We've boarded our dog at a few places and are glad we came across this one. Now, it isn't a doggy daycare like other places, so the dogs aren't playing with each other. This does, however, mean the price is lower. We recently boarded our pup here for a long weekend and it was about half of what it would have cost at a daycare center. So even though it isn't daycare and the dogs aren't playing with each other all day, it seems like they have lots of room to roam and get plenty of playtime. Our guy came home tired and happy. Jill even sent along a few pictures of him playing around and it looks like he was in doggy heaven. We'll definitely be bringing our dog back again next time we're out of town.

The entire staff was kind, compassionate and truly dedicated to helping us with our pup. He has a ton of anxiety and issues with jumping, biting and being too scared to properly potty outside. Dr. Clark put together a great treatment plan along with some ideas to try for helping to stop the bad behaviors. She was so thorough and really listened and cared. It was such an amazing experience in comparison to the appointments we had over the years with our previous pets. I wish we had come here with them. They were 14 years old, but I feel they probably would still be here with us if I had brought them here... because they would have received better treatment. The office itself is breathtaking! It truly has to be seen to be believed! Absolutely ZERO smell. I have never been to a vet's office that didn't smell before. It kind of reminded me of a cruise ship... very exotic with giant sharks hanging from the ceiling, a statue of a Scuba diver, live parrots behind glass above the check in desk, saltwater fish tanks and surf boards. It is simply gorgeous. The upstairs is the boarding areas and you can watch the cats laying in the windows of the cat room. Professionalism, organization, smiling, communication and empathy make all the difference!! My puppy came home with a packet full of information, which included a visit summary with more information on it than my own doctor appointments have! When he got home he starting having diarrhea. That progressed to him pooping blood, which we already knew happens when he gets something he isn't supposed to have. I called and they refuse to do anything on a refund saying that even though they messed up and gave us the wrong food back, they did not mess up in giving him something he wasn't supposed to have. They said "sometimes older dogs poop blood". If I wanted my dog to be in worse shape after two days I could have just left him alone at home and saved a couple hundred dollars.

I stressed that I did not want them to shave her hair down close to her skin. She did have some matting, which I told them about when dropping her off, but they told me they could work with it. I also asked that her face be rounded, but they did not trim her face AT ALL. She had long bangs that hung over her eyes and they didn't even touch them, just put them in bows. She had 1 mat on top of her head and they shaved her head in that one spot and left the rest of it long. It looked absolutely ridiculous :( My husband and I had to cut her bangs ourselves when we got home just so she could SEE. They had her from 4:15pm - 7:30pm and I don't think they even gave her a bath. She didn't smell like shampoo and she still had dirt in her tail (which had also not been trimmed) Her nails were poorly cut so they were still sharp and long, one of them split in half at the tip? We think that because they were busy, they kept her in a kennel for the majority of the time and then rushed to finish her so they could go home. We will not be coming back and I do not recommend you bring your babies here.
