1 Star - Avoid Surplus 4 All Like the Plague I've been buying from Surplus 4 All for a few years now, and it used to be decent. But lately? It's nothing but scams and disappointment. I bought a computer recently for around $300-$400. The listing clearly said "good condition, no missing parts." Total lie. It was missing the FX card -- a $1,200 component -- making the entire thing worthless. That money is just gone. Fast forward to today, I bid on what was supposed to be a $400 aquarium for a lizard, again listed in "good condition." After waiting three hours in line to pick it up, I get it home and it's absolutely trashed. Cracked, broken, unusable -- straight into the garbage. Surplus 4 All clearly doesn't inspect items or care about being honest in their listings anymore. If you value your time and money, skip this place. There are way better auctions on HiBid that don't waste your time and don't lie in their descriptions. Never again. read more

BUYER BEWARE. Bought / won a shower pan . I was on my lunch break when I went to pick up and i didnt get a chance to open box and inspect it , as i was in a hurry . When i got home , i opened it up and it had a crack from the flange to the base making it unusable and worthless . I checked the listing , no where on the description did it state it was cracked . Take long time to get your purchases. To slow is wait like 1 hour just to get 2 items.. very disappointing

I've been bidding on auction items here for over a year now and this has been probably one of my favorites due to their service. Once I had a bought a screen door and when I opened it, it was found to not be usable. I text them and they without any hassle allowed me to swap it out or refund. They also have some high end items too which I bought today and Steven helped get it in my car since it was so heavy. Great job Surplus4All! read more

The staff communicate so well! If something is missing, broken or mechanically not functioning, they have NO problem refunding or giving you credit! All the staff is friendly and very patient! I've got caught in traffic several times on pick up day, and the staff has been so kind to wait for me, knowing I'm traveling a distance! read more

Where should I start that anybody and everybody working there is in on the scam of lying to customers miss leading customers passing on to customers no good items. Where if u complain about the issue ur having and if ask to talk to a manager u are once again miss lead and lied and if make a big enough fuse based on facts it is considered tabu to ask for a manager and make a complain. First time I had a problem they didn't give me two tables where they said they did but I had a lot of things about $900 dollars of stuff and fact they don't give you everything if you have a big order I'll bring it out and orders or partial orders where and they'll tell you that you got everything and then when you double check, you're missing items.2nd bought a ping-pong table where the wheel the weld was cracked so couldn't set up the table. Ask for a new set was told to come pick it up next weekend on my next order so I was forced to buy more stuff get there and they don't have it emails and talking back-and-forth confusions and being BS came back another weekend bought more stuff so I can make it worth my trip because I'm coming a while away from Orange County and again I don't get it on the third try finally ping-pong piece for the wheel that I needed.3rd just a heads up all the chairs you're gonna buy, will be missing the main cylinder and wheels happened to me where I asked for the part they gave me the wrong part to the chair did not fit the chair that I had bought so I would have to come back again and again I would buy more stuff so I'll make it worth my trip because I'm coming from far finally get the right piece.4th time same issue piece missing for a chair and the screws back-and-forth being told that they'll have the pieces get there. They don't so I spent more money and effort the time to get there. It still don't have the piece finally second time try to give me the right piece and the screws.5th fifth and final straw another chair where I talked to Natalie I think that's the person when you call is gonna answer the phone not a very bright person misleading lying. Tell me that yeah for sure they have the part to come pick it up this weekend did not want to go all the way down there for no reason so I of course I spent more money to make it worth my driving all the way from Orange County down there get there they don't have the part, try to talk to her management was told that when I come to the warehouse, I'll have to talk to the receptionist to be able to get a hold of the manager and they were not giving me the name so back-and-forth called. They wouldn't answer my phone until I called called finally answer the phone finally get a manager on the phone manager, telling me I'm being disrespectful to his workers when his workers are lying and misleading and giving misinformation all that does not matter refund the money and then block me from high bid platforms so point of the story is these scumbags all they do is make you buy stuff give you items that if you don't check to the fucking every bit to the very screw if it is there or not you get screwed and have to take a loss so more of this story is, they just sucker you in to keep coming buying stuff promising you this and they're gonna get that and then the problems keep piling up on themselves to where you're taking hundreds of dollars and losses cause on their site where they supposedly describe the condition of the items they put the condition as unknown which means you're gonna have to buy it as is which is more than half their stuff that's on their website is describe like that. Be ready to lose a lot of money. Sit there and have to go through every single item you buy and have to check to the very last screw to make sure it's there. If not, you're just gonna continuously take losses and complain what they do they platform when they're wrong and harder money and time that you going back-and-forth with them means nothing so all they're worried about this company is just get your money and that's it so good luck and you'll figure it out 3 months of business I'm out. read more

Very upset with my recent experience purchasing a very expensive item from this auction house. This is not the first time an item from them was not as described and put up for bidding, but this is the first time I have actually gone through with a purchase and find that what I bought did not work when it was listed as new. Reaching out to the company is basically useless as they have an attitude like it's my problem now and they have offered no solution whatsoever. This is probably the worst auction house experience I have had and it of course had to be with an item I paid over $500 for. I usually have no issues when I purchase items at auctions, but only at this one have I started to second guess all my purchases. Please, save yourself a headache and use another auction house to purchase from as this one seems to not care about the customers bottom dollar since they list items as one thing and you get something that does not work. i bid 1 time on multiple items. then went about my day...almost forgot about the place till my bank account had multiple transactions. yippee. i win everything i bid on! only to discover, the items never arrived. these people have no problem texting u for another bid. i mean literally for reminder of *every new auction. but the dont bother reaching out to let someone no, hey u won every item u bid on, come get ur stuff. by the way, if u dont the next day? $20 per day per item for storage. so u better fly to so cal! they dont offer shipping! and fail to mention that on website prior to bidding nor in post for items u bid on. read more
