This is a cute little shop on the Main Street in downtown. I was attracted by the sign that advertised smoked foods and I was looking for smoked salmon to take back to Dallas. Sure enough, I found vacuum packs refrigerated and unrefrigerated. There are also local jams, spreads, and dips. They have smoked cheeses. Also smoked oysters in can which I did not buy because at point my suitcase will get too heavy. The kid bought some honey sticks. There were a few free samples of smoked fish and cheese. There were other things to buy in the souvenir space but I did not pay much attention since I was mainly looking for food. The employees were helpful and friendly. I am glad that I found this place and it is worth a stop if you are visiting Poulsbo. read more

While visiting the area we walked around Front St and tripped into his place. Friendly people inside greeted us and provided samples while we explored the store. I already picked up smoke cashews after sampling the salmon and Gouda cheese. After sampling the smoked mixed nuts!!! OMG I'm hooked. Just order two more bags off of Amazon and two ordered from their website. Great find!!! read more

This place has cool local goods, and we bought two packs of smoked salmon that were delicious. The lady who helped us 5 mins before close was really nice. I also love that they have individual, lidded sample cups in the fridge for folks to try their salmon and cheese. read more

What a great find in Poulsbo. We love the city, and enjoy visiting. We were happy to find Crimson Cove and their great smoked foods. We purchased the black pepper smoked salmon, smoked cashews and smoked pepper Jack cheese. They are all wonderful. I'm not sure which we liked best. The nuts were so good with a real smoke flavor (not artificial like most common brands) and really different. The salmon and pepper jack were excellent, also. We will definitely be back when we visit again. read more

Lovely helper she was very nice and welcoming. Cute little shop, they have tons of little gifts and kitchen decor. From the outside it looks like they would only have gifts but they sure have a selection of seasonings , sauces and even wine ! I also really liked their jewelry im a sucker for jewelry and these ones are made with real flowers. Overall the shop was cute and lots of interesting things we walked out with a bottle of wine lol if you're by the area its worth a stop by. read more

I had the smoked salmon dip from this place and it was simply AWFUL!!!! First off, it's so overly high in cream cheese that it's hard as a brick and my crackers kept breaking as a result. 2nd, it's so damned SALTY that it's pretty much inedible!!!! And finally, the recipe they used to make their salmon dip is so poor, not only is the dip overly salty but it's virtually flavorless as well (except for the overpowering taste of salt, that is!!!) I've eaten a lot of smoked salmon dip in my life and this is by far, THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! Don't waste your money here with this salty, overpriced, salmon dip!!! Just go to a grocery store; you can't do any worse and it'll cost you half as much!!!! read more

When in Washington, you must get salmon!!! This is a great place to get smoked salmon! They have Poulsbo smoked salmon which makes the perfect gift for home since I'll be spending most of my time in Poulsbo! The man working at the small store (think his name was Chuck) was soooo helpful and answered all my questions about everything he sells! They sell cheese, salmon, nuts, and wine! I really love that they have samples for everything (except the wine). It's soooo helpful to make a decision with samples! I tried the smoked salmon and the Gouda cheese and both was super yummy! The salmon wasn't fishy at all and had a nice smokey flavor. The Gouda had the perfect smokey-ness! I wanted to get both cheese and salmon but the worker told me it needed to be refrigerated so it might not make it home. I decided on the smoked Poulsbo salmon. This is such a neat shop in historic Poulsbo! My husband and I wandered in to find something special for a get-together, and they definitely did not disappoint. From delicious wine pairings to special creations like cheese spreads, smoked cheeses, pastas and nuts, they have everything! My husband fell in love with their smoked salmon options. He was blown away by the quality and freshness of their products. Perhaps the coolest thing was this mulled cider they had on a small crockpot. It was refreshing to taste something like that before buying the ingredients and trying it out at home. The employees were helpful and nice, and they definitely took the time to work with us to find us exactly what we wanted. Day trippers add this to your list if you're visiting Poulsbo. Whoever it is that smokes the cheese and salmon does a mighty fine job. I've tried all varieties I've come across and they're all good. Some are better than others. The good news is that you don't have to go out of the way to find good smoked goodies. In fact, it is so good that a few drinking establishments in town sell his goods for drinking snacks. That's how I found out about this place. Once I heard about the shop, I went straight there.
