I had a broken Schlage smart lock in my front door. Called for service and the tech arrived in 20mins. Our elevator was broken and while walking up the stairs to 4th floor tech complained. Then after 2mins of looking at my lock told me that he had to break my door lock by drilling thru it. I was expecting something around $350 just to drill a hole on my lock to break it. It was a 5min job but he charged me initially $525 and ended up $500. I was expecting the fee included installing my new lock so I can lock my home. He said its another $125 to install my old lock. I declined the install and did it myself. Tech insisted to vacuum all the debris from the drilling on my floor. I gave them 2 stars because they arrived quickly. But for a 5min job of drilling thru my smart lock $500 is a rip-off. I could by a drill at home depot and do the work for $120 only to do the same work tech performed. read more

After some research and recommendations, we went with Supreme Locksmith. We needed a new ket cut and coded, as well as a fob for a 20+ year old car. Tom replied pretty quickly, was on time for the appointment. The job took some extra time due to the age of the car and type of key, but Tom worked it out and everything works great. It cost about the same as taking it to the dealer or other places I called, but we needed the work done that day, and Tom delivered. But then today, 6 days ater, the fob portion stopped working. I called Tom again, and he was in the neighborhood and reprogrammed the fob in about 30 seconds (Doing exactly what I thought I had been doing, but I must have missed a step). This company is a scam. I have 3 doors that I needed the be rekeyed and they said they charge 45 per lock. Once he got here after 40 minutes late he changed his fee to 350 dollars. Hired them to change the locks on 3 doors. Failed to put the final screw on the first door. Drilled the second door poorly. The flash plate is not flush the hole off the door is cracking. The third door was a sliding glass door. I have a picture that shows where he drilled and cracks point to the hole. He charge $974. When I called to complain, he blocked my number. read more

This is a real review, I have a full timeline of conversations, text messages and photos to support my experience: I was quoted $675.00 to replace my Porsche key. This was a fair quote; consistent with my dealership quote. I decided to use this service instead because they came to me and guaranteed an authentic key. They provided me with a "knock off" key without a serial number and they does not work!!! They came back and attempted to fix it several times without success. After having the key looked at by an authorized mechanic, I confronted them about the "knock off" key/ no serial number. They stopped taking my calls and the supervisor would not return my call. They refused to refund my 675 dollars; for a key I cannot use. I had to purchase a new key from the dealership. This was an act of FRAUD! I saw the same key on Amazon for $30 dollars. They alone through Porsche is more than $500+ programming fees, $675. The only way I can recoup my money is through small claims court. BE WARE! UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner immediately after my review and he requested a copy of my receipt and my phone number. I replied back with both immediately. He stated he would call me upon receipt. That was 20 days ago and I have not received a call. I have issued a formal complaint to Bureau of Security and Investigative Service (BSIS) Office Sacramento; the licensing board for locksmiths. I wanted to share this form of recourse in the event that you had/ have the same experience. California believes we should be able to trust our locksmiths. Best of luck! read more

I used them recently in a locked out situation, all the locksmith had to do was to let us in, no damage or no change of locks. I as charged $204, $30 for mobile service fee(?? Really) and 174 was just opening. Irritating part was that they don't tell you what the charge is but will say when the technician comes home they will explain but then you would have to pay for the service call anyway and it's an opportunity cost. I had cheaper quotes which was making me wait for couple of hours. I'd shop a little before we commit to these guys, and also they are an umbrella of independent locksmiths so must be commission based business. ** update - you could see the response from the business owner, you be the judge - "except for cheap ones and the one expect free service hunh?" These guys are awful. First off they aren't actually a lock company. They are a dispatch service who calls a lock company and charges you an extra $30 plus whatever the guys who actually do the work end up charging. Second they have 0 follow up so if the guy they call didn't fucking show up that means no one is going to. Addendum: they are a lock smith company who wasn't open, so they called another company to handle the job. The other company took 2 hours and had a totally different price. I'm not happy that they didn't disclose that the technician they were calling is a different company so the "tech fee" would be the regular price of another company plus the $30 fee that supreme originally quoted me. But the other company treated me fairly and took responsibility for the long wait so I can respect that. read more

They first made it appear the price was $35-$55, then after arrival they were supposed to tell me the actual price and they didn't. (I should have asked). The locksmith proceeded to work and then at the end of the job he wanted me to pay $164. After must resistance he reduced the price to $135. I paid and I shouldn't have. Really disappointed.. $150 to unlock my car??? It took like 1 minute! And the guy asked for cash, which makes it sound pretty shady! We're on a very fixed incomes, ESPECIALLY since all this Covid. So I called them for my car to reprogram my key for my infinity so that it works for the locks and they came and tried to fix my locks but it didn't work so the manager came another day to try and fix it but it just made the problem worse which then led to the car not being able to start because he altered the key and deleted the info on my car key which then made it not start anymore. So then I tried to call them to come back and fix it but they blocked my phone number and won't return my calls. They tried to blame it on the whole car itself, but before they even touched my car, it used to start. After they touched the car, that's when the problems on it escalated. I just want my car to start!!! NOTE: NOT A FAKE REVIEW. IM STATING FACTS!!!! Just don't want it to happen to anyone else, WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! He's been pestering me by email for weeks telling me why I'm wrong for why he didn't respond and to remove the review. It's not the initial mistake, it's how you respond. My review speaks for itself. His reactions and response are indicative of how he runs a business. Now it's a one star. I emailed and called on a Sunday for an emergency locksmith. I received a fairly quick email reply, but after I responded requesting service, there was no response. I then attempted to call and leave a message, but never got a call back. I recently had Supreme Locksmith at my home to replace the door knob/lock on my front door because I could no longer open it. The employee showed up 30 minutes late and did not bring the proper materials or tools to complete the job. The knob/lock combo he installed was a different type that did not cover the holes left by the original knob/lock. After a trip to the store, her returned with a plate to install over the exposed holes, but the size was not correct. He attempted to cut and then weld the pieces of the plate, but left a sharp, exposed edge. This was not satisfactory and I told him. He requested that I pay him $245.00 for this botched, unprofessional repair attempt. He put my original, broken door knob back on (crooked) and charged me $50.00. He also left scratches on my door.
