Our sweet girl passed early this morning and I contacted Everett immediately. We scheduled the private cremation and Grant let us be very involved, which was important to us and strangely comforting. And we also took home a free plant to take care of for a while Less than 3 hours later I had her ashes back and can take her home. This is a compassionate, exactly what you need place that supports families. Highly recommend. You will be supported and loved through the process.

I called multiple times on Friday and Saturday to get an update on the status of my dog, often more than once per day, but received no response. The only communication I received was a text message on Sunday stating that my dog was ready for pickup. The message stated: "Pickup may be made weekdays 3 p.m.-6 p.m. or Sat/Sun before 3 p.m. or by appointment." Based on that information, I arrived at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. The employee was already leaving but did return to assist us. Unfortunately, the pickup felt rushed, and I was not given the opportunity to look at or purchase an urn before leaving. Losing a pet is an incredibly difficult experience, and I would have appreciated more consistent communication and a less rushed pickup process during such an emotional time.

This is an incredibly important organization that advocates for feral cats. Many…read morerescues/non-profits don't include ferals in their scope of treatment options. They offer low cost spay/neuters and provide vaccines as well. Thanks to them, the cat populations in the Denver area are managed. I cannot thank them enough for the work that they do. They rely on donations, so if you feel called to support them, please consider it! (I'm not affiliated with them in any way, other than having taken cats to them.) They work with pets too, provided the same services at a low cost.

I learned about them from the Metro Denver C.A.T. who I've partnered with in the past to rent traps to TNR the backyard kitties that was running around in my neighborhood. Was trying to borrow traps again from them but they were out for the season and told me about vet care for ferals with The Feline Fix. One of the ferals in the community recently showed up with a bummed foot so I was trying to trap him to take him to get checked out. I've been feeding him for about 2 years and have trapped him in the past for TNR. I come to find out that the Feline Fix also loan traps and was able to borrow 2 to see about catching him. I was not successful last weekend to trap him but was able to trap his sister for a wellness check since she's been my loyal kibble/wet food customer for 2+ years as well. The cost was definitely non-profit pricing and I'm grateful they were able to help. One of the best thing about the Feline Fix, was that they have the most understanding and caring staff and they know what it's like to care for the ferals. They know the appointment I made would be a "loose" appointment. That I plan to bring them if I got them, but if I didn't, they understood as long as I give them a call that morning. They also never turn away a feral that came in a trap, so I'm very excited to know that. They also partner with local foster families and help them get the kitties care that they need. The only thing is they might be limited on what they can do as I believe they don't have an X-ray machine in case the severity of the issue is too much. They also see regular kitties too at a very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend The Feline Fix especially if you're in the area. Great office to work with for community kitty needs.

When Milo came home, we immediately noticed improvements with commands, structure, place, heel, crate training, and overall behavior inside the house. The trainers took the time to teach us how to continue the training at home and answered all of our questions patiently. What we appreciate the most is that their support did not end after pickup. They have continued helping us with follow-up advice, videos, and offering private lessons whenever needed. It really feels like they care about Milo's long-term success and not just the training period itself. Milo is still working on reactivity outside around dogs and people, but we understand that consistency and continued practice at home are important, and we appreciate all the guidance they have given us so far. Thank you again to the whole team for all the work, care, and support with Milo!

They were both Covid pups and at 5 and 6 it just seemed that we were not living our best quality of life with them as we were unable to take them many places, including hiking because of their reactions to other people and dogs. It continues to be, and will always be a work in progress, but we can see and feel the benefit. Each day they grow more and it is apparent they thrive from and feel more confident from the training. We train with them daily regardless of how much time we do or do not have using the skills taught to us by the trainers at ACA. We see a bright future for our family with Piper and Alex being alongside of us on these adventures instead of at home. The hardest part of the 4-week board and train was not having them at home, however, seeing the videos and how happy they were throughout the process made it apparent they were in great hands and well cared for. It is amazing the skills we have learned as well as they support, we have gained through ACA for the duration of Piper and Alex's lives ensuring it is the best possible life they can live.

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. It's WELL worth the investment, and you will be amazed at the difference you will see in your dog. Thank you Loyal Hound & Juliet!!

I am looking forward to taking my two Samoyeds on walks again while walking my toddler in a stroller without having to worry that Hope will pull us. Trained dogs are safe dogs and I'd pay for the training with Juliet 10x over. Worth every penny! It makes my life easier as a single mom managing all the things to have two dogs that get to enjoy being outside with us because I trust them and they trust me. Yelp Review by Gunner G. (Professional Good Boy)…read more I recently hired Hike Dog for what I believed was a simple walk around the block. Imagine my surprise when they kidnapped me and took me on the greatest adventure of my life. The staff arrived and immediately spoke fluent Dog, which is impressive because most humans only know words like "sit" and "no." They loaded me into a magical chariot full of other dogs who were all convinced they were the best dog ever. I politely let them know that title is already taken. The hike itself was incredible. There were approximately 47 million smells, 12 squirrels, 3 suspicious bushes, and one stick that I am still thinking about. The staff allowed me ample time to conduct important scientific research by sniffing literally everything. Upon returning home, I was so exhausted that I slept for two straight hours. My human seemed concerned at first until she realized I was simply recovering from a demanding day of athletic excellence. Pros: Endless smells New dog friends Humans who appreciate my greatness Excellent dirt-to-fur ratio Came home happy and tired Cons: They made me come home The squirrels remain at large My human keeps asking where I've been all day Special recognition goes to the team for sending my human photos and videos. She stared at them for an embarrassingly long time and told everyone she knows how handsome I am. This information was already widely available. In conclusion, if you're a dog who enjoys hiking, sniffing, running, socializing, and returning home completely incapable of staying awake, Hike Dog delivers. I will absolutely be booking again, assuming my human can locate my leash while I continue this important nap. Five paws out of five. Would hike again. -- Gunner, Black Lab, Adventure Enthusiast, Squirrel Investigator, Part-Time Vacuum Cleaner
