I got engaged a few months ago and started the wedding planning process. I had no idea what I was…read moredoing and it all felt so overwhelming! I was searching for a photographer and was a little nervous in doing so. The pictures and capturing our moments are so important to me and trusting a complete stranger to be able to do that for me was a little scary. Well I went online and searched and found B. Israel Photography. I messaged them and Cindy messaged me back right away. We chatted for a bit about what we wanted, what they could do for us, and the cost. The price was right on. Not the lowest bid we got, but not the highest either; in the middle and super reasonable for all the extras we would get! I checked out their website and WOW....the pictures on there looked AMAZING! I knew right then I had to have them, so I booked them that same day! Yesterday we met Cindy and Jay for the first time for our engagement pictures. They had found a park that had some beautiful scenery and great light for our shoot. We were super nervous going into the shoot because we had never done this before. We didn't know what to expect or if our personalities/visions would mesh. However within minutes our fears were put to rest! Both Cindy and Jay were absolutely amazing, super personable, yet professional and down to business. Within minutes we were laughing and joking around with them and they really made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Jay is a bit of a perfectionist (which we loved) and would position us in places where the light hit us just right. When he got the shot he wanted his whole face would light up and you could tell that he truly enjoyed what he was doing. While we did some posed pictures we were encouraged to be natural, move around like we normally would, and to just enjoy the moment. Cindy would help to make sure that while striking a pose, or anytime we moved, that our body's looked natural and that we looked the best we could look in each position. While they didn't show us our photos at the shoot, there was one pose I really wanted. Jay was able to capture that picture, showed it to me to make sure I liked it, and we took it a few times to get it just as I was imagining it in my head. I was blown away. The raw pictures already looked perfect with the light streaming through the trees, and it didn't look posed but like he had secretly captured us in a moment! I can't wait to see the final version of it!!! Today was a huge success. Cindy and Jay were so much more than what we expected. You could tell that they knew what they were doing and truly enjoyed the shoot as much as we did! I can honestly say that I know our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures will turn out amazing because of their knowledge, skill, and ability to make us relax in front of the camera. I can't say enough good things about this duo and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for any type of photo shoot (engagement, wedding, family, baby, etc).
