out from the airport, they called us back to pickup another passenger. My son and I were visiting a college in Baltimore and flew in and out in one day. We used Supershuttle for the first time. What a great experience on the return leg from Loyola to the airport. The gentleman was very sweet and even gave my son life advice about applying himself in college "Remember you get out of college what you put into it. " He also pointed out landmarks, monuments, museums, ball parks, etc as we drove through the city on the way to the airport. What a nice experience. I am sorry we did not get his name. :) read more

We had a private shuttle for 7 of us and the drivers were great. Our shuttle from Dulles arrived about 20 minutes after we did. The only issue was identifying which bus was ours. The number they call for letting you know your bus has arrived is not the bus number. Other than that everything went smoothly. On our return, the bus came early to our vacation rental, but was waiting patiently for us. One of our party dropped a credit card in the van, but it was quickly sent to the airport and we were contacted. Overall a very good job by the service. read more

I scheduled and prepaid, including tip, for a ride to BWI airport. The driver came 40 min late. This is inexcusable. After all, this is their entire business and in my view they FAILED. It caused undue stress to me as a traveler. As a result, I will NEVER use them again, would not recommend them, and will take Uber next time. As a matter of fact, an Uber driver came by my hotel as I was waiting outside and asked if I needed a ride. Had I not paid Supershuttle in advance, I would have gladly taken the ride.
