The reasons being: High quality work, very fair (in my opinion; $20 for pant hem [August 2022]) price points, and great customer service! In my experience, turnaround is less than 2-weeks. Their new location is tucked behind a car detail, so you might miss it. Be sure to drive slowly and use your navigation. They are open only on weekdays, so make time in your schedule. I turned to my trusty Yelp and found Sylvia. She was very pleasant to deal with on the phone and I connected my wife with her to set up an appointment. She said she'd be able to meet the three day deadline and asked $40 for the job after meeting with my wife where she explained how she wanted the garment altered. Fast forward to delivery and it just wasn't quite right. Specific alterations my wife had requested weren't done to her satisfaction.. some weren't done at all. I'm no seamstress but I do sew a great deal in my profession. First off the margins were uneven and there was an unnecessary amount of double stitching. I think the main complaint was the color of thread the original designer used was red on a red garment. Sylvia used orange which was unnoticeable in pictures but not to the naked eye. For $40 for the minor alterations requested it should've been flawless or at the very least the instructions of the customer should've been followed to a T and the matching thread color should've been used.
