The espresso shot in our drinks was burnt, so the coffee was very bitter and harsh tasting. The pastries were good though. I like the inside of this place. I really wish their coffee was better because it's definitely a place I'd love to go get a coffee and a pastry. Coffee is 1 star. Pastry was a 3. From out of town so trying several local coffee shops. I'm kind of a coffee snob and I'm way too picky. I ordered an Iced latte with an extra shot. 10/10! I didn't see they had a drive through until after I went inside but I'm glad I went in. They have a really good looking menu and a little bakery case. Super cute spot. read more

First time at mostly muffins and I really enjoyed my breakfast sandwich from them. I love how they had the drive thru option available such is totally awesome for early morning customers. I got the breakfast with two eggs, turkey sausage, cheddar cheese on a croissant. Everything was made really well, croissant was buttery and flaky. I was told their muffins are what they are really known for as evidenced by the name of the restaurant. I just didn't want to have any too sweet for the morning. I tried the breakfast burrito and it wasn't quite what I expected. Everything inside was mixed together into one uniform blend, so there wasn't much texture or separation between ingredients, it all kind of became one homogenous filling. The chilaquiles skillet flavor was definitely there, but it leaned very heavy on spice. It had that intense, heartburn-type heat rather than a balanced flavor. On top of that, the texture was pretty disappointing, the chips were completely soggy and soft instead of having any crunch, which took away from what makes chilaquiles enjoyable One person attending the long line when they should have a pick up area with someone ready to hand out orders. My wife and I stopped in for a little bit of a brunch that consisted of 2 gourmet muffins (cranberry cheesecake) and the Soup of the Day (beef vegetable soup). It all hit the spot, mixed with the light ambience throughout the eatery: it made for a nice getaway from the everyday. I'm new to Yuma, and have been looking for a place to grab a coffee & breakfast that isn't Starbucks, and that doesn't take an hour of sitting in line. I found the place! The staff at Mostly Muffins is amazing, they're all so sweet, friendly, and take their time to show you what flavors they have and explain everything to you. I got 4 mini muffins, French toast with strawberries & banana toppings, and it was AMAZING. I don't think I've ever had fluffier French toast. The portions are huge! This is a hidden gem in Yuma. This place opens early, and always stays cool in the specially hot summer. They have an amazing selection of muffins, not surprisingly based on the name. They are quite fresh, and with multiple delicious flavors. I also highly recommend acai bowl which is delicious, and very fairly priced. Quick service at the counter and greeted by two friendly young ladies. We got two breakfast sandwiches and a small iced latte for $15, and with the check in on Yelp we got a free mini muffin for our 9 month old! Our breakfast sandwiches were customizable, I got mine on a bagel with sausage and American cheese with two eggs and he got a croissant with ham, two eggs and Swiss. My latte was made sugar free caramel and they offered plenty of sugar free options! We were driving through Yuma on the way to San Diego and I'd highly recommend going to Mostly Muffins! I went to Mostly Muffins this morning for brunch and truly had the best experience! The staff was incredible- from suggesting delicious food options from the menu to checking on me regularly while I was dining to clearing our outdoor table for us so that I didn't have to make an extra trip inside (with a toddler in tow) to bus my table. Same with the high chair- they brought it out for me and came back to get it when I was done. And the food! Oh my. Ok firstly, that strawberry cheesecake muffin had some sort of cheesecake or cream cheese frosting that I swear I could make a meal out of totally on its own... it's heavenly. The muffin itself was good too, but the frosting was truly the star of the show. I also ate French toast breakfast that was thick and fluffy and perfectly cooked where the outside was crisp but the inside was still spongy (in the best French-toastesque kind of way!). I added a side of bacon and it was so crisp and tasty, too! There's plenty of parking, the restaurant is nice and tidy, they have really cute coffee mugs for sale, and the restrooms are clean. I come here mostly for the muffins but their croissant egg sandwiches are wonderful too! I have such vivid memories of coming here as a child after dentist / doctor appointments. Always such a treat! The chocolate chip muffins are wonderful and why get 1 large one when you get 2-3 little ones and try more flavors! The coffee shop is really cute inside and definitely could see it being a girls meet up spot for there cinnamon roll and that's about it. Most of the employees give off the snobby vibes and causes to throw off the vibe of the entire coffee shop. They have breakfast burritos on the weekend and they are pretty big in size but mostly stuffed with potatoes then anything else which is supper gross. There "energy drink mixes" are literally over priced monster or red Bull energy drinks. The mixes don't not add any flavor to them, they taste like what comes out of the can. They also have homemade muffins, I am a sucker for blueberry muffins and when I tell you it was the driest muffin I ever ate. I could not eat it without any water. It was like I was eating a Kentucky fried chicken biscuit. It's not a place I would recommend to out of state friends. read more

Been here twice, once through the drive through and once as a sit down customer. Each time the customer service was excellent. The coffee was good and the muffins were tasty. I tried the raspberry, boysenberry, carrot cake and double chocolate (not all at once). All of the muffins were outstanding. I would like to note that the flavor theme was pretty consistent. Meaning the flavor for their muffins were not crazy strong nor sweet. My thought is that this is because they probably don't use a ton of sugar.?? I don't know, that's a guess so don't take my word on it. My overall description of this place is that it is a donut shop that sells muffins instead of donuts. They also have other breakfast things on the menus which i am willing to try next time i go. I will go back and i strongly suggest this place to others. read more
