    My experience with Traeger customer service was the absolute worst!…read more I signed up on May 27, 2025 to receive a Free Shipping Code for online grill purchase and never received an email with the code. However, I get daily marketing emails from Traeger so my email is correct. Today I tried to Chat and wait time was zero minutes, but no one connected. I then called customer service and explained my dilemma and the man said all shipping was free (NOT!), but Checkout Cart included $75 Shipping Fee. I asked customer service if they could email me the code. He said no. I then asked to speak with someone else, and he said that he would first have to create a Case#. What crap! I'm so glad I did not buy one of their grills if basic customer service is SO BAD.

    I've been a longtime Traeger customer and previously owned a smaller unit for about four years with…read morezero issues--it worked great. That's why I felt confident spending over $700 on the Pro 34. Unfortunately, this one has been a completely different experience. From the start, I had problems. The grill caught on fire almost every time I used it. I followed all startup and shutdown procedures exactly as instructed and made sure it was cleaned properly after each use, so this wasn't a maintenance or user error issue. After dealing with repeated problems, I reported it about five months after purchase. The support I received was disappointing. The company seems to rely heavily on phone support and sending replacement parts, but that doesn't solve a potentially unsafe product issue like repeated flare-ups or fires. To make matters worse, the corporate representative I spoke with came across as rude and dismissive. The interaction felt very scripted and "corporate," rather than focused on actually resolving the situation. I've always liked Traeger products, which makes this even more frustrating. But based on this experience, I can't justify recommending this model. Spending this kind of money only to deal with safety concerns and poor support is unacceptable. Bottom line: Good past experience with the brand, but this unit--and the support behind it--missed the mark. I expected better.
