I had been coming to Susan ever since I moved to Simi Valley about 5 years ago. I was a loyal client who recommended her business to my family, friends, and even strangers who complimented my brows. As of lately, it is very clear the priorities, customer service, and professionalism of the entire business has fell through the roof. I became sick of being upsold, filmed during services, and overall just another number on their calendar. My last straw was coming in for my scheduled appointment and both girls were on their phone. They informed me they are editing an instagram post and that it will only be another minute until they are be able to do my brows. I had not been acknowledged for 15 minutes, so I got up and left because I was going to be late for work. As the only client in the room, not being acknowledged for 15 minutes when there are two people capable of doing my brows sitting on their phones, was honestly so baffling to me. They texted me weeks later with an AI generated apology. As a business who claims to have "top-notch service...and professional atmosphere" (as per their website) this was very classless and ingenuine. Susan even went out of her way to remove me as a follower on her instagram As unfortunate as this is, these few experiences (out of the many) gave me reassurance that my time and money should not be invested into a businesses who doesn't prioritize or value their customers. Ok, for a 60 year old Hispanic man to get his eyebrows done, you probably need to put a gun to his head to get them done. But my wife comes here all the time and I decided to ride along. After I saw the way my wife is given the special treatment and they do such a wonderful job, I decided to do my eyebrows. And holy crap!! Wow. Worst eyebrow appt ever. First off I left with my eyebrows very uneven, hairs still needing to be threaded and way too thin in places.
