LESS THAN ONE STAR. went on my birthday 05/05/2002 at 1:19am and the female bouncer was the worst. definitely prejudice and had a superiority complex. She was talking to me like I was nothing better than the bottom of her shoe. She wouldn't let my friends in even thought they are 21 and refused to explain why and acted as if she was better than everyone and completely ignored the rest of my questions as to why my friends couldn't get in. She needs to get fired, it was a horrible experience and if they continue to hire ppl like that I def will not go. If you're a college student Please DO NOT GO HERE, the female bouncer has no proper etiquette and will make you regret your experience. I know it sounds a bit extra but I swear this was so not okay and definitely would not go somewhere with an owner who lets their employees treat their customers like shit. Great DJ's, great bar staff, great security staff and the owners are really nice. Karaoke every Tuesday night is a blast. Hookah on Tuesday and Sundays and a huge party on the weekends. A Great Bar For White Sepremists. I'm so white that when I take my shirt off the sun complains that it is too bright out! I live in Dallas and was visiting my brother who goes to UNT. We were hanging out with some of his friends who were Hispanic and having a good time dancing amongst ourselves when the staff suddenly decided to kick out me, my brother, my wife, and the three nice Mexican guys we were hanging out with. No idea why they kicked us out and when I loudly claimed racism the staff got angry and yelled louder and shoved us out. I haven't seen such overt racism this decade. If you're planning your next KKK meeting this is a great venue, otherwise I'd encourage you to go to the many other bars in the neighborhood. read more

If your college student and start a tab they will over charge you. Make sure and check your card. They someone who says they are the owner who walks around and pick fights with the college kids.. just a law suit waiting to happen... Never start a tab, they will rob you blind!! I left my card there one night after forgetting to close my tab so I had to go back the next day and it took a few close heart-attack inducing minutes but they found it and by policy added a 25% charge. I'd previously left an awesome review for this place and was a loyal customer but not anymore. One of the bouncers here is the biggest asshole I've ever encountered. My ID is Oklahoma because I'm from there and go to school in Texas. He asked me questions about it in the most patronizing and unprofessional way. It wasn't until I told him he could call a cop and have him tell him it's real that he was going to let me in. Last time they hit me with the shoes excuse & my buddy who was with me (and white) we literally went around the corner with me & switched shoes & they let him in without hesitation. & STILL WOULDN'T LET ME IN , definitely called him out on it & he didn't even know what to say just said neither of us could get in now after they had already stamped him & everything smh. just add a "NO COLORED" sign outside the door & make it easier for you guys like the old days. I tried going in with my mexican Id and the bouncer told me they do not except those , but just the week prior the same bouncer let me in with my mexican Id . They would not let my friend go in either and he let them know he would happily pay the cover and get an x on his hand . Giving this place one star is being generous. Went with a friend this past Saturday, 9/5/15. Fun atmosphere and good music, but the bartenders and "manager" were some of the rudest I have ever encountered. Went to go pay my tab and somehow my card was given to someone else. Apparently a guy that had closed out earlier had an identical card as me, aside from our photos on the credit card. The first bartender came over and told me my card was lost by saying "uhh your card is gone. It wasn't my fault, you gave your card to another bartender so he's the one who lost it" then proceeded to blankly stare at me without offering any kind of solution and attempting to help out any further. The bartender who originally took my card - who also happens to be the "manager" (I use the term loosely) - then came over and told me that my card had been given to someone else because our pictures on the cards looked so similar. I asked him how they ended up giving a girl's card to a guy, and he just shrugged and said "your picture kind of looks like a dude". When I asked him what I was supposed to do about my card being lost, he just told me to call my bank the next day and cancel it. As all of this was happening, the guy who ended up with my card came back to the bar after realizing he had received my card by mistake. Long story short, the bartender/so-called manager came back over with my card, and as I am signing for my card (kind of ridiculous I even had to pay my tab at this point), had the nerve to tell me "oh, you can just leave the "tip" line blank if you want". I also signed onto my bank account the next day and saw he took it upon himself to write in a $1 tip anyway, but it's not worth the $1 to deal with these incompetent people by calling up there and dealing with it. I understand how busy a bar can get on a Saturday night, so I know mistakes happen. But how they dealt with the entire situation was wrong, frustrating, and beyond unprofessional. I'm just glad the person who ended up with my card was a decent person and returned it. read more

Best college place to eat! Good, reasonable priced food!! Bartenders are super nice and attentive! I ordered there delicious BBQ wings, black and blue burger and beer Mac and cheese everything was absolutely delectable! I'm seriously impressed with how great there bar food is!
