She got all my knots out from work and stress. At one point I heard myself snore then wake up because I was so relaxed LOL. I booked a couples massage as a surprise gift for my husband for father's day. The massages themselves were good, I just wish I had enough confidence to have asked my masseuse to put more pressure, but she didn't ask and I was afraid to tell, so that's on me. My husband had never had a massage before and my first and last was 20 years ago, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Things to consider: They had good dark lighting and music to set the mood for relaxation, but you can still hear traffic outside. This didn't bother me, but if you're someone who doesn't want to hear that I recommend earbuds. There's a dispensary downstairs and you can smell it lightly, so if you're sensitive to that be aware you can slightly smell that. Not their fault, just is one of those things. The price is pretty great. I shopped around and I saw how massages can range quite a bit. This was on the lower average scale. After we were done it felt really awkward though because there was no side chat of any kind. It was just okay you owe this much. We paid and I was waiting for a receipt, but she was just like "okay". So, we just sort of turned around to leave. I must have said thank you like 4 times between the end of the massage and paying lol. When we were leaving my husband's masseuse gave us some water and said "have a nice day" and that was the end of our experience. It was all fine, but not overly welcoming. My boyfriend surprised me with a massage from your location for my birthday. Mind you, we have both been there before and enjoyed our massages. But this time around it was just horrible. My masseuse was Mayra (I think that was her name) and she seemed distracted and was on her phone the majority of the time. My boyfriend paid for deep tissue, when I mentioned it to her she said she was just warming my body up but the intensity never changed throughout the entire hour. She didn't even work on my quads, kept working on my calves instead. At the end of the hour she asked how my massage was and I told her "only okay" and she answered "okay" and just walked out. Online it says one price and they charge you another in person we left a smaller tip since she raised the price for no reason (ps she asked if we wanted deep tissue prior and we said no) and she started yelling for receiving a small tip "your so rude" "only this"?! that could've been my last couple dollars and she was so snobby she couldn't even say thank you for the very OPTIONAL tip. Absolute regret coming here instead of trying out the massage place in the plaza next to this one. I had already made my reservation and decided to go. I arrive on time 7pm for my appt. No one was in the office area, so I decided to use the restroom (maybe a client was finishing up). I message them that I am inside. As soon as I come out of the restroom, there are 3 people in the front that work there. I go into the room, by this time is 7:05/7:10 when the masseuse (Hispanic lady) comes back in. She then leaves back outside because another client had come in (possibly complaining) - all I could make out was "there's a client in there, and if you wanted emphasis on legs/feet you should've mentioned it" ... that should have been my initial cue to go. The massage was literally having lotion/oil rubbed on me, no pressure at all. Can't even consider "swedish" . Beyond disappointed I wanted to leave 20min in but didn't know how to politely stop the massage and not pay for it. No oil/lotion was put on my legs when turned upside. Massage ended exactly at 8... mind you the actual massage started after 7:10 perhaps even 7:15pm. I decide to pay the $50 since I stayed the whole time and just thought to myself "never again." I go to pay the masseuse and she wants to charge $55 instead of $50. I said, it's $50. She responds with "oh did you want Swedish, not deep tissue?" Flabbergasted at this point, I told her "I don't know what that was, but it was literally you putting lotion/oil on me..." she then proceeds to ask me "how much to charge the card" expecting a tip. I say "$50." I shouldn't not have paid at all. Literally can't even consider a massage at alllll. All that to say, never again. read more

This was my second time trying this place. The first time my therapist was late, didn't ask if I had any injuries or areas of concern and worst of all stopped massaging me to text on her phone! I have been battling a headache for a few days and all other reputable places were booked for today so I figured I would give this place another shot. They had an opening within an hour of calling with the owner, Peter. We agreed on a deep tissue massage for $50. As he started the massage it was rather light. I explained it felt more like a Swedish massage. I asked him for firmer pressure and he immediately got defensive. Telling me that it's about the technique not the pressure. Well as someone who's been getting massages for at least 16 years and is also a physical therapist, I think I know what I am talking about. He got upset with me and said "are you good or do we need to stop?" First of all, he's the owner and shouldn't be getting upset with a simple request. It's not like I paid for Swedish and asked for more resistance. I was so uncomfortable the entire massage. After that, his "technique" felt more spiteful than therapeutic. He was pushing so hard and pinching my muscles. Along with that he was doing mobilizations on my back similar to a chiropractor. This is very dangerous for an untrained person. The room was freezing cold, my feet and arms were left out during the massage, I felt super I comfortable. Compete opposite of what I needed. I will never return here. Horrible service. I had scheduled my appointment a month in advance. When I go they're telling me it was for a different day. It couldn't have been because I requested a Saturday NOT a Thursday and had written it down. They don't send a reminder nor call you if you miss the appointment. He stretches and assesses and corrects tightness in high performance athletes. On my second trip I had a different masseuse, a female who said she doesn't like doing deep tissue.
