They were great at explaining to me the issues the vehicle was having or could have, and kept me informed and involved in all decisions and updated me with any possible price changes. More recently, I was involved in an accident. I chose 15th Street as the tow company. The tow driver picked me and my truck up. I was a bit shook up. I have no family here and was having an "i want my daddy" moment and Gary was very patient. Helped me out of my vehicle, as the door was stuck shut, explained processes to me. This shop's professionalism, expectation-setting, expertise, honest guidance, true pricing, timeliness and responsiveness cannot be praised enough by me. I had a diversity of vehicles that they were able to service from tires to alignment to mechanical to technology, etc. - especially troubleshooting what was wrong with my older vehicles, find parts and keep them running - and they could always fit me into their schedule no matter how busy they were, and meet the deadlines they set for pick-up appropriately. The staff was always kind, courteous, took lots of time to help you with whatever challenge you had, and always took the time to explain the issue and the choices you had to remedy the problem. I cannot recommend any vehicle mechanics and full-service fuel business in Great Falls for a service related business that is better than 15th Street Service Center. If I still lived there they would have my business for life. A special note: if you are a woman, I highly recommend this business because they are one of the mechanic shops that doesn't charge women higher prices because of their gender. If you are a woman and don't know your vehicles well, this is something many mechanic shops will often do. As a female bringing your vehicles to 15th Street Service Center, you can expect respect, honesty and the same prices as anyone else coming in. If you need repairs or anything for your auto, please consult this business. I highly recommend their services and their stellar workforce.

If it would've…read morehappened to someone less assertive, they would've ended up at home with a car leaking oil all over the ground for the foreseeable future. Well taken care of few year old car with less than 50k miles. No leaks and needs nothing. Went in for oil change that cost over $100 due to requiring European spec oil. Took it home and parked the car for a few days while driving other cars. Saw signs of fluid leaking on the ground when I went to use it a week after the oil change. Looked like oil and covered an area approximately 12 inch by 20 inch. Saw drips of oil hanging off drain plug. Checked oil level before driving back just to make sure it was safe to drive. Took it back to the Valvoline oil change place and the first guy checked the oil and said that it was fine. I showed him photos I took of the pool of fluid. He said that was probably caused by some spilled fluid when the oil was changed. I said if it was a few drops I wouldn't have been back, but it was obviously a leak of some sort. He called the manager, who said it was normal and that he couldn't do anything about it. He proceeded to say that I needed to take it to a mechanic and that if the mechanic found that they did something wrong, that they would pay for it. I reasoned with the manager. Explained that my car is well taken care of with few miles and hasn't leaked a drop of anything for the past few years I've owned it. And that I choose to take it to his place because I expect better attention to detail than if I were to take it to Walmart for half the price. He suggested I take it home and let it sit for another week to see if anything changes. That frustrated me and I told him my best guess was that there was a bit of dirt or something that was causing the drain plug to not seal correctly. He asked me what I wanted him to do. I said that if he just drained the oil and re-cleaned the drain plug surface and re-filled the oil at least we would be able to rule that out. If that didn't fix it, I said that I'd take it to a mechanic even though it didn't make sense that it would happen directly after an oil change. He wasn't happy, but told his guys to just do another oil change. He walked off to take care of other things. They completed the oil change with no charges and I went on my way. Parked in a different portion of the driveway to keep an eye on it. Let it sit a few days, drove it a few days, let it sit again. Two weeks have passed and not 1 drip of oil or other fluid has hit the driveway. Confirms my suspicion that it was probably just a poorly sealed drain plug the first time. I have mixed feelings about it. I understand that everyone makes mistakes and wasn't upset that I had to go back to have it corrected. In the end, they did correct it at no additional cost to me. However I had to push for them to come through. They just wanted me to drive off and think that a pool of oil is "normal". If it happened to my wife, sister, daughter, etc they would've just accepted what the tech and manager said and gone home to live with a car now leaking oil daily. So I have mixed feelings and they did technically come through in the end. I guess the best question to answer would be = do I ever plan on taking any of my vehicles there again? And the answer to that is No.

They told me if I wanted they could get me in the next day if I brought it in early in the morning. I told them that I could do that and I brought my vehicle in that night and at 08:00am that next morning I brought the keys and gave it too the new shop manager. He asked did I have an appointment and I told him I called yesterday and spoked to a rep. who told me to bring it in this morning. The manger didn't find the appointment (my first red flag) but said he can get the job done just leave the keys. Midas called me at 2:08pm saying my vehicle was done and I could pick it up anytime. I went to pick up my vehicle at 5:38pm when my wife was off work and went in to pay for the service and get my keys, the shop manager ask how would I be paying debit, credit, etc., I told him debit and he said input your card into the reader, I was about to do that when I saw that the price for the service was $1105.68, I told him I was told that the service would be about $300 to $400 by the person I talked to and he said the job called for 4.2hrs labor and they charge $190 hr for labor plus the added wheel alignment, I told him that I was not told that and if I was other shops would have done it cheaper or I would have done it myself, but other shops had a longer wait time to get me in and the person I talked too told me a different price. The manager and I got into an argument about labor charges because no shop charges that much, even doctors don't charge that much. I even had him look up my Audi S5 that they put on a entire new exhaust on ( I bought my own parts for this also) and labor didn't cost that much, he pulled it up and he was smiling saying we charged you $240.00 for that job, I said right but, it took you 3 days to do it and that's all the labor you charged for 3 days work. He then gave me some credit for labor and took off the alignment and the final cost was $825.68 (still too much for having your own parts), beware of this place and the new manager, get your quote in writing before letting them work on your car.

Mind you, the salesman may not have been aware of any at the time. However, I'm not sure their history with integrity should allot them the benefit of the doubt. I had been taking my Jeep in to them for years, trusting they were doing quality work and charging a decent price. Initially it seemed they were. Mind you, I don't know much past the basics of vehicle maintenance. So who knows how many times the swindled me before I caught them. This brings us to this 7/3/25. My Jeep started making clanging noises. I immediately took it in, especially being a single mom who understands the importance of mechanical performance in relation to vehicle safety. Upon taking my Jeep in I asked the clerk to tell the technician IT HAD TO BE DRIVEN to hear the issue. I even had her write it down. She said she would ensure they did and would call my when they were finished; but stated all technicians would be out for at least another 30 mins for lunch. Not even 30 mins later I received a call saying they looked it over and they didn't see any issues. This made zero logical sense for several issues besides the time difference, but I figured I'd go there and talk to them in person. When I spoke to the clerk she swore that they looked it over and saw no issues inside or out. So I asked her (while staring her dead in the eye) if they test drove it. She paused and said, "uhmm yep. They did." So I asked again, "Are you positive? Because I'm pretty positive there is something wrong but they won't be able to tell unless they drive it." She again affirmed they did. I then asked for a print out of their work. To this she responded, "Oh, you don't get a print out for them just doing a check like that." I said, "Really, because they have every other time?" She again said they didn't. So I asked, "Then how do I know they looked it over or what if I need to bring it in in reference to this visit?". She said, "Oh, well we have it documented in our system. Don't worry." Not wanting to fuss I left but immediately felt I was being lied to. However, it was the 4th (or day before) and I didn't want to make a fuss. Not even 2 mins after getting on 10th my Jeep started making the same horrendous clanging noise while also losing power in spurts. I drove it home on side streets. Then immediately called my dad to come take it for a drive. After which he told me DO NOT DRIVE IT-AT ALL! It's absolutely not safe to drive and they shouldn't have let you drive it out of that lot. We then had it towed back to the dealership following the holiday. Long story short after doing some research I found out there was a mass recall on Jeeps of similar makes for PTU failures. Some of the specific warnings about PTU failures are that they can cause you to suddenly loose power, loose the ability to stop, and even combust (aka catch fire). So I took it back in and talk to the SM(sales manager) who at first tried to deny I even brought it in DUE TO THEIR BEING NO PAPERWORK IN THE SYSTEM! I then told him the name of the clerk. He called her in and she acknowledged I was in but ONLY THEN ADMITTED IT WAS NEVER TEST DRIVEN! The SM swore he would do everything to ensure it was taken care of and earn my trust back. However, they then tried to charge me for the recall work-ALL OF WHICH SHOULD BE COVERED! Clearly he failed, but then a new SM came in. Maybe things would be different. 3/4/26-Instead they again charged me for damages to a bolt that "somehow" was missing despite being told that it had to be removed physically. However their own mechanic even stated in front of them, "UNLESS it was damaged due to the extra stress due to the PTU failure." Plus it is in the same area where they had to go in to repair my PTU. I had them put it back on the lift and show me both areas. So if you are looking for honesty, integrity, and pride in the workmanship AND leadership behind it, I suggest you go anywhere but here. Period.
