Amazing place. BUUUTTTT. the mid-30yr old was a complete asshole. Also, the elderly gentleman (Phillip?), gray and dark hair didn't even want to talk to customers (we're annoying, apparently), another amazing gentleman ended up helping me. The elderly gentleman that is amazing, has a smallish silver beard. Find him, talk to not many other employees. He's knowledgeable and wants the best service for the customers. Fantastic location. It's quite a bit of 'organized chaos' inside the store, but all of the associates are kind and attentive to help you find whatever is needed. There are rare toys and hunting equipment not found in other locations. I would say this is a must visit location if you are looking for toys in Wenatchee, WA, highly recommended. read more

Ok if you don't like clutter then this is not the place for you. Literally wall to wall and in the aisle stuff. I love the fishing gear and the other sporting items they have it all! Most of the kids toys are cheap import stuff from China that breaks a few hours after opening it. Service is hit and miss. There is a grumpy guy who is at the register occasionally he acts bothered when you talk to him. I am told he's the owner yikes! Very little customer service in fact very little care for his customers. Know your price! Some items are wayyyy overpriced but most are pretty much the same price as everyone else. All said cool place as long as you don't mind the grumpy man and the clutter. read more

I've driven this route many times going over the pass but I never knew of the goodness of hooked on toys until I ventured over with a new group of friends. OMG. They have the best selection of a little bit of everything you've ever seen....from toys to toy guns to real guns to vehicle accessories seriously we bought yo-yos and a bungee cover for the bed of my truck...all in the same store. Huge all things outdoors store, you can probably find just about anything you are looking for, if it's related to: pleasure boating, camping, hunting. A fair amount of backcountry gear, but not much, lots of sizes of the varied color/sizes rope, a whole row! First time purchasing something there and felt ignored. Got gun cleaning kit and targets and was going to buy a small 9 for cc but just stood there looking with no one asking me anything. Hooked on toys is your one stop shop for all your sporting good needs. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that have all the answers combined with a selection of everything sporting goods make this your best choice. Parking is easy. The downside is the packed, somewhat claustrophobic tight aisles and poor lighting. But in order to have everything you have to make some concessions, right? Lol Be nice if they moved down to the old Food Pavillion building or something similar. However, that would probably put an end to Big 5 that's already in the same shopping center. Lol read more

Great products, terrible customer service. Everytime I've gone in it seems like this older manager/owner is in a terrible mood and annoyed by customers. I was in about a week ago and a different customer was returning a sleeping bag that the seams we're coming out on. It was clear it was still new and he had his receipt but I had to wait about 10 minutes to check out while he hassled this guy about their defective product. I'd rather spend a few more minutes to go to sportsman's Warehouse where they treat customers with more respect. read more

I was happy to see that this place is still rockin here in the valley. My father-in-law and I needed to find a few random items for a trip to the lake and of course, they had everything that we were looking for! The store is packed with rows and rows of stuff and definitely a lot of things that can easily be knocked over if you have kiddos with you or if you had a few beers before someone drove you there... so brace yourself! But really, this is a great stop if you need to get a couple items to juice up your trip to the lake or park. Go you guys! read more

Came in here to buy a $1000 gun. Well I left empty handed. They had the gun in stock but after trying to get through the crowd of people just hanging out at the gun counter talking BS. I finally get my hands on it and the guy behind the counter just starts to dry fire it over and over again. I go explore the store and gets out two isles away and you can hear him dry firing another random gun behind the counter amongst the same crowd of people. They clearly do not care about customer service. Plus I don't really wanna drop a bunch of cash on a new gun that some guy is just messing with all the time. I'll gladly pay more somewhere else for better customer service and a product that hasn't been abused. read more

Poor Customer service...Stopped in to explore store and was looking for a new gun. Stood at gun counter for 5 minutes or so, obviously looking at guns and neither one of the two guys behind the counter said anything to me. Best store ever! We were looking for a thrift store to buy some cheap snow gear and got lost, and we stumbled upon this amazingness while turning around in a parking lot. They have EVERYTHING! Not only did I get full snow gear for insanely cheap, I also picked up an awesome glow-in-the-dark puzzle and a couple of classic board games. They have tons of toys (for both kids and adults) and a huge selection of floaties - YES! I will definitely be back! read more

Great store with a huge variety and quantity of sporting goods and toys. They have great customer service with very knowledgeable staff. It can be a problem getting help at the gun/ammunition area because they are so busy. Would be nice to have another sales person in firearms. Their prices are very good on everything. read more

Hooked on Toys is a treasure chest for kids of all ages and they cover almost every interest from pools to Tonka Trucks to hunting and fishing supplies. They have toys I forgot about and apparently are still being made. Every time my family and I go in there it is difficult to not see something new and make a purchase. If you are looking for a hard to find toy come check out Hooked on Toys as they probably have it and if they don't they could probably find it. read more

After standing at the gun counter for five minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, the person 'helping' me seemed more annoyed that I interrupted the hunting story he was telling his coworker than anything. If I could write this review as zero stars I would do so. I have never written a single review pertaining to a business, especially a scathing one such as this. However, I felt so inclined because the service was that bad. I contacted hooked on toys to transfer a pistol from my stepfather. It took them 3 weeks to finally hook up with my ffl after I called every week to remind them to send him their info. Okay, no problem. He was able to ship the gun to Hooked on toys on a Friday. They said they would call me when it arrived. Thursday rolls around, and I'm curious, so I give them a call. Kane- the kid working the gun counters says " oh yea, that things been here since Monday". Okay? I proceed to go down there and fill out my paperwork. As I'm doing so, Kane proceeds to rack my pistol, and DROP it on the magazine. I asked him to not do so, because it's a 1,000 dollar pistol. He retorts with the comment-" a thousand dollar pistol should have a good enough coating that it won't matter". I decided to not say anything I would regret, and so I shut my mouth and filled out the paperwork. He said it would be ready for pick up in a couple days. So on Saturday I proceeded to call them and ask if it would be ready to pick up. Nope. Call next week. Okay. I call on Tuesday, the 28th of July. Yea, it's ready for pickup. I proceed down there on my lunch break. Turns out, Kane didn't read the paperwork correctly (recurring theme here). He said it would be ready tomorrow. So I burned a lunch, oh well. The next day, I call, and talk to Henry. He said "the gun was definitely ready for pick up, otherwise I wouldn't be telling you to come down here". Sweet, take lunch to go down there again. Henry proceeds to get everything in order, and then drops and oops, it's not ready yet. I'm frustrated, because there is absolutely no communication at all. I tell him that I think it's a little ridiculous that I've burned three lunch breaks trying to sort this out, and explain to him the situation with Kane the last week. He shrugs, doesn't apologize at all, and tells me that's just the way it goes. I'm pissed. I call the store owner. He is super apologetic, and tells me he will resolve it, and give me a call back. Nothing. So, I decide to circumvent hooked on toys and call the sheriffs office directly. She says it's ready ( mistakenly). I go down there, and tell them she had approved it. It was a mix up. Okay. She left me a message, and told me she was sorry for the mistake, and it would be finished Monday, Tuesday at the latest. Call there Monday. Nothing, and the same Tuesday. I get 3 missed calls from them Wednesday. Call back them back. They say, that they are refusing to transfer the pistol, because you filled out one of the forms wrong, ( and honest mistake) and because of my actions at the counter, as well as red flags from the county.They found a snafu and jumped through it because they were pissed I called the store owner. They then proceeded to tell me I was never Allowed in the store again? Wtf?! First off, the county approved the transfer. Secondly, they snafu of the paperwork was in front of their face for the entire week, and they perused it multiple times because they kept messing things up. They claimed that they didn't know. If that's the case, I'm curious If they are competent enough to transfer guns as they almost let someone who accidentally checked the accused of domestic abuse box take a pistol home. If you would like to spend money at a place with under qualified "professionals" that disrespect you and your property, please go to hooked on toys. Will regret it!! read more

I've been to HOT's many times and spent thousands of dollars there. Last spring I went in to get a last minute fishing item and at 15 minutes until closing time they told me they were closed for business. Glad Bi-Mart was still open!! This Summer I went in to the crowded gun counter and asked about a Benelli shotgun. I was told they couldn't tell me when I could get one or exactly what it would cost, but at least $1899.00. Got it a Sportman's Wharehouse for $1649.00. A month later went in to look at a Beretta pistol, again couldn't get to the gun counter. Sportman's Wharehouse, on sale!! Most recently I ordered a trolling motor and waited 2 months for it to arrive, only to have my wife charged more than I was quoted for the motor. When I called I was told the qoute included the factory rebate. I could have ordered the motor from the manufacturer's website and paid the same price but had two months earlier. I've had it with the we're the only game in town attitude!!!!! read more
