Excellent cocktails and an awesome vibe. I just wish I could remember the name of the drink I had because it was so...dang...good. Looking forward to my next visit to Denton, because I will definitely be back.

This place is nice and chill and the drinks are good too! Great vibes and great music. Plenty of places to sit, food options on the same block and you can play tabletop games.

Drinks drinks drinks!!!! Great meet up spot with friends. We started our Denton adventure here and ended up at a restaurant for dinner. These drinks were delicious and great! Smoking outside ash trays provided.

Dog friendly! And a cute mural :)

One of my favorite spots in Denton. I love the atmosphere here and being able to bring my dog to the outdoor seating area. Feta's Greek food truck is right outside and they'll bring you your food if you opt to eat here. I am no beer connoisseur but everyone always gives great recommendations and gives samples before you order anything. There are so many options and they're constantly rotating out the selection of beers. A favorite I've tried has been the redbud wild berry wheat by the Denton brewing company!

It was so great to come back to this location especially with the Texas weather being so nice outside. Had 2 of the Denton County Brewing Company - Dopplebock and the server that we had was amazing as well, friendly and helpful too.

Really cool space just off the square in downtown Denton. I loved the history of the house and how homey it is. The selection is great and prices were even better. Bathroom was large and clean, too. We went during the day in June so we stayed inside but I imagine the outdoor space gets a lot of use. I really enjoyed it and will be sure to visit again when I'm back in town!

With so many taps I thought I died and went to heaven. Bartenders are always super friendly & knowledgeable.

Hands down the best bar in Denton. Excellent beer and whiskey selection. Big front porch and a huge backyard makes it feel almost like home.

The overall vibe has changed, and not in a good way. There seems to be a clear tension in the space that makes it uncomfortable to be there as a customer. From what I've observed, the current manager creates a very unpleasant environment. She consistently appears angry, tense, and overly controlling, and it visibly affects the staff. The employees often look uncomfortable, uneasy, and as though they are being constantly micromanaged. It's hard not to notice, and it completely changes the energy of the place. As someone who has spent money here and genuinely liked coming in before, it's frustrating to see management have such a negative impact on what used to be a welcoming environment. A business like this depends heavily on atmosphere, and when management makes both employees and customers feel uncomfortable, it reflects directly on the entire experience. I'm honestly surprised this hasn't already driven more employees away, because it is definitely pushing customers away. I hope ownership seriously reevaluates the current management situation before it causes even more damage to the business.

It paired so well with my red wine. Fo For our main we ordered chicken spaghetti bake $17.50. It consisted of fresh house-made spaghetti baked with house roasted chicken, white cheddar cream sauce, calabrese chili peppers, italian pico, five cheese blend. Wish we had looked a litte harder on this selection. We thought it was a chicken Alfredo. So this is defintley packed with cheese, more of a Mac and cheese bake. Everything was good! Full disclosure: We are Mexican food snobs. Highly critical of everything from the chips and…read moresalsa to the tortillas and the red and green chiles used (if it's spelled with an "i" on the menu...chili...huge red flag!). First, the atmosphere is very inviting for both a gathering of friends, but also a family could have a great meal there without feeling like you have to yell or compete with a happy hour crowd. The decor is chic and the mural in the rear part of the restaurant is amazing. We generally do not get cocktails often, but with a 1/2 off happy hour, we tried two different ones and both were amazing. One had a chamoy straw and I wish I could tell you what they were called, but I can't remember - just go with what looks like the most complex flavors and you won't be disappointed. We had the empanadas as an appetizer...excellent flaky crust, great filling; the fajitas, another great pick; and the short rib enchiladas with a pipían sauce...think spicier mole and not as chocolate-ly. I used to have pipían as a kid and this is a pretty good representation. If you like spicy, ask for the spicier salsa which is still not killer spicy (I could have used more heat) but the morita chiles speaks to the kitchen's knowledge of Mexican chiles and how to use them. Well done.

The drinks were also good! Now- the food. I hate to say this but it was very white washed mediocre Mexican food. And I had such high hopes because of how beautiful the inside was. The queso fundido was the best thing we got. But everything else was just "meh". Then we got the tres leches for dessert and it wasn't even wet which sealed the deal for me. It's acceptable, but you can go two blocks around the corner and get GOOD Mexican food.

This is why my rating is only based on the food quality. Brisket and Queso $10 Smoked brisket, Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce, cilantro. A little too high for an appetizer, but the queso and brisket were good. I wasn't a fan of the sauce, the sweetness was a clash for me. The chips were also way too salty. The house salad $14 was an XL salad for sure! Everything was so good and fresh. They kindly brought me extra cheese and grilled jalapeños. The ranch was just right too! Downside: my patty was over-seasoned and overcooked. My partner purchased their most basic burger, the Waylon $12, the fries are sold separately. This burger was small, and once again, the patty itself was a disappointment. Texas sun cocktail was refreshing but just a simple pineapple and vodka mix.
