This place needs better servers or to be staffed properly. Besides that, the sushi and hibachi dishes are yummy; but today I tried their beef ramen and the broth tasted like beef was the only seasoning. No aromatics or salt; just beef water. Like à la croix version of broth. Just a whisper of flavor. The beef itself was also bland and kinda tasted like 4 day old steak strips. For $17 and 6 tiny strips of beef I expected a lot more. Our server was also not competent. Besides our own "service" from him, he also let a table walk out before they could even order bc he took over 10 min after greeting them to do....well, nothing bc they were annoyed and left. Also 2 tables had to walk up to him at the POS system to get their check. Our family visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was not busy at all. The hostess/waiter was very personable and attentive. We ordered a few sushi rolls and appetizers but, the family's faves were the OMG Roll and the dumplings. I ordered the medium-well steak bento box. I wasn't a fan of the amount of carrots I received and the rice was just okay but, I will be back to try a other menu item. read more

After seeing lots of hype about this place, we finally gave it a try. Sushi/Japanese food is one of our family's favorite meal so we were excited to find a new local sushi restaurant. Welp, we were all utterly disappointed in the food here. The kids meals were pretty pathetic. $7 for rice is really what you're getting. There were 4 pieces of shrimp with the rice as a meal. The chicken, there were 2 small spoonfuls of chicken with the rice. Our kids wanted more meat and were over the rice quickly, they all said they didn't like it. We had the rock shrimp, it was a super strange texture for shrimp and the fried portion was super soggy. Spring Hill roll had a chemical taste. I'd give this place a 2/10 for food. The restaurant was clean, service was good, staff was friendly. The quality of the sushi was underwhelming and not good quality. We'll be sticking to our other local favorites. read more

This is seriously what Spring Hill has been missing. The food is some of the best Japanese food I've had (outside of Japan itself) and the prices are very reasonable for the portions sizes. I ordered the hibachi steak and my wife ordered the Bento steak. Cooked perfectly and the sauce is to die for. Veggies are cooked with just enough crunch but not overdone. Noodles are out of this world. 10/10 a customer for life. read more

My family had dinner here last night and it was great. My husband and I each ordered two sushi rolls (what we normally order when we go out for sushi and usually have no trouble finishing) and they were HUGE. Neither of us finished our meal and took a goodly amount home. Our daughter had the kids chicken and fried rice and said she loved it. Service was prompt and polite but not overbearing. Normally, Kansha has been a great experience, but something has changed and not for the better. Today, we placed an order for takeout in the restaurant. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, with only 1 server working the floor on a busy Saturday night. After 10 minutes of waiting, our order was finally put in. It took a further 30 minutes to get the order out, and when we got home, we realized the order was incorrect and the tempura was cold. I truly hope this is a one-off, as the restaurant has normally been consistent. read more

We really enjoy this place but the steak is super tough (we tried it twice) so we don't order that anymore. I wish they would offer a filet mignon option or buy better quality beef so we could enjoy the steak. Other than that, we really like this place! Also wish the kids meals would have an option for veggies in place of the rice or noodles. One kiddo of mine can't have carbs. read more
