A friend wanted to order oysters and she said they didn't have them that day, then backtracked and said she thought she heard someone say they didn't have them that day. In the end it was unclear whether oysters were available that day or not, so he just ordered peel and eat shrimp. My friend shared his shrimp with me and I soon realized why -- he didn't want them because they weren't good. Bland, mushy, and hard to peel, I love seafood but also passed on the shared shrimp. I got a burger, and all things considered it came out pretty quickly, just sans fries on the side (that took another 20 minutes). The burger itself looked better than it tasted -- it was dry and pretty bland. Fries were food once they came. The location has a lot of potential, and -- with a few tweaks -- I think it would be an awesome place to hang out with friends on a nice night. Until then, I'll probably rock out somewhere other than On the Rocks.
