I got there 10 minutes early to get ready for my appointment. They called me in around 3h40 and went to the room and waited, waited till 4h15 or so when the doctor came in. No excuses about the delay, just plain and simple " please sit" (by the way, I sent my files from a previous appoitnment around 10 am today, so he could take a look). After back and forth communication, around 4h30 he said he needed to attend another patient while he was thinking about my case. All right....after 1h being there, it sounds fair right? Then around 20 minutes later he came in again and we came to a conclusion: I will have to wait a week to get my mold done. Then I asked him, do you think I can wait a week like these? He was silent.....anyway....Then we jumped to a fast solution and he said he would bring someone to give me price and so on....another 15 minutes and nobody came (even when I asked two times where was the person to give me pricing). I could hear the employees chatting in the hallway, but nobody came to speak with me. By 5h30 I decided to leave - 2h in the office and I left worse than I arrived. The office was pretty busy I must confess, but my experience was horrible. How would anyone like to stay 2h in the office with an emergency and leave empty handed to look for another dentist in the day after?

I felt that Dr. Bowen's bedside manner lacked empathy and professionalism. I would urge anyone who has a degree of self consciousness regarding their teeth to not utilize Dr. Bowen. She will likely leave you feeling worse than when you arrived. Dr. Bowen did provide some logical feedback regarding potential corrective actions, however, my distaste for the way she treated me outweighed my respect for her professional opinion.

Stoutland and Hayes were the ones that I chose because they were 1) location was near my home, 2) they did not rush me and I didn't feel pressured 3) extremely informative on what type of braces I would get/want. 4) Friendly and nice. 5) best price. I ended up getting my metal braces and it's been about 5 months so far and I'm seeing improvements with my teeth, I have 1 year and 6 months to go. I'm excited because every month, I get to see my bite being fixed and my gaps closed quickly because of the braces. All of the doctors there are gentle and never rushing when switching out my bands or wires for my braces. I also would like to say that Lisa, the front desk woman, is great!!! I usually need to make a new appointment every month because of my job schedule and she helps me with that. I feel bad that I need to change the time/dates 3 times a month to work with my working schedule. SO I do appreciate everything she does. Parking is easy and you can park in the back of their Ridley office. They also have another location in Chadds Ford and they have a huge parking lot too. The Ridley location always has discounts/ games that you can play to win stuff. Just check their website. .....All that said, I'd definitely recommend anyone to come to Stoutland and Hayes.

My son and I both got Invisalign from Tenbrook. I personally would not recommend them. Their…read morewebsite brags about four locations, what they dont tell you is that there are only a few orthodontists and each location is only open 1(mine) or 2 days a week and the two orthodontists play musical offices. I ended up doing it because my son was doing it and I had one tooth on my bottom row that was being crowded back. The process began in May. I was seen there every 6 weeks or so and was seen there on the 3rd of October, at which time they ordered a new set of Invisalign trays (my third) which takes six weeks to come in. So basically you are expected to wear a single set of clear Invisalign's for six weeks until the next set comes in. I was called out of town for work and missed my next appointment, which was November 14th. Even though I called them to let them know and responded to their many email reminders I received no call back or feedback until after my scheduled appointment date. At which time I was notified they could see December 12th, 10 weeks after my last appointment. They are expected me to wear the same invisalign tray for these 10 weeks. Keep in mind these trays are clear when new, not after 6, 7 or 10 weeks. Not only would I not recommend them because they are severely understaffed, and not very good at monitoring their email reminders or voicemail I would also not recommend invisalign. Invisalign is poorly designed logistically. Each tray set (roughly 12 sets) has a 6 week gap between the sets, at which time your teeth are not being adjusted. It seems odd to me that they dont make a decision half way through a set of trays and order the next set, that way there is no gap in the alignment process. My wife is considering Invisalign, I will recommend against it and Tenbrook.
