Supreme refinished the tiles on the walls of my bathroom and the tub in 2017. They were 1950s blue -- now white. I have soap tray built into the tile of the wall, which Frank warned me would be vulnerable because of the configuration. The soap tray is part of the ceramic tile, very 1950s. Anyway, there was some flaking after almost six years. Supreme came back and touched up the flakey area. It now looks good as new. Extremely unprofessional. I received an online quote for over $1000 on May 5th. Then tried to make an appt for someone to come and see the job in person. Minimal replies to numerous emails, and one prior cancellation. Finally texted and called. Had an appt today for 10-10:30. I specifically asked that they confirm before heading over since I live a half hour away, and didn't want to sit there if they were delayed. More back and forth on email, so I called. His attitude on the phone was rude, so I told him I'm cancelling, I don't want to work with him and hung up. He then started texting me terrible things. Really great alternative to replacing tile. I opted to do my kitchen tiled walls in lieu of re-tiling because I knew reading the description that it could wear and tear from normal use. Given that we won't be touching the kitchen tiles, this was the best area for trying this out. Frank and Alex were very professional, courteous and incredibly responsive. Alex arrived and very neatly protected every surface that wasn't to be re-glazed and made both my husband and I about the steps, how long it would take, and we couldn't be happier. My one comment was that because it is re-glazing, there is a little spot of some of the liquid showing a "dripping" effect. They ONLY reason i saw it was because I graze my tiles with linear light under the cabinets, and you can really only see it from close up. I just have to move my lights a little away from the tile and you won't really notice it. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, for it to be "PERFECT" the surface would have to be- so in some areas, the coverage was not "perfect" but all around really great job. read more

Specifically said I needed to regrout from off-white to grey. They did the whole job in white. I told the owner we needed it in grey. He said fine don't pay, then hung up on me. I then called him back to ask if he hung up on me and he said he "ended" the conversation. I then asked him if he really just botched my job and then hung up on me? and asked him if that's how he treats his customers? I told him I had to now get it redone and he said "your not gonna get it redone, you just got it done for free, "F?$!" you." That's literally how it went. The job looks fine, but it's stark white, not grey like the rest of the grout in my kitchen and house as well. So that's how the wonderful owner Frank decided to handle the situation. I gave the guy who did the job $100 tip and told him I was very sorry for the miscommunication on the company's end not his. Just so you know I'm being real here, this was the message I initially sent to get the quote "Looking to regrout my bathroom tile. Approx 30 sqft of subway tile that needs to be regrouted from off-white to grey. No other services needed. Appreciate your quote and time thank you!" I'm sorry Frank is mad that he didn't read my initial request correctly, but cursing me out is not the way to go. read more

I'd originally given a 2 star review because there was clearly a miscommunication between the business and my super when he called to tell them where to fax/email their COI. This led to them canceling my appointment without calling me to let me know there was an issue. However, since I posted my review, my opinion of their professionalism and communication skills has deteriorated. They called twice after I posted my review and did not leave voicemail but instead proceeded to start texting me in what I felt was an extremely unprofessional manner. I've found them unpleasant to deal with other than my initial interaction of scheduling the appointment. In one day they made my bathroom go from a gross 100 year old bathroom to a look like a new, clean and beautiful one. They did a great job. I did however find a chemical stain on my hardwood floor in my entrance when they left. I don't know that they noticed it. Instead of calling them, I tried to clean the stain and after failing at that (and probably making the stain worse) I posted a negative review on her. I received a call about 3 minutes after posting the review asking me how and when they can help and notifying me that if I ever have a problem with the bathroom in the future, I should call them for their assistance. Their work and their customer service is FANTASTIC! I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Companies that stand by you when something goes wrong and you act like a jerk about it are very rare. They came in and worked on the stain on time. It is still slightly visible but I'm sure it will continue to blend in and soon will be gone to the naked eye. The bathroom looked great when they finished. It really did. But I'd never use them again. Most contractors clean up after a job. Not these. They left large bags of left over chemicals and toxic chemical soaked paper and tape inside the house. We called and asked them to please get it, thinking it was an accident, but they refused. Smelled toxic. The village wouldn't pick it up. Had to wrap and transport in our car to a hazardous materials place. The odor took almost 3 weeks to dissipate and the bath area wasn't pleasant for a long time. (even with fans, and open windows) But as I said, it looked good. read more

I keep looking at my "new bathroom" and wondering why I didn't refinish it two years ago, upon moving to my apartment! What a difference a reglaze made! In terms of the reglazing work, they did a great job! However, I did not appreciate the communication. When I called to find out information about how the process works, I was told I would be able to use my tub again after 24 hours. However, when the worker finished, he showed me how he removed all the grout and told us we had to wait 48 hours and then to regrout the tub. When u say all the grout I mean all the grout around the whole entire tub. Even where the tub meets the floor tiles. I would have appreciated the owner giving me advance notice when I asked him about the process that they would remove all the grout and it would be up to us to regrout. Even if it was an extra cost at least give me that option to pay the extra cost. I was never once told that the grout would be removed. I text the owner and told him while his guy did a great job, I would have appreciated advance notice that the grout would be removed. I said it politely and told him otherwise the job was done well. He never even bothered to reply. My husband and I both work full time and have a toddler. When do we really have time to grout? It's not like we do that all the time that we're pros at it. I would have just appreciated a heads up or been given the option to pay a little extra and have someone come back to grout. read more
