Overall quality was pretty good, but unfortunately, the conveyor belt was loaded exclusively with very pricey products. We had been there for about 45 minutes when I saw Maki rolls apear for the first time. Consequentially, the high-priced plates led to an exceptionally high bill for us. Should I return, I'll make sure to make specific orders for the more down-to-earth offers instead of just taking what shows up by itself. For the price we paid, I would rather go to a more comfortable restaurant. Still, out of fairness, 4 stars because of the good taste and quality.

I ordered the pork okonomiyaki which was more or less a bacon like product as well as one order of octopus takoyaki. Both were stellar. I had the spicy miso with the okonomiyaki and their special house sauce with the takoyaki. Another great thing about this place is that I can walk there within 15 minutes and I have a bad feeling this could be dangerous for me in the future. Discovering this gem may be one of my summer highlights. The customer service is fantastic here and prompt. The takoyaki does take about thirty minutes to cook, on the other hand, so be prepared to wait a bit and enjoy a Kirin in the process. I don't have anything to compare this place to as I have never had Japanese food in Japan or even just Japanese food like this. It is a small place just around the corner of the Allianz building in Sachsenhausen, but easy enough to find. They offer a sushi buffet for lunch and dinner, but do a la carte sushi as well. So far we have been there twice for the lunch buffet and 10,90 € will get you a wide selection of sushi goodness. I love the variety they offer. They have all kinds of rolls, maki and nigiri with raw seafood, cooked tuna and veggies. There is something for everybody. In addition, they also offer a small warm buffet with miso soup, steamed rice, fried rice, noodles, curry chicken, spicy chicken, some kind of beef dish, and shrimps. 3 types of ice cream will satisfy your sweet tooth at the end of your meal.
