Finishing a conversation face to face with someone who wants to support your business seems like the least a business can do when they have a lit up open sign and open doors. And here we are, 30mins prior to the start of the auction, and I still haven't been approved to bid. I am beyond furious. This auction house is sloppy with poor attention to detail. They don't reply to email in a timely manner. They don't carefully read their emails. They don't care if you are registered to bid or not. If you are a seller then you should beware that this auction house is not going to do their best to ensure that you get the best price for your items. If you are a bidder, then don't get your hopes up that you will be able to bid on the item you wish for because John Moran just doesn't care.

Even though they were still on their online portal to be sold. Out of 100 plus items they sent us a check for $300. These included Indian blankets, Victorian opera glasses, jewelry, furniture, and antique collectibles from all over the world as my grandparents were world travelers. it never sat right with me that they could not give me an itemized list of what was sold and what it was sold for. So I thought I should share my experience. The staff also seemed hectic, unhappy, and always referred me to the owner, even though he was only interested in our coins. I would go somewhere else.

I felt bad that it turned out to be both a hot AND humid day in Southern California. They had everything loaded up in under 30 minutes. Gentlemen were extremely polite and really did make swift work of everything. Price was extremely reasonable for all they had to move. Like I mentioned, just large, bulky items.
