This little gem is tucked away in the corner of a small strip of shops in Spring Hill. And I'm so glad I tried it. Admittedly, the good reviews are what drew me to it. As this place is only a few minutes from my house, I had to give it a go. I had the Angry Tuna roll and the Tornado roll. Excellent sushi and worth every penny. These 2 specialty rolls and some hot green tea were $33 including tax. I would have paid at least $45-$50 up the road in Cool Springs or Nashville (plus gas). The place is relatively small and intimate, I came in in a Friday night and the place was busy but not overflowing. It's pretty kid-friendly as there were lots of youngsters around enjoying both the surroundings and the food. The service was excellent as well; prompt and courteous. I also noticed the wait staff help each other out quite a bit. That's refreshing in a restaurant environment (I have been a server and it can get cutthroat, especially on a peak night). Overall, I highly recommend the sushi and I will have to come back and force myself to try something else. It's a bit off the beaten path, but if you're local, this is the very best sushi around--and better than some other places that you would have to travel to. read more

Best sushi in the Spring Hill and Columbia area BY FAR! All of the rolls have amazing flavor, are done very well and super fresh! The Thai food is AMAZING! After spending 3.5 weeks in Thailand, this is the closest thing to real Thai food I've had in the states. You can't go wrong with any item they serve, it's all delicious! Service is always super quick and friendly! (I don't think unfriendly Thai people exist lol). If you go and there a wait... BE PATIENT! It's busy for a reason! So happy to find a high quality Thai restaurant in town! I go to Thai places everywhere I travel, and Sushi Thai's entree menu seem to be priced a couple dollars more than what I think to be average. My biggest complaint! Please stop using half and half in your curry! I'm vegan and really would like to try it, most other Thai restaurants use real coconut milk instead of cheaping out. This is an amazing little place tucked into an out-of-the way spot. I have been here twice and tried a wide assortment of different Asian-themed dishes. Not one of them was bad! Great flavors, hot food was properly hot, cold unfiltered sake was properly cold, and the spices and seasonings were always perfect. And the service is timely and attentive, but not overbearing. Visiting from California and didn't have high hopes on getting good sushi in TN let alone at a fusion restaurant. I ordered the triple crown roll, and a kampyo veggie roll. My husband got the bento box. And we both got miso. The miso was less salty than I like but added a bit of soy sauce and it was perfect. Amazing gem of a restaurant! Honestly one of the very best in Spring Hill. My wife and I get takeout probably once a week, and have a few staple menu items we always go with - Curry Puffs, Crab Rangoon, and Chicken Pad Kee Mao. I've also had the spring rolls, multiple sushi rolls, pad thai, and green curry... all which were winners! We're so grateful for the staff who keeps this place going, and ultimately those who crafted all the menu items. It's been a source of happiness for us seriously every week. Wow, what a good find here in Spring Hill area. Had the crunchy shrimp roll and spicy crab roll as well as the Bangkok rolls. Sushi was not bad. Would eat it again. Nothing over the top on these two rolls. Pretty basic but good. The spicy crab was not spicy but still had a good taste. Both were fresh and good. What was the surprise was the Bangkok rolls. Light crispy rice outter shell with ground chicken inside. Dipping them into the sweet chili sauce that came with them was awesome. Served hot and then dipped in the sauce was very tasty. The service is lacking and some of the food is sub par. Let's start with service. Tables are set with silverware for 2. If you don't tell them before your food is served, you'll need to get up and go ask for some if you have more than 2 in your party. After your food is dropped, forget about a check back to see if you need anything; not going to happen. Forget drink refills and everything else. The pho tastes like instant broth and is like calling Ragu marinara. Charging $16 for this atrocity is a crime. The filling of their lettuce wraps was tasty, but serving it with the stiff inner leaves of iceberg lettuce ensured their would be no wrapping. Bottom line. Some food is good, some not. They're a bit pricey, so dropping $50 for lunch and then going home to eat isn't a very good deal. Time to find another spot. read more

Definitely going to come back after our first experience. We went during the soft launch and we expected things to be a little rough around the edges. Food was very good. We've been craving pad Thai and they did not disappoint. I found the dish to be a nice balance of sweet and spice. The sushi was also super fresh and well portioned. The only thing that was missing was a kids menu for my picky little ones. To solve for that there are the chicken satay appetizers. Once they get past the soft launch and work out all the newly opened kinks, this place may go on my weekly rotation. read more

They have so many options, but I haven't figured out what they do really well. I've dined in once and had take out 3 times. I kept wanting it to be better due to all of the positive reviews. It isn't bad, it's just lacking. For instance, pad thai is generally topped with bean sprouts and served with a lime wedge. Theirs isn't. I can't quite put my finger on the rest, but I do like their spring rolls. The hiyashi wakame (seaweed salad) is tasty. The sunrise roll was pretty good. But their sushi prices are high! It's really the only sushi option in Spring Hill. If I could, I'd prefer to drive a little while longer to Berry Farms. read more

I'm updating my review again as I have become more impressed with other options. Lately my go to order has become the Shrimp Pad Kee Moa and an order of the hot and soup soup. The hot and sour soup is the best hot and sour soup I've ever had. The balance of savory to sourness is done very well, and the ingredients add a nice crunch for texture. I've had it with both chicken and tofu, and I will say if not eaten quickly the chicken does get tough. The Pad Kee Moa in my opinion is better than the pad Thai. The veggies as sautéed very well, still retaining a snap, and the noodles have a wonderful bouncy texture. The sauce isn't too salty or sweet and draws you back for more. This is now my wife's favorite dish, and favorite Asian food to order from. We have yet to eat in the restaurant, but it is usually packed when I arrive to pick up my order. The employees seem very pleasant with what little I have interacted with them. I definitely have a different view on this place, and it's in my rotation of Asian cuisines. read more

So glad we found this place! It is truly a hidden gem in Spring Hill. We had the Cashew Chicken and the Panang Curry with Chicken. Wow! It was delicious!!! We moved here from Seattle about six years ago and have yet to find an amazing sushi and Thai restaurant. This was right here in our backyard and we didn't even know it. It is in a terrible location and that you can't really see it from Main Street. It is right beside Haute Dog grooming. The customer service was fabulous and it was really clean. How have I not reviewed Sushi Thai yet???!! I seriously love this place! AND it's in Spring Hill! It's so awesome I don't have to drive to franklin or Nashville to get great Thai. The staff is great! Attentive, smart, quick! VERY yummy sushi! My favorite sushi place is in Mn and I haven't had any that compares. This place is the closest! I think if they made a roll with the same ingredients that match my favorite roll there I'd be set!! Their combos are great though! Yummy noodle dishes, yummy fried rice! Yummy dessert!! I feel like 5 stars is misleading only because the building isn't anything special..... I love when you walk in somewhere and it feels epic. HOWEVER the yumminess of the food, the fact that there is authentic Thai in Spring Hill and the kindness/professionalism of the staff makes the 5 stars worthy! Their servers and hostess all wore masks so I don't understand why the one person working over the sushi ingredients wouldn't prevent possible transmission as well. read more
