I went here to lunch with family. They had a baby high chair for my son. They had lunch bento options which were filling and affordable. Good appetizers and sushi. I got the Chicken Katsu Bento Box. Fresh, delicious and beautiful!!! First time eating here. We've tried a few sushi restaurants after moving to this area from the west coast, and this is one of the best! The staff was so friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Quaint, clean and stylish decor. The only thing I would change would be to add some ambience music. It's a smaller restaurant and we could all hear each other talking. The food is TOO GOOD for that tiny thing to keep us away though! Very pleased!! read more

my family went there for dinner last night. we got there about 5:00 and we were the first people in the door and first people seated. the place filled up pretty fast within 10 minutes. we were the last ones served and the last ones to have our order took. we ended up paying $75 for two males and the kids plate. the portions are very small. we came home and all of us are sick and have the bubble guts. read more

I love coming here for dinner when I'm in town. The staff is warm and welcoming as service and food is fresh, prompt and thoughtfully prepared. Usually I have sushi rolls, but also enjoy their salads and hot dishes as well. On this visit I had the spicy tuna salad, which was bursting with flavor and just right amount of heat. What a great place! We tried it out with a group of 12 on a Sunday afternoon and the service was excellent. Everyone was happy with the variety & flavors of the sushi we ordered. The atmosphere is best described as simple and relaxed. No funky chairs or low lighting, which I was pretty thankful for since we had been at Bennett Springs all day and our gathering was spur of the moment. Ordered the teriyaki Lunch box and the spicy tuna roll lunch portion which came with miso soup as well. The box had 4 pc California roll, fried rice, teriyaki chicken on a bed of teriyaki covered shredded greens. All of the flavors were great with the exception of the salad dressing which I personally did not care for, others might disagree. The chicken was tender and well cooked. I base the largest part of my opinion of a good sushi restaurant around how good their seafood and eel sauces are, and this place has great sauce with no up charge! Definitely the best sushi place north of Springfield that I have been to! And this place is right off the highway which makes it a quick stop for travelers on I-44. read more

Either this place has gone down hill or the previous reviewers have never had good sushi. The fly in my tea was a BAD start. The miso soup was very good. I had the teriyaki salmon, spicy Alaska roll and spring rolls with a salad & rice. Sad thing is the salad was the highlight! My wife had the tempura shrimp with the Glenstone roll, crab Rangoon, salad & rice. Very very common. Normally even when we don't care for a place the first time we will give it a 2nd chance. Before Sushi House, Lebanon, MO was majorly lacking in any kind of cultural diversity on the cuisine scene. I've only been around here for about 2 years but it definitely irked me. After being plagued with limited choices like Applebee's and Fast Food it was refreshing to see this place pop up. I've gone at least 2x a week for lunch since shortly after it opened.
