I'm so excited to be able to recommend Monica to anyone looking for someone to sell their estate…read morebelongings. As a realtor I am very picky with who I recommend for this task. Monica has shown great organizational skills and pricing knowledge for all of my clients things. She has a security guard on the premises and markets the sale throughout her data base so plenty of exposure. She is wonderful with the negotiation process and dealings with the buyers. We were able to sell a lot of items and she is even getting someone to clear out the house so we can clean it up and get it ready for a listing. She has a lot patience and is very pleasant to work with.

It was our first time having an estate sale, and she was very thorough in explaining the process and helped us be realistic of any expectations, espically with so many family members involved. She made everyone feel involved and taken care of. I was stunned by how fast she was able to stage everything and how organized it was laid out. She priced everything very fairly and was able to spot out the higher end items. She was accommodating enough to also let us put reserves on certain items. She even found money in hidden places and returned it back to the family. She was able to clear out 90% of our items and then coordinated a thrift and haul away for us and also had security on site. Her team is a great reflection of her kindness, hard work and efforts. She went above and beyond.

Just a heads-up--double-check what you're buying and make sure the price reflects what it actually…read moreis. I purchased what looked like an older framed print with a signature for $40. The seller even mentioned it could be a "Monet" and implied it might be worth something. I wasn't buying it to resell--I simply loved it for my living room. But when I got home and cleaned the glass, I realized it was just a photocopy, not even a lithograph. So he basically could have just charged me for the frame $5. Rip off. I enjoy collecting unique pieces for my home, so I'm not upset about decorating with it. My concern is that some items seem to be priced or represented as though they're more valuable than they actually are. I also overheard another couple in the garage looking at some car-cleaning supplies. They picked up a small sponge that was marked at $3, and they commented that it seemed way overpriced. Personally, I thought it was something that should have been around 50 cents. I noticed the same pattern with a lot of the smaller knickknacks--items that I would normally expect to see priced at four for $1 or around $1.50 were marked at $3 to $5 each. On a positive note, I did mention my concerns to the seller, and he was receptive. He said he was willing to discuss prices, negotiate, and make corrections where appropriate, which I appreciated. So if you stop by, don't be afraid to ask about the price--it sounds like there's some flexibility.

Rusty came over on our last day- I was so emotionally, mentally and physically exhausted that I had my partner at the time take over and work with him. He filled a truck load of things to sell and told my partner that he would get a comprehensive itemized list to him. My partner made the mistake of letting him leave the property without anything official signed- only a small deposit for "good faith". Not ONLY did Rusty NOT provide an official itemized list, he did not follow up with any communication, nor did we get a payout from documented sales made on any items. He sent over $200 eventually with no explanation- to get us off his back I think because my partner kept trying to follow up. The things he took in total were WELL over that value. When asked to return the items since this was going nowhere, he stated that he "generally does not return items". --GREAT, so now my father who doesn't have the mind or health to advocate for himself has been COMPLETELY screwed over. This whole ordeal was unprofessional, lacked due diligence, and care leaving us all feeling taken advantage of and ripped off in the midst of such a vulnerable time for our family. It's only taken me this long to write this review because I have not had the bandwidth to deal with this but this was not okay and people need to know who they are dealing with.
