I've been waiting for the opportunity to do it since my double lung transplant on April 16, 2023. I feel incredible because I just got my first full body massage and foot massage at a place that's only 2 miles away from our condo! #RelaxFootMassage which evidently used to be called Happy Feet, was spotless, which of course was my main item I was looking for obviously since I'm immunosuppressed. You keep your clothes on, you're in the back where there are multiple beds in there where they keep the lights on dim and lovely spa music playing. Lisa started on my back and yes, she had a very heavy touch which I can't handle at all. I just don't like it because I'm too sensitive. But as soon as I got her to have the right touch for me, it was pure heaven! She asked a few times if I was OK because she knew that when she first started, it was too rough for me. One of the times I realized she woke me up by asking it. Yes, it was THAT incredibly comfortable. I then caught myself once I turned over starting to snore. I woke up to the sound of my own snore! I'm sure I wasn't the only one to ever do that but OY! And I am not the type to be able to just fall asleep wherever I am. I don't even have the ability to sleep on a flight. So you know that this was inCREDible. And then the feet massage... O...M...G!! I've been having a sore right foot right on the bottom of my heel for two months. Although it is still tender, the pain now on it and I asked her to actually focus more on my right heel is nothing like what it has been. I know of course every masseuse has different touches, but I absolutely loved Lisa because now she'll know that I like it much softer. The head massage... Oh, that head massage... I felt like I was in a dream state. And what a way to end my phenomenal experience... They are incredibly honest as well . I didn't have my glasses on yet and when I was paying with my credit card wanting to include my tip on that , because of something I had done, the lady at the desk immediately stopped me from continuing and pointed out what I had written by accident. She could have very easily have left what I had written. I am feeling so relaxed and will enjoy this feeling for as long as I can tonight before my husband and son get back from work, I definitely have found where I will be going perhaps once a month. She then asked me to pay first, which i did. I was then lead through a locked door, then into the first door on the right. when she left me to get myself comfortable i noticed an open cabinet with a bottle of astroglide (intimate lube) which was 3/4 of the way gone next to a bottle of regular massage oil. If that wasn't strange enough, the massage was unprofessional and the atmosphere was just plain awkward. When the massage was over, i began getting dressed and noticed the mirror on the wall. I did the "no space leave the place" test, where you put your fingernail up to the mirror and if there's no space in between it's a two way mirror, and there was NO SPACE. The mirror was fastened tightly to the wall which caused even more alarm. I went out and asked if i could see the womans' masseuses license and I.D. which she provided, however, the scenario was waaaay too strange and i informed the Port Hueneme police department.
