    I found it! Thanks, George.
    Kim M.

Great local, tribal community, place to buy seafood. Awesome prices! Very happy in that George S., here on Yelp, told me about this place. The fresh catch was very fresh, caught between midnight and 4:00 a.m. today. I bought 2 pounds of fresh King salmon that they filleted in front of me, 3 pounds of manilla clams, and a piece of smoked salmon. I wanted cooked Dungeness crab but they were out. They had live crabs though. Super nice and helpful people, both the employees and the customers waiting in line.

    Live fresh Dungeness Crab.

Absolutely the best! I'd recommend to anyone! Easy to find, prices are great. I wished they shipped as I've moved out of state

Serious oysters here. Amazing. Can't wait to try more of their offering. I'd post pictures but I ate them too quickly.

We've had their fresh poke several times and our favorites are the spicy ahi and traditional ahi, and their mac salad is similar to what you can get in Hawaii. Chirashi bowl has a great selection of maguro, salmon, hamachi, shrimp, and egg, all over sushi rice. There's a great selection of fish and we appreciated them cleaning and scaling our branzino that came out delicious on the grill. Prices may be a little higher than other markets, but you can definitely tell you're getting top quality. No seating available to enjoy your chirashi or poke bowls, but plenty of parking. This place can get busy on the weekends so suggest you go early to get the best picks!

One of my first meals after moving here was a poke bowl from this spot! I've been here almost two months and have already visited at least 4-5 times - I've lost count, actually, but I know I'll be back for more. This is already on my place to go treat myself for my upcoming birthday. I'm now totally addicted to their salmon dip. The pricing is reasonable (please don't change), which is fantastic, and the staff I've encountered have all been very kind.

You can choose from a variety of fishes as well. They were pretty fresh and yummy. The guy working there was really nice. He had a lot of advice and suggestions. When I arrived their supplier had not yet arrived with the product, so the owner coordinated free delivery same day so that I could be free to go home and prepare for the dinner party. Experiencing their dry-aged fish Omakase offering in person this week was a reminder of why I enjoy purchasing from Local Market whenever I'm on the East Side. The owner Mark is incredibly knowledgeable, down to earth and willing to answer any silly question you may have. His passion for his craft is obvious, and this company deserves nothing but the best!

Companies such as Washington State Seafood located in Seabeck, WA over by the coast far away from the typical more populated cities in the Puget Sound have gotten creative with their selling methods. Off to the social media they went! In my case, I discovered them via an ad in Facebook. To facilitate distribution, WSS sets up different distribution "pick up" locations throughout the West Coast, primarily around state of WA, but recently extended to CA also. They also have mailing options too. The menus vary by date, pick up vs. mailing, depending on the availability and viable logistics. Thus far, I have had generic "shooters" oysters (that was the name on the website) and most recently had the Samish Pearls. I also placed an order for Purple Mountain shooters at a super duper deal of only $7.50 for a dozen! It's labeled as a 2 hour Bonus buy on the website. Score! The pickup process is very easy. Go to the location they identify (not always the same but somewhere in Seattle), give them your order number (name works too but they prefer the order number), they hand you the oysters in those stretchy mesh bags commonly used for seafood. You should bring a cooler or anything with an ice pack with you. At home, we use a shucking knife. Watch YouTube and learning to shuck to optimize your oyster eating experience. The most optimal way to shuck, we learned, is to wiggle the knife deep from one end to the next before lifting - preserving the briny water as much as possible! The taste - my oh my - it's SO FRESH! You're tasting the sea (in a good way) with every slurp of an oyster. Side note: We're simple when it comes to sauce, a squirt of fresh lemon juice and a squirt of tabasco sauce.
