The class instructor Crystal does an EXCELLENT job with teaching the class. Horrible Communication!…read more I heard about this school from a friend. I decided to call and book for my son. When I initially called I spoke with a lady who told me that this course was a week long course and that I could pay extra to have the driving test administered there. That way at the end of the week my son would be able to get a drivers license if he passed. I thought..why not? I am thinking back to HS where you do both classroom and driving instruction each day. I tried to ask as many questions as I could, but the lady seemed put out that I was asking them and wasn't really forthcoming with anything other than answering what I asked. The week before my son was to attend, I was then told that no, the first week is instruction only and then you have to schedule to drive the following week. So I asked, this is a two week course instead of one? She told me it was 6 hours of driving, but it has to be scheduled, so more like an additional 2-3 days. On the day we drop my son off I am handed paperwork. I have to list all the days and times of availability for the next 6-8 weeks. What?! I was told a week, then a week and 6 hours.. now its 6-8 weeks before they can be scheduled to drive? The miscommunication is unbelievable. So unprofessional.

But, that is immaterial to what Mr. Greene did, which is accept payment for a service for I no longer want or need from him, which amounts to theft. Bottom line is this: I paid for a service that I did not receive. I signed no contract nor does his website state "no refunds". If Mr. Greene were an honest individual and businessman, he would refund the money no questions asked. Unfortunately, he chose dishonesty. Also, after further investigation, his Facebook page "Safe Habits School of Driving" is rated at 2.2 Stars out of 5 Stars. There are MULTIPLE posts, not from customers, but other drivers who have witnessed him driving aggressively and dangerously around Augusta. He even followed a young lady and had a video recorder in his hand while yelling at her at a stop light. After reading his response, I hope that all parents will seriously think twice about using this Driving "school" (In quotes because there is no school, he just drives to your house and picks your child up.....). He seems to be an aggressive and angry individual, which doesn't make for a good driver, much less a driving instructor.

My brother is a single dad who works long hours and had been taking his son out sporadically whenever he could over the past couple of years to teach him to drive. My brother is a great driver and a good teacher, but didn't have the time to commit or the recall of some of those little details that many of us long-time drivers become complacent with over the years. After not passing twice in a row and the boy's permit about to expire for a second time, I hired Assist Driver Training for the Adult C course (3 lessons and the test). My brother couldn't believe the positive change in both his son's confidence and skills after just 3 lessons as they drove to the test! My nephew passed and is now awaiting his permanent license in the mail. Besides being a very pleasant person, Marc does more than teach to the test; his priority is ensuring that safety is paramount -- and that's what really makes a good driver. You do not drive below the speed limit in the left lane for extended periods of time. If your student is nervous, they should be in the right lane at all times except to make a left turn. They wouldn't let her in for her clothes even though they were in dress code, but because her legs were still showing they were upset. They are very sexist when it comes to the dress code and only target the young girls. In class, my daughter would talk about the offensive jokes the instructor would make pertaining to either sexism or racism, and he made her uncomfortable. She also stated that the instructor often made students feel dumb, yelled at students, and even belittled teenagers who were not in the class and mocked them to the students calling them "idiots". They are extremely high and mighty, even though they have a 1.9/5 star review on yelp. It is surprising they haven't received the hint for the past 5+ years.
