Recently we had our Bichon "Sunnie" become seriously ill and Dr Spreat cared for her very compassionately.

Originally on Friday 8/7 I had rushed my 2 year old Holland Lop rabbit, Basil, to NorthStar Vets…read moredue to what I was concerned was GI Stasis (An extremely dangerous and fatal condition) due to her behavior and lack of eating/drinking/bowel issues. Luckily once they brought her back for triage, she began eating some lettuce which made me so relieved as I was extremely worried about her condition. So we did take her back home to monitor her condition and scheduled her a follow up appointment, and thankfully she resumed her normal demeanor and was back to eating and drinking normally. Today, Sunday 8/9, we brought Basil back in for her follow up/general well visit and I cannot sing enough praise for Dr. Amanda Steinagel! She did such a wonderful job helping us figure out what may have caused Basil's episode this past Friday and provided a wonderful treatment plan to hopefully avoid the situation from happening in the future. We were even sent home with some medications, just in case it were to happen again, so we now at least have something to try at home before we rush her back over if it were to worsen. She was extremely professional and kind, and everything was explained very clearly! She was genuinely so amazing, I cannot recommend this place enough especially if you are looking for a rabbit savvy veterinarian. I look forward to continuing Basil's care with this practice and I am so grateful we found them!

From check-in to check-out, everyone was kind, compassionate, and amazing with my rabbit, Mr. Binky. Dr. Lindsay Wilfong was incredibly thorough, never made us feel rushed, answered all of my questions, and explained everything clearly. She even emailed a detailed report with additional information afterward and gave me her email in case I had more questions. That level of care is truly above and beyond. The hour-and-a-half drive was absolutely worth it. Thank you to the entire NorthStar VETS team for making us finally feel informed, supported, and hopeful. Five stars isn't enough!

He was a runt of a litter and was 10days from turning 1yrs old with his siblings and mama . Just when we thought he was getting better from his virus and we were finally over the mountain he started eating and drinking. He passed away at home suddenly. He went to nap and never woke back up. I never dealt with a dog passing away before. Especially one of my own. I couldn't think straight. The veterinarian Hospital placed us in touch with Pet Meadow. They treated us with so much respect, ,compassion , kindness & empathy. They helped with every step and decision. I even had my husband with me in case I was to emotionally upset to make proper decisions. I was very pleased with them. They went above and beyond. Sadly my oldest dog has passed away this morning June 8th, 2025 . Clyde is 15 years old and fought cancer and other health issues. He led a fulfilled life . We rescued him when he was 2 with his mama . He was my first dog ever . A pure Bread Beagle. He gave us so much joy and happiness. I have not stopped crying since he passed away at home this morning . We immediately called Pet Meadow and we are receiving the same awesome treatment as a few months ago . Tomorrow he gets cremated. We all have our own experiences and I'm not trying to put anyone's opinions down during such devastating loss in their life . I'm sad to hear how disappointed you were and wished to see all reviews top 5 stars . My hearts are with you all . No matter good or bad reviews. Grief and loss of a fur-baby is horrible. Thank you Pet Meadow for your positive experience with me . Hoping tomorrow brings us another positive experience too.

Three weeks after they received my pet's remains they called asking if I wanted any keepsakes. I returned their call saying I did not want any keepsakes and asked when the ashes would be ready. I was told 10-14 days is their timeframe. I pointed out my pet has already been there for 3 weeks. I was told they would prioritize my pet. The only thing worse than having to euthanize your pet is learning their remains have been hanging around the crematorium for three weeks all because I didn't purchase any keepsakes. The lack of sensitivity is overwhelming.

I went into the office when she was having a seizure and he just stood there and I screamed at him fucking do something! This place is no good but I hate to say there are a couple of vets that are just no good! I then went to Nottingham animal hospital which I can't even say what I want! A third vet I took my cat too and within two seconds they found a 4-in tumor under her tongue and she had to be put to sleep. I called Dr Patel at Deerwood animal hospital on nottinham way to tell him about the insulin and the findings and he had the nerve to say I complain complained about not having money!! These screwed up vets should lose their license because they don't care about the animal they just care about their damn pockets!! One more thing that picture that they show isn't even the place it's a different Deerwood animal hospital and is not as nice as they are showing. I winter is Dr Patel used to work in this one?

There are several things going on in this office that are against the law. The state of nj is now involved and we have pictures to prove this case. How dare you question our Rescue. Jazzy was only left at that office while Michael left to pick me up. After Jazzy had surgery at CCVH they found her uterus adhered to her bladder with pus inside. Plus our second dog Diesel had an infection from it's scrotum, to his leg to his whole left side. His scrotum actually burst and the vet thought that wasn't an issue. Dr Patel used cruel treatment to attempt to treat him. He was sticking him with eighteen gauge needles with no sedation on a daily basis. Forcing Diesel to deal with this horrible pain. His vet techs allowed this to happen. All other vets have agreed he did not give proper treatment to either dog. Why would u transfer to Northstar? Your a vet who spayed the dog which was now hemorrhaging in your office? Then leave the rescue agency with all the bills? I think it's your ethics that are the issue. You should be ashamed of yourselves! If your going to post a response make sure it's the full truth! We will continue to advocate for these two dogs!

Lucy and Ethel have been going there 4-5 days per week since they were puppies for almost 8 years now, except during our trips. Why would today be any different? From the very beginning of our adoption journey with our puppy Rio, the team was incredibly responsive, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure both the dog and our family were comfortable. As first-time puppy parents juggling full-time work and kids, we had moments of overwhelm and uncertainty. ARC -- especially Louise -- handled every question, concern, and even our emotional back-and-forth with grace and understanding. Whether it was guidance on feeding, vaccinations, behavior, or just reassurance during anxious moments, they were always there to help. What stood out most was how deeply they care about the well-being of their dogs. Their priority is clearly to ensure each puppy goes to a safe, loving, and committed home -- and they take that responsibility very seriously. At the same time, they showed empathy toward us as a family trying to do the right thing. Thanks to their support and encouragement, we were able to work through our initial challenges and confidently welcome Rio into our home. We are so grateful for ARC with Love's dedication, transparency, and heart. If you are considering adopting, know that ARC with Love will walk alongside you every step of the way -- with honesty, kindness, and the dog's best interest at heart. Highly recommend!
