I would say Sushi Land is more of a 2.5, but I'll be nice and give a 3.
Don't get me wrong - it's not a bad establishment, it is just extremely unimpressive.
Ambiance:
Located at the base of a corporate building in South Melbourne, Sushi Land looks as much of a high class sushi bar as it gets. They even have an attractive blonde woman as the server.
Customer Service:
Not bad, they're relatively nice and everything like that.
Food:
Here's the main problem with Sushi Land... they just do not have much options available. Contrast to most sushi places that at least have seafood inaris or something like that, every time I come to Sushi Land there are only a few rolls on display and some boxed sashimi. I normally go for the Cooked Tuna Rolls at 2.50 a pop.
Average prices, average food, with not much of a selection.
They have a lot of potential seeing as how there aren't many other decent sushi places in the area (at least that I've seen), but they could definitely do some more with that advantage. read more
