The technician who measured the countertop as well as the installers were very professional. We have two issues with Progressive. First, a $50 Fuel Surcharge. The cost of a gallon of regular gasoline in the Northeast has decreased approximately .75 over the past two years. We do not understand their reasoning for the $50 fuel surcharge. Second, we were charged a considerable sum for Progressive to use a boom truck for delivery. We do not understand why the countertop could not be carried into our home. When our neighbor saw the countertop, he stated, "We could have carried the countertop into the house." If you select Progressive, we suggest you question the fuel surcharge and determine up front if a boom truck is needed and if so the associated additional cost.
