Good for the area, but PRICEY! Not sure if worth $20 for 1 eyebrow service, BUT there are no other viable places found around... yet. Typically have 1 or 2 technicians available for walk-ins, and from our experiences to date, we have not received experienced technicians but rather new, training or someone who is just ok (where we have to request further cleanup when we check the mirror and still end up unhappy complaining on our ride back). Will keep searching, as we need to find our new person with our previous perfect eyebrow threading technician retiring :( read more

Extremely disappointed in the service I received today. I've had nothing but good things to say about SUTRA until today. I made an appointment with Arti who I normally see and when I arrived I was told she wasn't in. This was strange to me and a bit annoying as this has happened before and I had been seen by other people however they have all been lovely. Unfortunately today I received my service by a woman who seemed fairly young and untrained. The threading process was EXTREMELY painful and I winced many times but didn't receive any sort of acknowledgement about my discomfort. Even the scissoring trimming part was painful and when is that ever painful?! I noticed her blotting an area after she was done but paid little to no attention, cuts and scrapes happen especially when my skin is dry. However when I went to the large mirror (mind you she did not offer me the small mirror to take a close look probably because she wanted me to avoid seeing it..) I saw two LARGE red bleeding scrapes below both my eyebrows. Again, scrapes and cuts happen but I have been getting threaded for years and this has NEVER happened. I asked her what happened and all she did was apologize and say she tried to stop the bleeding. I told her a heads up would have been nice or an apology when the cut happened, not trying to pretend it didn't happen at all. I have attached the pictures. It's been longer than 12 hours and while the swelling has gone down the pain and the cut are still red and noticeable. I still paid full price with tip even though I left mortified with these scratches. If SUTRA can't acknowledge reservations with specific specialists or continues to offer treatments with specialists with poor training and no etiquette I will no longer come here. read more

Me and my mom went to Ruby, super super sweet woman and she tinted my mom's eyebrows perfectly. Knew just the right color so it wasn't too dark but gave her the color she needed. Eyebrow threading came out great too read more

Mani was awesome! I came to Sutra for the first time this week, as a walk-in, for brow threading and was taken immediately. I was offered a complementary brown tint, as a first time client. My brows look amazing and this service was looong over due. My total was $20 for just the threading, and would've have been $40 with tint for a returning client. Their prices are a little higher than other threading salons in the area, but I would return for their service, atmosphere and overall experience. read more

I came here for my first lash lift and was disappointed.. the lashes on my right eye were significantly more curled than the left eye. The staff was apologetic and told me to come in the next day to try and re-lift the left eye. The results stayed the same and once I left I realized the woman had stained my forehead and nose with lash tint. The staff was kind but I'm bummed with the outcome and stain on my face. I'm giving 2 stars because the eyebrows came out great. To be honest I'm extremely unhappy with my lash extension it really deserves no stars. I came in for a level 3 fill in I explained exactly what I wanted and it wasn't delivered. When you book on the website it says it takes 1 hour to do fill in. I made appointment for extension fill in. Eyebrow thread and tint, and bottom lash tint. I came in significantly late which then I was told I wouldn't have time for the bottom lash tint which is totally understandable it was my fault I was late. BUT to have a rush job done on the lashes when clearly it states 1 hour but was done in 20 min is unacceptable. I already gave up a service because I was late which again my fault but to rush my lash extensions is not right. They look horrible, they look like they need a fill in which is what I came for. When I spoke to the person upfront just to ask how long it usually takes for fill in she said 30 min but website says 1 hours. I've had my lashes done for years and a fill in never takes 30 min it would be anywhere from an hour to 1.5 hours! Will not be coming back to this location, the one in Shrewsbury is the place to go not here. read more

I got my eyebrows threaded and tinted, and oh my god I love them. I never got my eyebrows tinted before, but she told me I wouldn't regret it, and I definitely don't. I wish I would've asked the name of the woman who did my brows because she did such an amazing job ! The place is super cute and clean. The staff was very attentive and professional. I went here thinking I was going to a great place after briefly reading reviews. My brow girl is about 30 minutes away, after growing out my brows all of COVID for MONTHS she continues to shape them perfectly. In all the years I have lived in the Marlboro area I fail to find anyone competent to thread eyebrows. I went here and SPECIFICALLY told the technician to clean the bottom, keep the thickness and don't touch much else up so I can buy time before going back to my eyebrow girl. The technician took off a great chunk of my brows, even the top. To say I'm dissatisfied is an understatement. They are PENCIL THIN. she offered to draw and put makeup on so I can see how good of a job she did. I don't even pencil them in myself. For a place that charges $20 to do eyebrows they should listen to you when you ask something. And the service was Ridiculous. When I told the cashier that she offered me a next free service rather than my present service being free. As if I would ever come back. She called me again to apologize and offered me a free brow tint which I see is advertised as complimentary anyways with first eyebrow thread. I will say she was apologetic but the way it was handled was poor. Also when i initially walked in her and another technician were snickering and sitting in the front making fun of someone else that works there. Very unprofessional. Will not be returning. Have to spend the next 5 months growing out my eyebrows again anyways. Save your time and money. Don't go here. read more

Worse experience ever-very unprofessional. I had eyelash extension appointment and I had to wait one hour for person, they were running late. They had someone "prep" me who knew nothing about eyelash extensions. She used the wrong tape and irritated my skin before the stylist arrived. After waiting one hour stylist decided to use my session as a learning session - without my permission. By this point my eyes were completely irritated from the prep girl manipulating my eyes/eyelids I had to walk out of session. Save yourself the time and aggravation and go somewhere else. read more
