It would be nice if the store was open a little later for ice and such but not that big a deal really. Firewood was available about 1/2 mile down the road. Our granddaughters are having a nice time and have met new friends. This is good family camping. No frills, but fun and safe. Close to the Dells but not too close. We will definitely make the longer drive to come back here over closer places nearer our home. I booked because of the price, the pool, and the fair cancellation policy. I am so glad we came!

It is under new ownership, since 2014 and the new owners are remodeling and revamping the place.Some of the staff is new to camping but they are people people, so it all works out in the end. It has some of the lowest rates in the area even though the campground is 2.5 miles from Downtown Dells. The facilities are kept clean and the staff is quick to respond when an incident occurs. I highly recommend this place.

Pros: The cabin was a great size for the 4 of us and we had a loft area for the kids. The Store had a lot of good options for camping as well as souvenirs for our kids. The campground was also easy to navigate and proximity to water parks was wonderful. Cons: Our cabin was constantly damp feeling. Our bedding felt damp, our towels never dried and getting out of the shower and getting dressed was nearly impossible. The water had very low pressure and smelled rotten. They have "free wi-fi" that was slower than snails. There was a lot of dirt and debris on the floor when we arrived like it wasn't cleaned properly. When we're spending over $300 a night, I would just expect a cleaner, more well maintained dwelling. The price is outrageous for what they provide.
