I feel like I can't ever thank Suzanne enough for her work. I had my hair cut by Suzanne 2 times now and plan to for as long as she works! I feel great after I come out of her salon and my hair is easier to manage with her magic touch. On my first visit, I consulted with her about what I wanted for my hair in the long and short run (growing it out but having that full asian hair, it gets a bit difficult), she cut it in a way that is easy to manage. Then on my second visit (2 months after), it felt like she barely trimmed my hair (because I'm growing my hair out) but I looked so much better than when I walked in there. I received compliments from strangers, coworkers, friends, and family! And the way she styles your hair.. I wish I woke up looking like that every morning. She also has great knowledge about hair and hair products. She is extremely easy to talk to and very friendly. I also love that she is careful and detail oriented. I came earlier than my appointment time so I got to see her interact with other clients. She's even fantastic with kids! She keeps a book that has client information on it, then logs what she had done for that day's visit. I love that she keeps track and it's very personable to me. Ok, so I'm in my mid 20s, born and raised in LA and never, ever have gone to the same stylist more than once. Granted, I HATE getting my hair cut, but also I've never found anyone who could really "get" my hair. To be fair, I'm terrible at describing what I want. She really knows her stuff and will explain to you each process she uses, why it's good, etc. Several months ago, I came to her with super bright red hair and asked her to help me get it back to my natural color (which was quite the process...). She worked with me to make it as easy as possible and my hair looks awesome! She helped me get it into a beautiful, healthy state. I've been hooked ever since! I found Suzanne when i was about to cut all of my dead destroyed hair off. i've been dying my hair crazy colors (so basically destroying my hair) since i was 13. i was desperate to save it and Suzanne introduce me to Keratin. it changed my life! it completely restored my hair and it is so soft and amazing. it also makes it super easy to maintain. it's always soft, straight and pretty much ready to go. I'm new to the area and was looking for a new hairstylist near by so I yelped and decided to give Suzanne a call after reading her excellent reviews. I've been really wanting to change my hairstyle since I had short spikey hair for the past 10 years. She simply told me to bring pictures of hairstyles that I was interested in the day of our appointment. She was even nice enough to squeeze me in after her last appointment on Saturday which was 7pm. After I showed her a few pictures I took online of different hairstyles I wanted she went over each style and explained to me which style would work best for me. The whole process took only 40 minutes and amazingly she cut and styled my hair exactly like the picture I showed her. Honestly, I was a bit tentative because I've never gone to a legit hair salon before. I figured that guys who went to salons came for fauxhawks and frosted tips, but I was strapped for time so I decided to give it a go. Let me start by saying that my overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I'm pretty fussy about my hair, but I absolutely love my haircut! She took the time to ask me what I wanted and how I normally styled my hair. I told her that I work in a pretty conservative office environment, so nothing too crazy, but that I was open to something more stylish for the wedding (gotta look my best if my future wife is in attendance haha). My teenage daughter just got her hair cut last night by Suzanne. Suzanne did an AWESOME job! My daughter's hair is very long and really think and tangles easily. My daughter wanted to keep her long hair look but knew that she needed some sort of change. Suzanne had great suggestions. She left it long but did cut off a few inches (there was plenty!) and also did a little bit of layering in the front and "thinning" (that's not the right term but I can't remember what she called it) at the bottom so that it would not look as heavy.
