I agreed to the change which was irritating but let it go b/c they said gas prices had increased. They said my car would be picked up within a three day window. Three days went by, no pick up and they called to say within the next few days the car would be picked up. I had to follow up twice with the company and they never picked it up. Six days later the car was still not picked up and we canceled the service. They said they would return our deposit... we will follow up on that and hope they at least do that correctly. We had to cancel our airline tickets and ended up driving the car ourselves across the country. Their lack of professionalism and not doing a service they promised put us in a very difficult position. I do NOT recommend this company- they were apologetic but that didn't solve the problem. They did not provide the service that they lead us to believe they would do. I'm almost glad after seeing how unprofessional this business is managed, they didn't get our business, no telling where my car would end up if it even would! Be careful- this is a lot of money for such a poor service or lack of service as in our case!

Communication overall was very good (I called and it went to voicemail once, but received return call shortly thereafter), car-towing experience was handled professionally, and all done at a great price! I was curious why Yelp had three (3) "not recommended" reviews for Lumba's Towing and found that these 5-star, positive reviews were likely excluded because the user hadn't submitted a review before and it was relatively short, which doesn't make sense to me. So a customer, for the first time, feels so strongly about the great service received from Lumba's that he/she decides to leave a brief review to let others know about their great experience with the company... Then Yelp! buries it, likely because it's their first review and is relatively brief. I'm sure Yelp! has its reasons, but I want Lumba's to get the credit they deserve so I mentioned it in my opening line. I'm a big fan of Lumba's towing and the number is already in my wife and two teenage daughters' smartphone directory in case they need an emergency tow!
