    Bento Box with Steak
    Brent A.

This is seriously what Spring Hill has been missing. The food is some of the best Japanese food I've had (outside of Japan itself) and the prices are very reasonable for the portions sizes. I ordered the hibachi steak and my wife ordered the Bento steak. Cooked perfectly and the sauce is to die for. Veggies are cooked with just enough crunch but not overdone. Noodles are out of this world. 10/10 a customer for life.

Great service and very good food! We started with the sweet potato roll, spring rolls, and gyoza and they were all spot on. The hibachi chicken was

Shrimp tempura roll (left) and spicy tuna roll. Each was $7.

It has that laid - back, market style vibe with a fish market and takeaway, along with pantry items. I ordered the ahi tuna poke bowl with all the toppings and found it incredibly fresh and flavorful. Only wish they put more fish in the bowl for the price! I was immediately met with smiling faces and an offer to explain their menu as it was my first time in. I ordered a poke bowl with all the toppings and an order of their special: Kalua pork. It was too cold to eat outside, so I took the food home to share with family. Although I ordered a mixed poke bowl, it turned out there was only ahi added. However, it was the freshest tuna I've had in forever (or ever, maybe!). It brought me right back to a short time I lived on Oahu, eating plain marinated ahi before bowls were so popular! Next time I'll make sure to try the salmon. The kalua pork was equally authentic with its tender bite and smoky flavor, and it paired perfectly with the rice and mac salad. We did add a bit of Japanese bbq sauce to the meat at home, which made it a little more interesting. The portions were enormous! I shared with family and had enough pork leftover for a next-day lunch. There is no indoor seating, but because it's located at one city, there is plenty of outdoor community seating. I'll be back in better weather, to enjoy a fresh catch while watching a beach volleyball match! Before then, I may swing by to pickup one of their dinner kits with the freshest fish in Nashville.

I saw a line right when I got there that kept growing! I had the chance to speak to the woman who handed me my lemonade & she let me know that it was her daughter's business. I think it's very admirable to be starting a business & pursuing all of the work it takes at such a young age. This place will go far!! I had the Wildberry Lemonade in a large. Two prices: small at $3, large at $5 (super affordable). It was yummy!! I have a bit of a sweet tooth so I think a little more sugar would've made it perfect. I can't wait until they open up a brick & mortar shop in Fountain Valley. I have been looking for a good lemonade spot in OC & I'm happy to see this small business growing. Tip: They also offer pre-orders over the phone for pick-up at a later date during the week. Their flavors should be posted on their Instagram. Also, they currently take cash & venmo!! That made the transaction a lot easier for me. Love this spot & I hope they have more pop-ups soon!!

Enjoyed the filet with the Henry Baine sauce (IDK who Henry Bain is but his sauce is delicious and he deserves a hug) which is sweet and spicy. For example, there was three of us on my tab. Two of us got the burgers and the other person got a chicken sandwich. Burgers were $19 and the chicken sandwich was $18. The steak prices are absolutely ridiculous. I am not gonna pay $60-$70 for a steak at a restaurant that looks like this. We've been to Perry's many times along with Jeff Ruby's and Smith Wolinsky's. Some of the prices matched these five star restaurants with nothing to back it up. We avoided getting a $300 bill at this Cracker Barrel so we ended up just getting the cheapest things on the menu cause I was already pissed off with the prices they were asking Anyhoo We got two sides, macaroni and cheese for $20 which would only feed one and a half adults if that and it was crap. and we also got a side of brussels sprouts which was a bowl for one person, but they swore it could feed 2 to 3 people and again brussels sprouts are crap. We both had water which was the best thing on the menu. The other person in our group had two drinks totaling $25. And we had a $10 dessert. our bill for the three of us was $160. With tip our bill was $185. Absolutely criminal. I felt like we got robbed. Now to review the food. Mediocre burger, mediocre chicken sandwich, terrible sides, but the water was fantastic. It's a very non-descriptive building. You walk into it and is one open floor plan. Nothing in there makes you feel like you're at an upscale five star restaurant with these prices. We've been too many five star restaurants Jeff Ruby, Smith, & Wollensky, etc. this place is more like a Cracker Barrel. One of the biggest pet peeves we had was during our entire service. There was only six people at our table. The waitress continually would stand at the end of the table (next to me ) and she would interrupt our meal and Ask Are we done with this plate or this fork or this bowl. So we had to stop and hand her any unused bowls or plates or silverware, even if we were using them still. The weird part was that she would never walk around the table and grab them from each person. She made us all gather them up and send them down to the end of table where I was sitting, and I had a stack of plates or bowls, etc., and hand them up to her. this happened numerous times throughout the meal I've never experienced this we felt so rushed and then once we got the bill, I was disgusted. So moral to the story is avoid Circa unless you want to get a overpriced mediocre meal this place is for you To be honest, you would get a better burger and mac & cheese at Cracker Barrel.
