Holy cow what a find on our way to Victoria... we meant to get coffee in Kingston but missed and stopped here en route. I would eat here every day if I lived close - the coffee and pastries were divine (coffee cake + Ham & Cheese croissant). The folks are so friendly and the atmosphere cozy. We then made a special stop on the way home to have lunch - the turkey melt may have been the best I've ever had, and aim currently chewing the Reeces brownie. Stop here and thank me later

Wonderful food! The hash with the giant pieces of flavorful bacon was EXCELLENT. The breakfast burrito was also great. I had a white mocha with lemon zest, which was a game changer. I wish every coffee place served that combination. We sat outside on the very nice patio, which was surrounded by white picket fence and a gorgeous garden of flowers. It was a great experience.

This place has a little bit of everything! Their fried chicken sandwich is so scrumptious! The fried chicken is crispy and juice inside. We also got the chimichurri steak bowl...the veggies in this were so fresh! The steak and chimichurri had great flavors. For dessert, We got the pistachio cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, and chocolate pudding to go. And yummmmmmm!! I've never had a pistachio cheesecake so I was so excited about this...the pistachio flavor was subtle but just enough. The cheesecake itself was so creamy and fluffy at the same time! Chocolate pudding....yummm; strawberry shortcake...yummmmm. Everything was delicious. A must when you're in Port Gamble. It's cute, rustic yet modern inside. Although, i wish there were more seating. I feel like the space can be utilized more efficiently. There is seating outside, which we sat at. It was pouring rain and cold, so I also wish there were heaters. Overall, great experience! I'd come back to try more things!!

Don't skip this place! The food is top quality, delicious and fresh. Service was quick and friendly. The seating is minimal but there are additional tables outside. Not only is there a wonderful menu that changes every 6 weeks, they sell meat by the pound, cheeses and olives and have a variety of beautiful bakery items. For drinks they sell beer, wine and specialty non alcoholic beverages.

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Port Gamble. Love that the building is a converted old service station built in 1920. There is a walk-up coffee bar and restaurant. There are a few tables inside and picnic tables outside. The restroom is outside by the picnic tables. You order at the counter, given a beeper, then go retrieve your food. You're asked to bus your own table as well. This process ran smoothly and timely. We ordered their popular crispy chicken sandwich with pimento cheese and a piece of their raspberry cheesecake. The sandwich came with kettle chips or salad, or you could upgrade to potato salad. We opted for the kettle chips. The sandwich was good. Chicken cooked perfectly, and homemade pickles were good. I'm not sure what was missing, but it was surprisingly lacking flavor. Maybe in the batter or pimento cheese?! We're not sure. It was good, though. We would probably try something else next time. Their menu had many items that sounded good. Now, the raspberry cheesecake was a totally different story. It was absolutely delicious! We would would definitely order that again. Many of their baked items looked tempting. Overall, we had a satisfying first experience. We will definitely come back and try other offerings. Highly recommend.

First time visiting today and the place was clean. The counters were very organized and items were displayed nicely and it was very inviting. I like the self service option to order at the counter, find a table and bring back your tray when you're done. It was fairly busy, but Hannah took her time to explain to me at our table what items are popular on the menu and what she recommended. She made us feel very comfortable and made this experience amazing. We ordered the chimicuri steak with grilled veggies, ricotta eggs with toast bacon and fingerling potatoes. We also couldn't leave without bringing home chocolate croissant, chocolate chip cookies, pistachio cheesecake and pecan brownies. 9/10 would recommend this place. You won't be disappointed. Everything was delicious and we would definitely be back.

Amazing sandwiches We split two of the options as too many looked delicious. We had the Fried chicken and Ursula Major !! Then afterwards went in and bought some dessert and breakfast for tomorrow.

Yummy! Shocked to find someplace with such a variety and consistently good food. Prices are what you'd expect in a small town with limited resources.

Super friendly service, tons of incredible looking treats in the display case that make picking one (or in my case 3) really hard. Lots of seating on the inside and outside, it's loud but the vibrant small town, feel good loud. We ordered the poke bowl which was fresh and loaded with cabbage, avocado, rice and well seasoned tuna, the crunchy wonton strips added a nice textural change. Desserts wise, settled on the pb&j bar, lemon blueberry cake and spumoni cheesecake. The pb&j bar was a 10/10, not too sweet, tons of peanuts, dense with a good chew. The lemon and blueberry cake was moist, the homemade blueberry layer was sweet without being disgustingly so and the lemon curd was really tart (but I could feel very minor corn starch granules, so could have been smoother IMO), still super solid. The spumoni was my least favorite, it wasn't too sweet and the cheesecake itself was smooth but the flavors weren't super pronounced. Overall, great experience!

I went in and got the raspberry pana cotta which was to die for! I also purchased a slice of Stracciatella cake, which I haven't had yet but I know it's going to be amazing as well. Service was friendly. Must try if you're in the area!

The tables outside are set up to seat about 6-8, but you can easily share with another couple or small group if needed [which we did].

A great place to stop for snacks or a meal...good service & food. Be prepared for some lines & seating may be full when it's summertime or the weather is nice. Limited indoor and outdoor tables available. One bathroom just outside the back door [off the patio area].

The fried chicken is simply amazing (crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside), the best I've ever had! Located in the small town of Port Gamble. Great service, the gentleman taking care of our order gave a thorough intro on their speciality, and shared fried chicken sandwich is the one item that doesn't get swapped out. Needless to say, there's a great reason for that. Highly highly recommended if you're in the area. The dessert items here are all very stellar! Forgot to take pictures but take my words for it :)

It's still my favorite restaurant in the area. The best staff and some of the tastiest food served beautifully. I love just about everything on the menu even though they change their menu frequently. It's hard to fall in love with a dish, and then a couple months later, when you want it again, it's not there. However, they do a great job of bringing on new replacement dishes that are always excellent for the most part. I had their congee with pork belly and think it's actually as good or better than I have had at any Chinese restaurant. Butcher and Baker Provisions makes the best congee. I can feel it awaken something inside of me when eating it. It is healing! I also tried on their new menu the dish with the herring and potatoes. This I didn't like at all. and only took one bite and put it down. Had they used kippered herring or a smoked fish of any kind, it would have been extraordinary. But the herring tasted raw and overly fishy. Thus, the reason for me giving a 4 star review instead of my usual 5-star big thumbs up review . I am a super fan of the restaurant. I love hearing from Joe what's coming up on the future menus. His attention to customers is exactly what a patron looks for and deserves. Oh, and curbside pickup is awesome. Makes it so convenient

Such a nice surprise- not your standard roadside bakery foods (that and much more). Definitely worth the pull over.

I've eaten here twice now and overall the food has been really good both times. One thing that was definitely disappointing -- no french fries. Instead, burgers come with a bag of chips, which feels like a missed opportunity for a beach burger spot. The burger itself was decent, though the patty could've been better. What really saved the western burger was all the toppings and flavors that came with it. The standout for me though was the fish tacos special I had on a previous visit. Absolutely delicious and honestly one of those dishes you keep thinking about afterward. That special needs to come back permanently. Overall, definitely worth stopping in if you're near the beach and looking for a laid-back bite with a great atmosphere.
