The grilled cheese was outstanding--the bread was toasted to perfection with a crispy, golden crust, while the cheese inside was gooey, rich, lightly salted, and absolutely delicious. The Mariachi Mac & Cheese was equally impressive. It was creamy, flavorful and had a wonderful smoky spice that elevated the dish without overpowering it. After waiting a few months, I visited ChocMo for breakfast today and was excited to see the menu had changed to incorporate the waffles. The new ChocMo menu has deftly merged the L'Atelier waffles with their existing crepes, plus they offer other light fare like sandwiches, salads, soups, and pastries. My husband and I shared the savory "avocado toast" waffle and the sweet lemon and berry Liege waffle. Both were perfectly executed. The staff is also very friendly and efficient.
