Amazing time with captain Pedro. They made sure we found fish and help with technique to reel them in. Would use again and highly recommend them.

Wonderful experience even despite sea sickness. Captain Pedro was super friendly and genuinely focused on helping us hook dinner--- and we did-- a beautiful 12 lb Maui. He prepared our catch for cooking, which was on the table at Captain Tony's restaurant in 40 minutes. JC, who coordinates everything, especially took care of us when unexpected weather conditions prevented our driver from picking us up. JC LITERALLY went the extra mile(s), and quite a few, for us, to ensure we were taken care of right away. You don't need to pay $600 for a great, quality experience -- you can choose Sushi Time and have it all at an a very affordable price. Thanks JC and Pedro for an experience of a lifetime! - Eric and Rhonda

Great day of fishing with Nolberto. We started a little slow. Caught about 7 small fish. On the ride back we caught a 20lb Mahi Mahi!!! Bring a jacket as it is chilly in the morning.

Excellent! Captain Norberto was great! Knowledgeable and friendly. It was my first time deep sea fishing and it was exactly what I wanted. Being a first timer it was easy and I learned a lot about deep sea fishing. Added bonus was watching whales playing really close to our boat. We also saw the arch on our way out and into the marina. It was like getting multiple Cabo tours all in one. Thank you! We will be using you guys again!

Super friendly, $300 for two people, including tip, captain spoke little English, but I could make due. Boat was small & made me nervous, but it worked. Utilized every bit of time that we paid for. Assisted us with getting our fish cleaned.

We caught a 108 lbs Stripped Marlin, a rooster fish and 3 Jacks our trip

Quick Takeaway: Super affordable fishing on simplistic pangas with captains who know what they're doing. We (My Husband and I) caught numerous "Jacks", a "Rooster Fish" and a 108 lbs Striped Marlin on our half day fishing trip on July 6th, 2015. It was AWESOME and my favorite part of my entire trip to Cabo! Email Juan Carlos (owner) ahead of time and reserve your spot and see what promos they're offering. Our trip included the works : 5 hour fishing trip on a private panga w/ all needed gear, tackle, ice chest & ice, live bait, fishing licenses, boxed lunch (optional- we opted for it), and drinks (pop, beer, water). The owner and Captains at Sushi Time are trustworthy, honest and really do their best to ensure you feel like a welcomed guest. I would come back to Cabo just to fish with Sushi Time again. You don't need an expensive fishing charter to ensure you catch fish and have a good time. We did it on a budget and caught plenty of fish. We would use them again in a heartbeat. PRO TIPS: Bring Cash: We paid our deposit online via PayPal and paid the remaining amount in cash at the marina that morning. We had exact change which made it easy and we were on our way out in a jiffy. We also had the cash handy for the fish we caught. See the notes below on what it costs to filet your catch and smoke it. What to bring: Bring a durable bag that you don't mind getting filthy and can be easily wiped down. Now, stuff that sucker with all needed essentials. We brought Gatorade, baseball caps, sunglasses, extra sunscreen and snacks. We opted for boxed lunches through them which was good and included a basic sandwich, apples, oranges, peanuts, chips, and granola bars. I believe you can bring your own lunch and a cooler if you prefer. Pack a Cooler: Check with Juan Carlos for tips on what to bring if you want to bring your fish back home with you. There is a Costco in town where you can pick up coolers there if you don't want to pack one. Also, check with your hotel on if they have space to hold your fish or talk to Juan Carlos for options on storing your fish while your there. Mounting Your Catch: We did not do this. If you want to mount you catch it will cost anywhere from $1000 USD on up. Check with Juan Carlos on who he would recommend to use for this service and price it our ahead of time so you're prepared. Your 5 Hour Fishing Package does NOT include: * The tip for the Captain (they recommend a gratuity 15% and paid in cash) * Filleting of the fish (cost will run you $3 -$6 USD per small fish / $20 USD up to 200 LBS fish) * Vacuum sealing the filets for an extra $2 USD per pound * Smoked and Vacuumed packed $5 USD per pound per finished weight * A tip for the 'Fish Board" guy who will prepare your stats for the photo opt with your catch Smoking your catch: We opted to use their preferred "smoking" vendor, Griselda's Smokehouse, for our Marlin. We brought 20 lbs of smoked Marlin back home with us. We gifted some of the fish to our friends and coworkers who LOVED it. We also ended up having a few pounds prepared for lunch right on the spot. It was nice to enjoy your catch within the hour of tackling it on the high seas. Bring your appetite and enjoy catch. I promise you'll feel like a champ!

Amazing fishing experience with Sushi time. My husband caught a large marlin along with several mahi-mahi. We had no problems communicating with our fishing guide. Afterwards, my husband was able to dine on fresh ceviche while enjoying the gorgeous views of the Sea of Cortez. A fabulous day and overall experience. We can't wait to return to Cabo and fish with Sushi Time again.

My captain Pedro was awesome, knowledgeable supportive and set me up for a great day out there. We got 8 good Skipjacks and Bonitas in the boat, 5-6 pounders each. Got the all-inclusive with bait, license, lunch, and drinks for $220 - pay in cash at the dock. They took care of everything. A great day!

Outstanding day of fishing with Armando. Started our day at 6:30am and had the bonus of a beautiful sunrise. In addition to catching a few Mahi-mahi, we also saw whales. Sushi Time was a great company to work with to book our fishing trip. Would highly recommend getting some motion sickness medication as it gets a little crazy in the water.

    Roosterfish!

I had an abbreviated half-day trip because my seasick pills did not work, and I did indeed get seasick. But it was completely worth it, and I would do it again, albeit with trying a different nausea prevention method. Let's be straight about a couple of things: 1) Based on what I saw coming out of the marina daily, the boats with Sushi Time are on the smaller side, BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER!!! If you are only 1 or 2 people, you can't beat the price, and a bigger boat is not going to necessarily put you on more or bigger fish. All the boats go out to around the same areas. You might get a more comfortable fighting chair (I was too big for mine), but that's a minor issue. 2) My Captain Pedro was great, but let's also be clear - you are going to Mexico, and the first language is Spanish. Pedro had some passable English, but you would do yourself a huge favor to have a small working knowledge of Spanish to make communication flow a little easier. Pedro and I had a good time and a few laughs, even at my throwing up over the side! 3) Juan Carlos, the excellent owner/operator of Sushi Time (who speaks perfect English) advised me to meet the boat at the pier near the Starbucks in the Marina. So of course I looked up starbucks on Google Maps, which took me to the complete opposite side of the marina. Senor Frogs is the better marker, as Juan Carlos also advised, but being the silly American I went for the familiar. Taking all those things into consideration, I had a great time at a great price. Even if you never caught a fish, just trolling along the coastline is gorgeous. But of course, you would be there for fish, and besides a lull of about 45-60 minutes, we had no problem getting bites. In fact the first line to hit the water had a fish on in less than 5 minutes. I fought that guy for near a half hour I think, and he spit the hook. But I did manage to bring in a estimated 25 lb. Amberjack that was great fun, and a Roosterfish that became lunch! Not bad for a little over 3 hours on the water. After getting seasick, Juan Carlos met me at the dock to make sure I was ok and ultimately drove me back to my hotel, but not before taking me to Marisco's Mazatlan to drop off the Roosterfish so they could prep and cook it for my family and I for lunch that day. Some of the best fish taco's were made of that fish that I have ever had! Even my infant daughter ate some of the fish and wanted more. I am going to figure out how to beat this motion sickness thing, and when I do I will definitely use Sushi Time again on my next trip to Cabo. Thanks Juan Carlos!!!

    Fish on!

We had a group of six and took out three boats tournament style. Our boat limited out on Dorado and they took good care of us. Boat drivers were friendly and they arranged for our fish to be filleted, frozen and vacuum packed. Would use again. Thank you

We booked this for the Saturday after Thanksgiving, about a couple days in advance. Gary was the captain. We saw whales and pods of dolphins, and he managed to drive us til we were in the middle of the dolphins, seeing them dive out of the water right next to us and seeing them directly under our boat! He also let the kids steer a bit which was exciting for them. Another man was our host and guide - he told us a little about the geography and history of the area and served us our food and drink. The boat was very clean, including the bathrooms. We were asked to leave our shoes in a bin at the dock and it felt fine walking around barefoot on the boat. This sail included dinner but it was more like appetizers: Chips & Guac, a plate of cheese/meats/french bread. Unlimited drinks.

The company Cabo Adventures is a total scam and preys on vulnerable families. I will NEVER use them again for any other activity despite us coming to Cabo every year. I encourage every one from Yelp not to use them as well. Each ticket cost over $200 per person to be part of a group dolphin experience. This is not even private. A child MUST be accompanied by an adult so that forces more people to join. You think after spending over $800 for 4 people they would treat us like royalty right? WRONG. They do not mention any photo pricing online because they don't want to scare you away before you purchase your tickets. But let me tell you, it's an all or nothing photo package (you cannot pick a few or buy per picture) and it was over $500!!!!!! The b*tch working at the photo center must get off on making kids cry because when you call her out on the ridiculous prices, she shuts off the computer, takes her booklet, and says "ok good bye, there's the door". They do not negotiate at all because they know you have no other option. It's truly heartless. How insulting after we just spent $800 just on the tickets for a 30 min SHARED experience. They allow observers who are not doing the dolphin experience but they conveniently put them far away from where the dolphins are so it's impossible for them to take any pictures or video. Note: females you are NOT allowed to have anything in your hair such as hair ties or clips which there is no mention online or even when you check in. They don't give a reason why and it really sucked because the day we went it was super windy and our hair went everywhere ruining a lot of the photos plus making it hard to see in the water with hair in your face. My poor daughter had to take out her cute braids :/ Many other great and reasonable experiences. Go elsewhere and do NOT support Cabo adventures. Shame on you guys. UPDATE: I'd like to respond to the manager Lorena who tries to justify these ridiculous prices instead of listening to her customers' feedbacks and making adjustments. No, it's not optional to get the photos because what's the point of doing this experience if you do not have pictures to keep as memories? Yes, I understand there's safety regulations about not having cameras with us in the pool but forcing bystanders not in the pool to be over 100 ft away to take pictures which will be blurring, you leave us no choice but to purchase the photos. Nobody is asking for free photos but charging $500 is a scam. Even Disneyland only charges $80 for unlimited photos for a whole week! And respect gets respect. After spending over $800, YOUR employee is the one who was disrespectful to me first with her attitude about the price and not even trying to talk to your supervisor or work something out with me. Clearly, you only care about profit, not about customers leaving happy or having a good experience.

Now, our second trip was exactly what we were expecting. Easy check in process, personable captain (Reuben was great!!!) everything matched the description of the experience and website.
