The service manager had a technician climb onto the roof of the RV to take pictures and then coordinated with the parts manager to find the right parts. He then sent the tech back up on the roof and to change out the crank and attach the lid and hood. The price for parts was under $70 dollars and they did not charge us for the labor. I brought in a backup camera that I had purchased from a third party to have it installed, and from the beginning, Lane and Tracey made me feel like my business and my concerns were a priority. The installation ended up requiring numerous attempts at troubleshooting, and instead of giving up or simply sending me on my way, they stayed with it until they figured out that the issue was actually with my truck. Even after discovering the problem wasn't with the camera or their installation, they continued to assist me and make sure everything was working properly. I left with my backup camera working perfectly! That level of patience, professionalism, and genuine commitment to taking care of a customer is hard to find. Lane and Tracey are a great representation of what exceptional customer service should look like. They do not stand behind any equipment they sell. I purchased a truck from them in January of this year and we have had nothing but problems from the very beginning. The owner, Chris is very proud that they inspect and go through each truck thoroughly. When the truck was delivered it was 3 gallons low on oil after a 360-mile trip and I brought it to the attention of my salesman, Jeff. He said we would look into it. I heard nothing back. The truck was advertised with no wet kit. We paid Bouma Truck Sales thousands of dollars to install a new wet kit. The truck showed up with a wet kit that had been on it for years and not in working order. When both of these issues were brought up with the owner he said they probably forgot to top off the oil before it left. He also said that the wet kit install was a miscommunication with his mechanic. After further inspection the air filter had not be replaced in a long time. This is after he tells me that they thoroughly inspect each truck before it leaves their yard. After driving the truck for less than 3,000-miles the turbo went out. I can live with that as it is a used truck. But less than 500 miles later my company mechanic and an outside mechanic shop tell me that the truck will need an in-frame rebuild. This truck was falsely advertised in good working order and they knew it had an engine issue when they sold it to me. I have left several messages each week for the last few months for Chris to call me back. He never does. The few times that I have spoken with him he needs a few days on how to fix it. He has not called me in over 3 months even though I leave several messages a week and have been sending emails for him to call me. I paid $70k for a truck that now needs $20k in repairs. To top it off the owner Chris did agree to refund some of my money due to the repairs and it has been over a month and I have yet to receive any payment. I have sent several emails, left several voicemails and left messages with employees and Chris has yet to call me back.

Gary, the fellow behind the counter seemed very put-off that I was bothering him with a project. He strained himself to look up the prices of the parts and gave me an outlandish price for the project. I'm no math wiz, but his numbers just didn't add up. He stated 3 hours work at $80/hour, $170 for the mounts, $260 for the brush guard and some unknown amount for "modifying" the mounts. All tolled he popped off with a $3,000 bid on the project. Naturally, I was floored by his estimate. I state that a full custom bumper with a brush guard was only $1200 plus installation. Clearly, they did not want my money and gave me an outlandish price to scare me off. Screw 'em, there are a bunch more honest folks that will actually want to have work.
