I have eaten tons of sushi on the west coast, and I have to say that Sushi and Thai do not even taste like sushi! The meat quality is low, the sushi cucumber tastes like dirty water, and the rice has a weird texture compared to other places. I would come to eat here because it is cheaper than other places, but the management was coarse with me because I could not finish all my sushi. I was going to vomit if I continued. Sorry, I didn't eat all my sushi, but you did not have to be rude. I absolutely love sushi also. Please be nicer to your customers. read more

4 stars for lunch hour, 2 stars for supper time. Have been here many times at this point and for lunch hour the price is reasonable. Also having three kids it's really nice having the accessibility of the iPad to order things at the table. Why I'd give supper 2 stars is because the price increase is crazy for only adding a few extra items, you don't get anything extra special or anything but the price tag jumps around $10 higher, I just see no reason for that apart for a money grab. read more

One of my favorite places. The service is fine.. Who cares if a waiter doesnt smile.. The food is great, portions are small and made to order. You can order as much as you like and as many times as you like. The value is actually very good, especially during lunch. read more

I'll be honest, S&T is the worst sushi restaurant in Medicine Hat. Food wise,the rolls are poorly made, the deep fried items with batter have way too much batter on them and taste of just oil, and nothing tastes fresh. But by far, the worst aspect of S&T is the service. The servers are the least personable people I have had to interact with at a restaurant, they're slow, and they don't return to you when you ask them to double check on your food. Food service in general is also bad. It's an all-you-can-eat restaurant, except you will NOT be served everything you order. I ordered maybe a dozen things, and I got 5 dishes. Sat for an hour and a half for 5 dishes. Sweet. I really do not recommend anyone eat at this place. read more

A waste of time. The food was okay, but they have a really weird operating system. The portions were very small and they serve it with big gap in time frames. For example, we ordered four dumplings and they brought two on a plate at a time 25 min apart. The servers are really awkward and they don't say much, they don't introduce themselves, converse with you at all - they don't even ask who ordered what. They just kind of throw the food on the table and let you sort it out yourself. We asked one of the servers what it was that he had just placed on our table, he replied very quickly and said "beef" and walked away before we could say anything. Honestly you could go down the road and eat at Edo Japan for a much better tasting oriental meal with friendlier service and it would cost you a third of what you'd pay at this place. Good food, absolutely horrible service. Not worth it. My boyfriend got his order quickly and they seemed to forget mine all together. I ordered a sweet potato tempura roll and they never brought it out. After I asked about it, someone came and slammed down a small plate of sweet potato tempura on the table. When I finally got the attention of a waitress to tell her it wasn't what I ordered, she did bring out my roll. She brought it very quickly as if it had been sitting there forgotten. We heard other patrons around us complaining about not recieving their orders. The staff was overall unfriendly and uncommunicative, and we felt very unwelcome. read more

Serves was good. Ordered chicken wings and was told they were cooked when it was still pink inside. Went to the manager the next day and he said it was from the soysauce and garlic pouder they used thats why it looked pink. read more

This used to be my favorite place to eat because of so many varieties. Food is good, don't expect the same for service though. The servers rarely smiles or gets each persons order right. One entree is served every 15-30 minutes. Literally eat before coming because you will be hungry. For the price and tips, this isn't even worthed. Unless you have a lot of patience and not hungry then this works out for you. Oh BTW they have so many negative reviews in Google reviews that they took it down. Thank goodness for Yelp. read more

I went in with a friend to have supper and we both ordered. When we got our food the lady that was handing us our food had given me my Won Ton Soup and had spilt it all over my pants/shirt and had burned me. My shirt was wet, my pants were soaking and the hot soup seriously hurt. We had to leave so I could change out of my dirty clothes. It ruined our experience and we were both disappointed. It used to be my favourite places to bring friends who haven't tried their food but after that incident I will not be bringing my friends there anymore! read more

Love this place! Food is fresh and made to order. All you can eat for $25!! You can't go wrong. Our service has been great with every visit. We usually go as a group and food is on our table within 10 mins and they keep bringing the food every 10 mins or as we order. We usually have about 4-6 people with us, all order 3-5 dishes to share family style and are all very full when we leave. Great job! read more

I never write reviews but left today quite upset and disheartened. Food is ok, service is horrible. I had to wave down the waitress to take my order after waiting forever. They were not busy and standing around. I had to repeat over and over the items I was choosing from the menu....the waitress messed up on one of the items by bringing me 24 pieces of sushi and I ordered 3. When I said I could never eat all of that and told her she made a mistake, she argued with me and told me I ordered what she brought, pointing at a similar sushi roll on the menu....i was so frustrated, she spoke English, but did not seem to understand me when I ordered.......another waitress came to my table and took a plate away before I was finished. I asked her for a "to go" container for the monster amount of sushi I could never eat by myself and I was told NO and that they don't allow take out and that it would be taken to the kitchen. What are they doing with it? It was their mistake? I didn't want it to go to waste but whatever at this point. Perhaps they will re-serve after my fingers were on it, or eat it themselves, or throw it away rather than let me take it home. Remember, I didn't order this to begin with. No one smiled, asked me how my meal was....the first waitress came to my table when i was done and asked me if I was having lunch or supper...i walked through the door at 2:20..I thought it was a weird question but I replied breakfast, I haven't eaten yet today. I did not realize that pricing was time sensitive. She said it's almost 3 pm, it's supper time! I was stunned and didn't understand, but ok, still not understanding why this waitress is mad at me for calling my meal "lunch. The second waitress brought my bill and said, I charge you for lunch...lunch pricing is until 3:30 "she's new" referring to the first waitress. No apology, nothing.......i did not tip and left extremely upset........i almost felt bullied by the first waitress and definitely unwelcome. I will never go back. read more

This has to be the best Sushi place in the Hat and vicinity. The all you can eat menu has something for everyone. The coconut shrimp is a must if you go for the dinner menu. There are many choices ranging from fresh Sushi to a big favorite tempura shrimp. read more
