We are new to the area and love to find fun, inspired and delicious coffee places. This was first…read moreon our list and it was the perfect thing to do Sunday after church (yes, they are open Sunday). The weather was great and we walked the nursery first with our golden, and then did the drive-thru on the way home. We got a iced mochas with cold foam, and they were good- not the best coffee we've ever had, but this is such a cute and fun spot, and the coffee was good enough to go back for sure. It was a bit on the pricier side- 2 12oz iced mochas with cold foam were 15 and change- not horrible, but more than a few other spots we've tried. If you're near the area, or just want a cute spot to grab some coffee, definitely go check them out. The service was great too! Super friendly, and just a fun find.

This cute lil coffee shop has been on my list for a while and I finally made it out today to check…read moreit out! They have an intriguing drink menu and tasty looking goodies that you can enjoy while taking a walk in the garden which is great for a hot summer day like today. I decided just to get a drink this time and while there's several of them i want to try, I went with the "Evergreen Mocha" iced for my first experience with them. It is pretty dang good.. you have to enjoy those candy chocolate oranges that are sold around the holidays to like it and luckily I do ! It came with a cute little garnish on top of the cup which was a dried piece of an orange and pine held together with honey. I can definitely see myself coming back here when in the area and feel like walking through the pretty garden. Next time I'll try out their floral offerings like the Rose Cardamom latte and perhaps a lavender and rose shortbread cookie- I'm looking forward to my next visit!

I dont know what it is about this location but I always get treated poorly here. No greeting when I…read morewalk in or anything. Last time I went, the lady at the register just looked at me and said nothing. After a few minutes of looking at their very limited inventory a male employee finally asked if I was finding everything ok. And I was the only customer besides 2 other people. At least they were acknowledged by the lady at the register when they walked in. The zamzows on Caldwell blvd is so much better.

So today I had one of the first really negative "your from California" experiences. I have gone to…read morethe Zamzows on Caldwell quite a few times and have loved it. Even went to a seed class a couple of weeks ago. Today I was closer to the on on Franklin. I ask the lady about being new to the area and lawn care. After she ask where I was from and heard California her first response was "you could have lied" which really???? Then proceeded to tell me a story about her friend from Washington and how when he moved here when he went to set up utilities that they told him that if he had said California that they wouldn't turn on his utilities!!! Which I assume was a joke. I get it Idaho people but I'm in your place of business spending money at local stores. You have no idea why I even moved here, so I shared with her that we honestly didn't have a choice. We lost out beautiful home on the October wildfires. Now I don't wish this on anyone and when everyone is under insured and the house prices along with building costs are so high, what does one do but have to move out of state. It's really quite sad to move to a new area not knowing hardly anyone and wanting to shop local that you experience such negativity. I will not go back to the Franklin store. It's hurtful when you haven't walked in my shoes. I hear that it's growing here drastically and California people are to blame but please keep your opinions to yourself. Thank you
