We easily communicated via text which is very important to me because I'm always on the go juggling dozens of contractors at once so it's so helpful when businesses can communicate in a way that works best for the client. The day of, I got texts of when the technician was on the way which was helpful. He was respectful, worked hours straight and my shower ended up looking brand new and far beyond what I could imagine it to look like. I was incredibly impressed. I do a lot of remodeling projects and I'll no doubt reach out again; they will be my go-to for sure. Highly recommend!

It took them 3+ hours. The finish is nice and shiny. I hope it lasts a long time. Our experience with Advanced Bathtub in 2023 was horrible. Technician D***** maybe had ADD focus issues. In any case, he worked fast and loose and skipped preparation steps. He mixed the epoxy paint wrong, probably too much solvent, such that the curing paint pulled up from inside corners, and retracted and split on horizontal countertop surface. Jeff kept sending him back to re-do, and he kept screwing it up. He worked without a ventilation fan. I'm not sure if he was more mental or more stoned from inhaling solvent. The paint is completely peeling up from the bottom of the tub 18 months later. Evidently the tub surface was not roughened enough prior to paint application. I don't know if the tech even cleaned the surfaces, much less roughened them. He painted right over dirt and dust on the tile.

I hired Eliab of The Good Tile to remove our 90s bleh kitchen floor tile, remove our backsplash…read moretile, and install over 300 square feet of new flooring tile plus new backsplash, and extensive accent wall tiling in the backsplash tile. My new floor tile has a pattern, and the backsplash tiles were 2.4" x 8" ceramic hand glaze ceramic tiles, and so neither would be easy to install unless the tile installer was very skilled. I thought the review photos on Yelp showed Eliab already has an extensive body of work done well, and I loved that he specializes in tile so I knew that he should be very competent at it. And he and his guys Salvi and Rafael were excellent! They worked hard and did very precise work. That was a ton of cuts and joints to line up perfectly with all that subway tile, and it looks wonderful. The cuts around light switches and power receptacles: also precise. He was as good as his word about showing up, doing it right, and cleaning up as they went. He earned my trust, was good to work with, and I would happily hire him again. I definitely recommend! I will post pictures for now as is - but keep in mind the construction is still going on so they will not look as great as they should. I'll try to remember to update our photos when the remodel is truly done.

You keep trying to reduce this to a "misunderstanding" about the plumber, but that is not what happened. You recommended and coordinated the plumber as part of the project, and the plumber stated that you already knew the correct rate. Yet I was quoted a lower amount up front, which made the situation feel like a bait-and-switch once the job was already underway. You cannot bring someone into the project, benefit from the job, and then act like his pricing and your communication had nothing to do with you. Your claim that you did not leave anything unfinished is also contradicted by the photos I uploaded. The kitchen tile work was not completed. That is not an opinion. That is visible in the photos. Your latest claim that you "only charged for what was carried out" is also misleading. I paid for the majority of the kitchen tile work, and the kitchen was still left unfinished. Saying you did not charge for the uncompleted portion does not erase the fact that I paid substantial money toward a job that you did not complete, then had to hire another contractor to finish. The most serious issue is that you were supposed to return the following week to finish the tile work and dispose of the tub. I texted you to confirm the schedule and materials. You did not return my calls. Then you did not show up. That is not a misunderstanding. That is a no-call/no-show. A professional business owner does not ignore a customer, fail to show up, leave visible unfinished work, and then publicly try to rewrite the facts. This was a horrendous experience involving misleading pricing, unfinished work, ignored calls, a no-show, and added expense. Homeowners should look closely at the photos and be extremely careful before allowing The Good Tile into their home or paying them for a project.

I contacted a man who only refinishes floors for businesses. He recommended Willie Adams. He came by aexplained the steps his crew would follow to guarantee a first rate job. Willie's son, Greg, and his granddaughter, Serena, made our floors look like new. Their removed and refinished the trim. They sanded the floors with a massive machine that vacuumed up the sawdust. They applied a coat of stain, another of a mixture of alcohol and water, and two of a commercial grade water-based polyurethane. Please see the photo. I'll list my experience below: -padded extra $400 onto quote for sink cut out and new sink which was not discussed during quote process. Luckily I saw that and purchased my own sink (also, they could've used the original sink too, so why add $200 without consulting with the client?) -added extra $40 onto granite removal charge. Quoted me $5/sq ft for removal. -cracked my backsplash and only offered $50 refund, and claimed "they're not responsible for damage" ...what?! -counter top came with scratches and scuff marks which they claim wasn't from them. It was installed in a new home where no one was living, and I saw it the day it was installed. Was definitely them -caused a leak when they removed sink, did not alert me to the severity of leak nor make any attempt to resolve it, which resulted in water piling up in my cabinet for a full day and ruined the bottom cabinets. -did not caulk countertop, so unnecessary open spaces between wall and countertop -damaged brand new cabinetry, also denied that. Sent pictures for undeniable evidence. This company is sloppy and they do not take responsibility for their shoddy work. I cannot recommend this company to anyone considering countertop replacement.

Originally we had the plan to update the kitchen during the pandemic, Amy came to my house to have everything measured, use 3D software generate the 3D model, made sure everything aligned what we wanted. We didn't pull the trigger due to many factors. The year after, we called Amy again. She came to the house, did the measurement, did the 3D model. We backed out again. This year, we called Amy again. She didn't say anything. Came over again, did the 3D model. We paid the deposit. Finally we started the project. During this process, Amy shows her patience, professionalism and attention to the details. Once the demolition and installation started, everything was organized in such a nice, efficient, and less disturbing way. The demolition was done in a day, and every trash was picked. Amy's husband, Victor, came to the house, with his experience and knowledge, discussed every details I need to think through - We removed two parts of the kitchen area so it brought some variations. He provided the options, respected my choice, and of course, with his knowledge about house remodeling trend, to make sure I have well-educated information. With his experience and knowledge, it increase my kitchen countertop's functionality and usage area. I can't thank him enough for that. U Granites & Cabinets are high quality. If you are not familiar with that market, you will get lost - just like me walking into Home Depot to look at those prebuilt countertop and vanity. I hired a general contractor who quoted me $14K for all demolition (kitchen and tiles) only. My total cost with U granite (Kitchen countertop, cabinets and demolition) is less than that number. I would be happier that you do choose them as remodeling partners because I know you are making the correct decision.
