Hometown feel, they have things I can't find at the big box stores and if they don't they will order it for me.

They make you feel like family and have products the bigger chain stores don't. I will never go anywhere else.

This is from Kobalt's website…read more "ee store or call 1-888-3KOBALT for details. You should never have a problem with your Kobalt tools. However, if you do, return the item to the place of purchase for a free replacement. No questions asked. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Please see store or call 1-888-3KOBALT for details." Kobalt advertises their hand tool warranty as "hassle free," but my experience was the opposite. I tried to warranty a 1/4-inch ratchet, and I was told that because it originally came from a set--and because they no longer carried that exact same ratchet--they could not replace it in store. Instead, I was told I would have to go through Kobalt. That does not feel hassle free. It feels like customers are punished for buying a tool set, and if the exact tool is discontinued, you may be out of luck. Be cautious when trusting any warranty that claims to be "hassle free." My experience showed otherwise.

But I don't recommend buying plants from Lowe's because they do not take good care of their plants. their new plants tend to die very quickly because how they maintain them. A positive tho is if you get them the minute they get delivered to the store you will get a great plant for a cheap price compared to other garden nursery's. Their employees tend to not know much about plants either. so they are not helpful. The employees tend ignore your presence when you are there as well. I highly recommend Home Depot over Lowe's especially for their plants.

Pretty much saved my life today!…read more I had a weird situation where my gas cap fell apart essentially and part of it was stuck in the cap so I couldn't get it out. No one had a wrench or tool so I walked from smiths gas over to ace and they were rad and the store has a unique vibe. also--- they do a ton of sharpening for all kinds of blades, knives, etc!!

I've been coming to this Ace Hardware since early 2025 when my daughter bought a house nearby. I've…read moremade numerous purchases as I work through a very long punch list. In the past months, I've noticed a significant drop in customer service. The staff are unhelpful, don't seem to know much and are sometimes downright rude. I sent my son in there yesterday to buy a couple of things and they were rude to him and not helpful at all. He said he felt like they were irritated with his questions. I had to swap out some pipe dope that my son bought yesterday that had clearly been used and then returned. I went in to swap it for a new can and the guy was clearly irritated that I was bothering him. Barely said a word to me. I should have got his name, but I'm pretty sure he is either the manager or the owner. He's in his 50s or early 60s, was wearing a green America 250 cap and a black Ace Hardware t-shirt. Has a real attitude. If I had the time, I would have given him some pointers on customer service. If he's the owner, this store has a real problem. Edit - his name is Jason. Pretty sure he is the manager. I had to go in again to get a refund and Mr. Sunshine was there. Same demeanor. I gave him some direct feedback on his attitude. I think I'm going to drive a few miles and use a different store from now on. I don't need the attitude. The prices in here are higher, but I was willing to pay for the convenience. Not anymore. Word gets around about this kind of behavior. This store won't do well if they keep this up.
