This was my first time at a teppanyaki believe it or not! I had only ever seen this in movies and…read morehad no idea that it's actually a resto style called teppanyaki. We were seated in the semi private area which has two tables and can accommodate 16 people comfortably... Maybe 2 more if you squeeze a bit. Drinks: I decided to embrace the unique experience by ordering a Ramune pop where you have to punch down a glass bead so that you can pour the soda. It's served into a glass with a lime flavored popsicle to give it extra flavor. Ordering: the way the menu works is that everyone gets the same things included with their meal. The only thing different is the protein ordered. - Onion broth: thin but oh so packed with umami flavor! - Salad: pretty good with light vinaigrette - Mushrooms: mmmhh fried and covered in soy sauce - Shrimp: delish and drown it in the tangy dipping sauce - Mixed Veggies: helps balance all the meatiness - Addictive ground ginger soy sauce: can eat this with everything! - Tangy chili sauce: love the flavor - Bowl of rice - Orange creamsicle ice cream: yay for ice cream! - Cup of Jasmine tea: wash down all that flavor The meats: with 3 choices of beef from least to most expensive--Beef Samurai, Sirloin, Filet Mignon. I went middle of the road with the sirloin but was able to taste the filet mignon off my friend's plate. Conclusion: filet mignon cut up in cubes had a rich beefy flavor that comes from the fat in the meat that is seared. It's really good, super tender and juicy. The sirloin also cooked and cubed has a flatter taste but still really tender and delicious. If budget is not an issue, go with the filet mignon, your taste buds will be singing! Staff was friendly and polite. The cooks, depending who you get make their own jokes to entertain you while cooking. Our cook did this knife flipping thing with his chef's knife into it's holster several times like it was nothing. I could just envision myself trying that and losing fingers and toes in the process!!! Overall, it's just a touch pricey but I loved the experience! We were all very satisfied. It's good sized portions guaranteeing that nobody will leave hungry. The place filled up by 6pm where every table was occupied. I will go back again!

Nice cozy place good for a group of 8 to share a live Teppanyaki station but they can do better on…read morethe entertainment side especially with their Cheff acrobatics

This is the best AYCE Korean BBQ joint in west Island and I believe the only one!…read more It has a beautiful rustic charm it looks like a beautiful chalet and as soon as you walk in it feels very cosy and homey! We came in without a reservation and they made us feel welcome! We got checked in and vetted with all the covid rules (vax pass and sanitizer first) and got seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive and very sweet. She showed us how to order online with our phones. Very interesting system ! I loved how the food is brought to us by a baby elevator .. I guess the kitchen is in a different level! Food: They brought out some starters that tasted delicious I was so impressed with the cucumber starter dish so yummy with a kick to it. We got kimchi , marinated onions and then the Chop suey was delish too ! Every dish had awesome flavours. We went ahead and ordered different meats and shrimp. My all time favourite was the ox tongue soo good The grill was getting dirty as we were cooking so much on it she changed it for us that was nice as well. There's a lot of variety to choose from and it is all you can eat so you may order as much as you want but if you leave anything on the plate they charge you 1$ extra so be careful when you order too much hihi. Overall service ambiance and food was AMAZING and worth every penny! Definitely recommend this place if you've never tried an ayce Korean bbq resto! Cheers!

Was in the mood for some Korean bbq. I always drove by their…read moreplace and decided tonight to give them a try. There is ample parking as they have there own parking lot and there is also a bus stop a few meters down the street. The restaurant is a small quite place and has about 15 tables insides. The menu is down all online as well as the ordering process. The staff was friendly and was able to explain everything properly. We stated off with some vegetable that we grilled. The vegetables were raw and unseasoned. We had the following vegetables. Onions and zucchini and mushrooms. We grilled them and we had to dip them in the sauces to add flavor. For the meats. Short ribs were extremely fatty and chewy and the seasoning was bland. Short ribs on no bone Was very fatty and chewy and the way it was cut was like it was cut by hand not even made it hard to grill. Ox tongue Had same seasoning as the short ribs. Not much flavor in the sauce. It was ok nothing special. Pork belly Was cut so small made it hard to grill properly. No seasoning on the pork belly. Pineapple Was fresh and not canned and we grilled it as well. It's a nice place but with a few improvements it can be a winner.

Fish Combo 16pcs: Sushi rice reminded me of fluffy uncle ben's rice, not my style for rolled sushi,…read morebut it felt fine for the nigiris. Just the rolled sushi types felt a little ruined. Escolar fish had a more dry texture, not as oily as others I've tried, but I was happy it was on the menu! Happy to report I did not have explosive diarrhea after having just 1 Nigiri from that famous Escolar fish! Tamago-Nigiri was really nice! I cannot taste the fish in it, but the egg texture was really nice and fluffy. I don't think their Nigiris were worth their separate prices, too expensive for what they were. SWEET POTATO TEMPURA: Very yummy ! Large 4 pieces. zaru soba: This was really interesting, very plain, but I liked it. Unfortunately, I had put too much fake wasabi so I ended up ruining the broth, was so much better before I mixed it in. TAIYAKI: Big no no. The inside filling was mild but still delicious, but the outside dough "crust"? was very bad, ruined it because it was not crispy, it was hard yet soft, and would squish too much when I try to bite it off. Maybe it was not fresh? Or the moisture in the delivery bag ruined it's texture? Which was strange because the tempura sweet potato pieces still had a good texture. YIN YAN SAUCE: very nice! I wish I had ordered something good to eat with it though, sadly. Maybe I'll use it later with something at home. SWEET CHILI SAUCE: I usually love this sauce but didn't go well with anything I ordered, so I guess I'll save it for something I'll make at home later. Their pink ginger looks strange but at least tasted fine. If I were to order from here again I would lean more towards the noodles and other cooked items.
