The facilities are spacious, clean well ventilated. There are several tacking areas with cross ties and an indoor wash rack. The indoor arena is large and usually empty. There is also a lot of outdoor space to ride (I joined recently in bad wether so I have not experienced these spaces myself.) The tack lockers are plenty big for 2 saddle plus other supplies. The pastures are spacious and the horses are grouped compatibly. They feed really great grain too! The best part about the barn is that everyone is really nice and I feel confident that my horse is in good hands when I go home every day.

We had started my son off in a different day care facility and he had a tough time adjusting - he would cry every day when we dropped him off. But when he started off at Childtime, the crying bouts stopped and in fact, he refused to come back home when it was time to pick him up! He really loved the teachers, staff and the kids here. We had to unfortunately move to a different state in a few months and leaving Childtime was the hardest thing we had to do. Its been over 5 months since we moved but my son (who is 3.5 years) still talks about his old school and his classmates from Childtime. The director (Ms Becky) and assistant director (Ms Nicole) were the best. They were extremely attentive and were very open to parent's needs. The teachers - Ms. Megan, Ms. Abby, Ms. Rachel and many others were extremely loving, kind and patient. The facilities were clean, with a large play ground and several toys. There were regular updates (with pics) from the teachers, several activities that kept your child intellectually and physically stimulated. Overall, it was a well rounded curriculum that made it a pleasant and enjoyable experience for the kids. We still love Childtime and really wish we could go back there.

She loves butterflies. A whole, whole lot You can walk through the place in ten minutes or so, but if you want to see how to have a proper butterfly garden, this lady can show you! She has host plants for all stages of the butterlfy life cycle, so you can see butterflies from larvae to those flying around. Call ahead for hours, as this is entirely volunteer operated. Admission is by donation. If you friend Brenda's Butterfly Habitat on facebook, she sends out notifications when Monarch eggs and caterpillars are given away for a donation, other butterfly eggs and caterpillar eggs are given away for free, as long as you have an appropriate host plant for them.

We started at another facility that had a young rider program (Wildwind) that packed several young children into one lesson. Lack of safety and attentiveness to individual riders were huge, ongoing issues... For about the same cost, Crystal provides one-on-one attention and makes sure your child is safe and feels respected. This place is lovely!…read more It has a tiny parking lot. There are many paths you can take. We took our baby around using a baby carrier because it definitely is not stroller friendly. There is a lake in the first part of the pathway. And then we saw a dedicated picnic table area over cement! And throughout the path were lots of Phlox flowers (such a beautiful wild flower)!! We came towards the end of May so that is when they were in full bloom! The pathway is very long but we didn't walk too much because we had to eat and feed the baby. I definitely would come back!

However, if you just want to get through the 26+2 hot yoga postures with your dignity intact, feel better afterwards, and live a little longer, this might be your studio. I really liked Hot Yoga A2. The staff is friendly, professional and well trained. I've been to many Bikram and Bikram-esque studios around the world and this is one of my favorites. Why? Many reasons but the biggest one for me: NO STINK. Why does this place smell, well, odorless, but many other studios smell....I can't even describe it....like an amalgam of sweaty gym clothes, rotting carcasses, and Eau de Landfill? The room temperature is hot, indeed. Yes, the heat is challenging. A teacher once told me that hot yoga is just like a game of Simon Says....In Hell! But for those who have never tried it, I suggest that you try it for a month. Save your questions, reservations, caveats, excuses and alibis for a month and voice them all after a month if you still have them. That's because the whole thing sounds pretty hokey and if you act like Spock and examine it too rationally, you'll dismiss it and do crossfit or Zumba or ballroom dancing instead. But just try it without judging first. After a month, my guess is that you'll feel better, have improved balance, will sleep better, and have more flexibility. But it needs time to work. I can't explain it. I'm not sure why. But others say this as well. I feel confident in telling you that after going regularly, you'll develop many new talents such as putting on a sock standing up while balancing as gracefully as a ballerina on one leg. In addition, you'll be able to visit Death Valley in July and be very comfortable (who needs air conditioning?). Finally, you be able to amuse family and friends by drinking liters of water to re-hydrate after class and then excuse yourself every 15 minutes to pee for hours. The studio just opened in June and is very clean and modern. The floor of the hot room is made of some kind of great cushy stuff probably invented by NASA. I used a mat but I really didn't even need one on this floor. The locker rooms are fine with showers and lockers. The only negative is that the bathrooms are right outside of the studio in a hall. Tip: The studio is located in the complex next to the Whole Foods on the far end of the Barnes & Noble building. There are signs for several salons, estheticians, other dubious enterprises and you go up one flight of stairs and walk all the way down a long hallway reminiscent of "The Shining" and then you turn left around the corner and "Voilà," there it is.
