I took my son here for his first official haircut last Thursday. Kayla happily took on my squirmy 16 month old with ease. She was very patient, and provided lots of distractions for him. I am thoroughly impressed with the outcome! They even made up a little certificate and attached an envelope with a clipping of his hair! NOTE: The location has changed! SureCuts is now next to Wells Fargo in Kingsland. Kayla and Susie have been cutting my boys' hair for a couple of years now. They both are reassuring to the boys who sometimes just don't want a haircut. Before the trimmers, they let the boys touch it and warn them that it will tickle and how important it is to stay completely still during that part of the haircut. They listen to what style the boys want and cut accordingly. We've been satisfied with each cut. I highly recommend for boys haircuts. Tuesday is $10 kids cut. read more

I am writing on my hubby's account. Prior to going here I explained the difficulties in coloring my hair and was suggested a specific person. First appt I again explained the issues with coloring my hair (highlights only) while stating the different strengths of peroxide. First color came out reddish, I do blonde. Second trip I had the name of the exact stuff my last hair Dresser used. She said she didn't have that but what she had works just as well. Red again, only worse as she didn't do highlights she did most of my hair. She the got the product from her boss to try and fix it. My hair now looks orange like the old sun in. I spoke with her and was going to give her another chance, her cuts are good, however after the almost 3 her process of being there I forgot to pay my husband's haircut. He went in today to pay, spoke with the owner and all she had was excuses like the pH in the water is different, etc. I will not go back. I was so willing to give this person a chance but the owner's attitude changed my mind. Oh and to boot this is my 50th bday and going out of town with no pics allowed.
