Recently we had our Bichon "Sunnie" become seriously ill and Dr Spreat cared for her very compassionately.

I had consulted my vet about this previously but they did not have the proper equipment to offer an ultrasound for my ferret. On her first visit, I expressed my concerns and provided previous paperwork for piper. After this, they took her in and performed unnecessary (unauthorized) x-rays and provided medication. They explained AFTER taking her back that they did not give her the ultra sound because the tech was not available that day, they instead gave her an x-ray without even consulting with me about the cost or giving me the option to come back when the ultrasound tech was available. Due to their negligence, the medication theygave her made her extremely sick, even more dehydrated and weak to the point that we had to rush her back in for emergency IV fluids the following day. Still, no ultrasound was given. Piper is still suffering and it delayed her recovery significantly. We had to take her back three different times over the course of three days. Given that we don't live close and are about 40 minutes away the stress of traveling back-and-forth, along with improper care, and misdiagnosis from the ER doctors and other staff members put unnecessary stress on my already sick ferret, Piper. This facitily seems to be more worried about making money instead of helping their patients. Likewise, in total with all three vet visits, we paid over $1800.00, and at this point I'm just praying that she makes a full recovery as soon as possible. PLEASE BE WEARY about taking your animals there and if you do make sure you get an estimate before they do any procedures and also make sure that the procedures that they are doing are actually medically necessary.

They also provided us with there contact phone number and also an emergency number after hours which I used. My call was returned in less than 10 minutes and everyone I spoke too was so nice, kind and accommodating. The inside of the facility in Carlstadt was nice, neat and clean and very presentable. Eddie was so caring, gentle, respectful, and just amazing in every way. He made us feel warm and welcome when we came for our appointment. He explained the process and answered all our questions. He then brought us in to see our dog "Valentine" who was so beautifully laid out. Eddie gave us all the time we needed in private to grieve. He was so very kind and made us feel very comfortable. Eddie called us a couple hours later to inform us the ashes were ready. They were presented so beautifully and the engraved label was perfect. Eddie exceeded every expectation I had for the entire process. I feel so grateful to him for showing us such kindness in our final goodbye to our fur baby. Thank you Pet Meadow and thank you Eddie for the best possible experience in such a difficult time.

I went into the office when she was having a seizure and he just stood there and I screamed at him fucking do something! This place is no good but I hate to say there are a couple of vets that are just no good! I then went to Nottingham animal hospital which I can't even say what I want! A third vet I took my cat too and within two seconds they found a 4-in tumor under her tongue and she had to be put to sleep. I called Dr Patel at Deerwood animal hospital on nottinham way to tell him about the insulin and the findings and he had the nerve to say I complain complained about not having money!! These screwed up vets should lose their license because they don't care about the animal they just care about their damn pockets!! I sure do miss Dr Solomon who used to be where Deerwood animal hospital on nottinham Way. I worked for him for years and they're was nobody better!! One more thing that picture that they show isn't even the place it's a different Deerwood animal hospital and is not as nice as they are showing. I winter is Dr Patel used to work in this one?

There are several things going on in this office that are against the law. The state of nj is now involved and we have pictures to prove this case. How dare you question our Rescue. Jazzy was only left at that office while Michael left to pick me up. After Jazzy had surgery at CCVH they found her uterus adhered to her bladder with pus inside. Plus our second dog Diesel had an infection from it's scrotum, to his leg to his whole left side. His scrotum actually burst and the vet thought that wasn't an issue. Dr Patel used cruel treatment to attempt to treat him. He was sticking him with eighteen gauge needles with no sedation on a daily basis. Forcing Diesel to deal with this horrible pain. His vet techs allowed this to happen. All other vets have agreed he did not give proper treatment to either dog. Why would u transfer to Northstar? Your a vet who spayed the dog which was now hemorrhaging in your office? Then leave the rescue agency with all the bills? I think it's your ethics that are the issue. You should be ashamed of yourselves! If your going to post a response make sure it's the full truth! We will continue to advocate for these two dogs!

Why, you ask? Because our daycare package ran out last week, and per usual, we were going to buy it the next time we attended daycare. Unbeknownst to us, they were canceled out of the party, without even a phone call. Lucy and Ethel have been going there 4-5 days per week since they were puppies for almost 8 years now, except during our trips. Why would today be any different? We called and made sure we were rescheduled for the Mardi Gras party, and now we're told it's full and they can't go. This is how they treat their long time loyal customers. We've been consistently buying 30 day packages for almost 8 years, when they first opened their doors. Time to checkout K9. We heard they have a pool. #Feelingdisappointed #Feelinghurt

Not every boarding facility gave me access to the back areas for the tour but GP did and I was so appreciative. One of our dogs is very sensitive to being in a kennel environment as he was sent to the shelter multiple times before we adopted him. Golden Paws is nothing like a kennel; it's clean and beautiful and the noise level is very moderate from other animals and nonexistent from door slamming and other chaos. They are also flexible and allow us to have one dog in day care while one gets solitary play and the other two see each other. A lot to keep track of I'm sure! But they did take a very extensive intake on food, behavior, etc. before their first stay and always ask if I need to update. My only hesitancy when boarding is that they leave at night but I do trust when they say they have good system monitoring and someone nearby in case of an emergency. Every time we come back they recognize our dogs and are ready to take excellent care of them. Thank you Golden Paws!

Our dogs can be quite challenging as they don't all get along with eachother but Amy takes it all in stride. The first time we booked Amy, one of the dogs had an unplanned surgery a few days prior to our trip. Our dog Nugget had staples keeping her surgery site closed and she was on pain meds and antibiotics. Nugget needed to be kept separate from the others and was essentially on bedrest. Amy did a fabulous job with Nugget! Nugget's staples all remained intact and Amy was completely comfortable giving Nugget her daily meds. Amy took great care of all the animals both times. Exceptional support and genuine care -- ARC with Love truly puts the dogs first…read more Our experience with ARC has been nothing short of compassionate and supportive. From the very beginning of our adoption journey with our puppy Rio, the team was incredibly responsive, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure both the dog and our family were comfortable. As first-time puppy parents juggling full-time work and kids, we had moments of overwhelm and uncertainty. ARC -- especially Louise -- handled every question, concern, and even our emotional back-and-forth with grace and understanding. Whether it was guidance on feeding, vaccinations, behavior, or just reassurance during anxious moments, they were always there to help. What stood out most was how deeply they care about the well-being of their dogs. Their priority is clearly to ensure each puppy goes to a safe, loving, and committed home -- and they take that responsibility very seriously. At the same time, they showed empathy toward us as a family trying to do the right thing. Thanks to their support and encouragement, we were able to work through our initial challenges and confidently welcome Rio into our home. We are so grateful for ARC with Love's dedication, transparency, and heart. If you are considering adopting, know that ARC with Love will walk alongside you every step of the way -- with honesty, kindness, and the dog's best interest at heart. Highly recommend!

The last part she made up about me referring friends and family to her. I'm disgusted with this situation. More so that a woman takes advantage of poor innocent animals to make money. No one drives from MA to NJ to adopt a dog,, spends $895 on one and just decides for no reason to bring the dog back 400 miles there and 400 miles back. Please, just do your homework on this woman and notice she adopts 90% cute little puppies and kittens.
