And all of that's before you even get to the counter. Yes, the line gets long from time to time, but they also keep it moving. Fail! I went to the Orlando office to submit an documents for a G Security License. First, the…read moremethod of payment posted online is confusing. I get there with the necessary documents at my appointment time and I'm told I need a personal check or money order. So, now I have to drive to Publix for a money order. No cash or credit cards accepted. Next, I go back and find I have to complete an application. I do so diligently and turn it in to the clerk at the window. I watch him go through the application page-by-page. I get finger printed and leave. A month goes by and I check my license status online. It states; application incomplete. Through an online chat, I am told a whole page is missing. How can that be since I watched the incompetent moron go through it page by page. "I don't know" is the answer I get. But you were sent a letter date Dec. 10th. Ok, WTF does that have to do with the idiot not seeing the missing page. The parrot says' I don't know. Fortunately, I caught it before the 30 day deadline because I didn't receive their letter until 5 days after going back to the office. The whole time, I got the feeling they were blaming the victim. So I can't go to work still because of their moron's mistake. I just wonder how long it would continue if he had a months pay taken out of his pocket. Do yourself a favor and check your own paper work because no one knows how to do their job any more and there's no accountability.

Listen I'm not condoning any person for having a visit to this place, and I don't have enough…read moreexperience to know if this is normal at other jails but I just thought everyone would get a chuckle with a review of the intake department. The entire department of intake guards is just the sheriffs department rejects. None of them have even spent a minute in a gym and the majority of them look as if they just got done eating 7 donuts. their only upper hand is that they have weapons while you have your hands cuffed. I watched one guy get taken back behind curtains and beat by 4 guards who would otherwise struggle in a fair environment, all because he made a joke about how the know-it-all guard was short. He's Hispanic/asian and is trying to grow a beard but it's a struggle for him. The inmates frequently pick on him for being short, and He thought he was cool by putting me in solitary because "I didn't look like I respected him," to which I replied that respect was earned not given. That was his green light to handcuff me, throw me into a cell, and rip apart my single sheet of paper with phone numbers. Mind you, I was arrested for a suspended license and was released same day. I did nothing violent, was quiet, posed no harm to anybody. The night time guards pretty much all of them were super reasonable and even helpful at times, and would converse or even joke a bit with you. However, the day time guards it's pretty obvious they're picked on frequently and were likely bullied when younger. I get that they're dealing with some terrible people, but they also deal with folks who made a very simple mistake and are just trying to be released. They're extremely self conscious and it's obvious that they know that if they were on and even field with the inmates that they wouldn't be nearly as confident. Yelling, speaking with a fake deep voice does not change the fact that people don't respect this group of Scorned sheriffs rejects. You have grown women out in squad cars risking their lives but then you have this group of losers sitting in intake knowing they weren't brave or qualified enough to do what the real sheriffs do

Just became a member of the Hillsborough County libraries at this branch. The staff were super…read morehelpful, patient and kind during the enrollment process. It was super quick and easy! They also were able to answer all my questions. The library itself is somewhat small, but there are plenty of books and plenty of areas to sit. There are also many computers for those who do not have a laptop/home computer. It was very quiet and never got too crowded when I was there. I would definitely come back!
