Highly recommend this cute little farm for fall with kiddos! One of the cheaper ones, in my option (but so worth it). My daughter had a blast going down the slides, bouncing on the large pumpkin bouncy house, hay ride, and feeding the goats! Everyone working was super attentive and so nice. My first time to this pumpkin farm was because of the Gourdys 5k pumpkin run. It's a pretty convenient location not too far from Kenosha. Because it was so busy parking was a nightmare only because it rained the previous night and we had to park in the grass which was high and wet. It's a cute little place but if I didn't have a race there I'd be disappointed in the quality of the place. They have a few kid activities that you can purchase a wristband for $12, pony ride not included. Corn maze, tractor slide, hayride, etc. They have a little petting zoo with goats and cows that you can feed. Pumpkins are a bit on the pricey side. Might as well just vget them from a store at that point. I will say their apple cider donuts were good. I had one freshly made and it was deliciously tasty and soft. Overall not one of my go to pumpkin patches. read more

Always fun to come to swam pumpkin during the month of October so much to see and enjoy. It's a very family oriented. They got pumpkins, apples, caramel apples,they have goats you can buy a little food to feed them and pet them and get pictures taken with them. Their apple cider donuts are freshly made and oh my God you must have one when you're there. They're delicious. The apple cider juice you can have it either hot or cold depending on your liking either way is great. They also have a corn maze and hay rides to enjoy, there's a kids area where they can go up and down and jump and just burn some energy while you enjoy your donut and your apple cider. If you are looking for some cute photos for fall, this is an area where they have some sections where you can actually get some cool pictures. Think about Christmas cards come in, that would be a good place to take those photos. It's located in Caledonia and their staff is super friendly and everybody is just there to enjoy the day. You will not regret coming in and bringing your family and your kids to enjoy for a few hours. Everything is budget friendly so it's not like you have to come in and spent a lot of money. I wanted to get some pumpkins for our front porch. We headed to Swan's Pumpkin Farm as it was not too far from where we live. Lots to offer there! We were impressed with no admission fee for all that was offered. We didn't realize all that they had to offer--we were just going for pumpkins quick but next year we may spend more time there. Pumpkins picked, option to pick your own pumpkins in the pumpkin patch, lots of family fun available maze, petting zoo, concession stand, great variety of pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, wheel borrows to use & so much more! We choose Swan's for it's convenient location near us in Racine. Overall, we had a great day. We got wristbands for $10 so we were able to do everything except the pony rides (which I believe were $5). We did the corn maze, the hayride, walked through the pumpkin patch, went to the petting "zoo" (was missing a few animals featured on the website!), and got doughnuts on our way out. All of the employees were friendly and helpful and seemed to love their jobs. I would love to go back to Swan's! read more

Awesome pumpkin farm! Did the pumpkin run/walk today with my niece. First time going to the farm. It was very organized and there was lots for the kids to do prior to the run. There was a haunted house, 4 wheel bikes, corn maze, hay ride, barrel train rides and tractor slides. The run is on the farm through the fields on dirt roads. Unfortunately it rained the previous evening so there were many muddy puddles to navigate around. It was a fun run with many spooktacular surprises throughout the run. Everyone gets a pumpkin and apple cider at the end of the race. You can also purchase the most amazing freshly made warm apple cider donuts! Lots of pumpkins to buy! I will definitely be back next year for the 5K run/walk!!! read more

Always a fun time at Swan's Pumpkin Farm. My three year old had a blast on the water boats, the huge tractor slides, the jumping pad, the hay rides, the pony rides and picking out pumpkins to carve. Terrible customer service Computers were down so they wouldn't let you pay cash or even go through the corn maze Wouldn't recommend

We drove from Muskego with a three year old that was excited to go through the maze, have fun in the hay and go on a hay ride. When we got there we were told that their computers weren't functioning so we couldn't do anything. The employee, probably the owner, asked what we wanted to do and I said "go through the maze". She said "oh no, I can't work the till, so you can't go through". I would have given her cash, so she would have been compensated but wasn't given the option. I took a disappointed 3 year old over to Apple Holler and he had an amazing time. There was so much more to offer too. I won't waste my time to go to Swan's. next time as it lacks customer service. read more

I have been going to Swan's since I was a kid and now this is the must go to destination every fall. The outside displays were a bit small this year. This year they had Frozen. In the past there have been pumpkin displays of Dispicable Me and other known characters. We loved feeding the goats this year. It looks like they have scaled back in their store. It was really empty. We found the winning pumpkins and gourds though and will be back next year. read more

Used to go to Swans when our kids were younger. Out of nostalgia we returned today to 4 times the amount of people, expensive pumpkins and a marathon getting out. It's not the quaint farm it used to be. Good for the business, just not cool like it once was. read more

I hate it that the first Yelp review that pops up on Maps says that the apple cider donuts "taste terrible"!! They are so good! I bought a dozen and a half today, and they are amazing. The kettle corn is also addicting! This pumpkin farm has been a wonderful tradition since my son was a toddler, and he is 21 now! To say my family was disappointed going here today is an understatement. I would like to start off by saying I grew up going here with my parents and have returned every year since having my oldest child. However, I will not return. As you can see yelp and google have it stated that they open at 9am. They in fact do NOT open at 9, but rather 10. However getting there at 9:30 everything indicates that they are open. (A person parking cars, people picking out pumpkins, no closed sign in sight, food and shops open). I get there my family picks out some pumpkins, buys food to feed the animals & buys some donuts. We then go to check out to find other families waiting to check out. A lady who I later find is Ms. Swan herself tells everyone they do not open until 10 in a very annoyed tone and that we cannot purchase our pumpkins until they open at 10. It is 9:50 at this point and as I stated above we could purchase everything else available. 10:05 comes around still no one there to check out these pumpkins, even though anywhere you look you find employees standing around just talking to each other, including Ms. Swan. Finally Ms. Swan comes back over to start checking out pumpkins. At this point my family had already put back our pumpkins to leave since clearly they didn't want our money or care about their customers. As we are leaving we let Ms. Swan know she should really change what time it says they open seeing as families are waiting in 45 degree weather to check out & everything else indicates they are open. Ms. Swan extremely rudely tells us that she doesn't want to pay to correct the time online (like that's my issue?) , that it was also an issue for them that all these customers were there early because of the wrong time stated online and that my family should of looked up the time on their website rather than google or yelp. In my time there I watched 3 families not including mine out their pumpkins back and walk out due to this issue. Certainly not worth going to be treated like a nuisance & to over pay for pumpkins. read more

We love this place! We go every year for the Watermelon Festival and to get our Pumpkins. They may not be as big as Jerry Smiths but their Pumpkins are much more affordable, they have a hay ride, corn maze, pony rides and more... they are also more family oriented, less commercial. I took my granddaughter to the pumpkin farm today. I figured a weekday would be better than a weekend during this time of year and I think I was right. Although when I pulled into the lot, there were over a dozen school buses lined up which meant many, many children. We were greeted warmly by women dressed as clowns. They were cheery and friendly and when I told them I was never there before, they were very helpful. The farm has an entire entertainment section with free puppet shows and a free petting zoo. There are other forms of entertainment where they charge a fee like a haunted house, a corn maze, and a hayride. We walked through the rows and rows of pumpkins, checked out the gourds, indian corn, and the general store. Food was also available but we didn't get any. The pumpkins were sold per pound and that made it a little difficult to know how much we were spending. Since I had no real concept of how much a pumpkin weighs, I asked one of the clerks to weigh a medium-sized one and found out it weighed 10 pounds. That sounds like a lot except at 26 cents that meant this good sized one was only $2.60. That is much cheaper than I've seen at the grocery store. So once I knew approximately how much a pumpkn was, I headed over to the wheelbarrows. They want to hold a driver's license to use their wheelbarrows but when I started to get mine out, the clerk said that the posted policy was only enforced on weekends when they are really busy. So we grabbed one and started to pick some out. When we checked out, we had 11 pumpkins. I extra large one, 3 large ones, 3 medium ones, and 4 smaller ones. The total bill was $24.21, an amazing value. I wish I had room for cornstalks and hay bales. I think I wil have to go back for more. This is a wonderful place to take children and a great deal. read more

We took our three year old daughter to Swan's and she had a blast. We arrived at bout 9:30 on a Saturday, and while there was already a crowed, it wasn't crowded (know what I mean.) Parking wasn't an issue when we got there. As we walked in, the place is full of stuff to do. We opted for the corn maze for the family. I was surprised at first they charged our daughter admission to the maze, but after walking through it the price made sense. The maze was appropriately sized for a three year old, but it appeared older kids were having fun as well. We had a blast watching our daughter walk in to dead ends and giggle. From the outside, the maze doesn't appear that large, but it is laid out well. There was other paid attractions as well, but this is the only one we tried. They sell wristbands for $9, which seemed reasonable to me for all there was available. There were also free attractions that seemed great for families that didn't want to spend lot of money. Swan's had two different ways to get your pumpkins. There is a HUGE variety of pumpkins available as you walk onto the grounds, and they are all over the place. The other option is to walk to the back of the farm (be prepared to carry the small kids and borrow a wheel barrel). The front of the patch was pretty picked over, but walk to the back and over the hill, and there is nothing but pumpkins as far as the eye can see. Priced at $1.25/pound I felt they were reasonably priced. My only slight issue is that the minimum price is $1.75, but you can't put small pumpkins all together. The price is so low, I guess I don't care that much. There is lots of food and beverages for sale, but we only tried the apple cider donuts. You see hot ones being freshly made, but ours were cold. Disappointing for my father in law, but I though they were fine. There were lots of people eating around us who seemed to be enjoying the food. There is plenty of seating under shelter. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't interact very much, but they seemed to be there to help. The last reason we came here was because they supplied the Bay View Neighborhood Association in Milwaukee with all the pumpkins for the annual Pumpkin Pavilion. I see this becoming an annual family tradition in October for our Jack O Lantern's and good family fall fun! read more

This year was our second year going to the Swan Pumpkin Farm. We are not yet married and have no kids but still love coming here. I much prefer buying my pumpkins at a pumpkin farm, its the kid in me, and Swan accommodates. With a huge selection of pumpkins, I can spend time finding just the right one. They also have gourds and Indian corn, and farm animals to boot. I picked up some pumpkin butter while i was there and, while its not made by the folks at Swan, its delish. If you do have kids they have feed for the turkeys and ducks, and they have crafts and a hay ride. One of the best parts is it is not that far from Milwaukee. I live in Bay View and its a relatively short drive, just one exit past Seven Mile Rd. When it comes to pumpkin farms I would recommend Swan to anyone I know read more

We had a great time at Swan Pumpkin Farm. There's no fee to enter, but if you want to participate in the activities you can buy individual tickets or a wristband. We went with the wristband for our preschooler and tickets for the hay ride for myself and my husband. There were tons of fall activities packed in to a rather small space, snacks and beverages to enjoy, and plenty of pumpkins of course. This is the family go to pumpkin farm every year. Yeah the prices are a bit higher then pick n save. But a lot can be said for going and picking out your own Pumpkin with a wheel barrel. Our family has been coming here for years. We choose to support the smaller family owned farms and have brought many of our family and friends. We planned our annual visit around our kids being off of school. I checked both their website and Facebook page and neither had any posts or announcements that their "adventure attractions" would all be closed. Only after we've arrived after driven nearly an hour with our children full of anticipation we were told that it's not operating today. I expressed our disappointment that we had come all this way without any notifications, but also that we understood why they had made that decision. I kindly inquired about a refund and the owner was not happy. She ended up offering half of what we had paid and 4 pumpkins. She was annoyed the entire time refunding half of the money and then said "that's it." I told her that I'm sorry that my family inconvenienced her by our annual visit. She replied in an snotty voice so sorry that we didn't post it. Then after our kids had Picked out their pumpkins and we're leaving she confronts us that our pumpkins are too large and that we need to get smaller ones. Her behavior was quite shocking and embarrassing for her. There was another family there who had witnessed her and they said it was sad for her to have behaved like that and she should've given you the pumpkins for free for our troubles. The lack of concern or care that she displayed for the fact that something so simple as communication could've saved our family disappointment and a lot of time. You can't teach people to be kind or considerate when they screw up. We didn't expect anything for free except for a little apology and consideration. We received neither. Sharing this experience, because it defines the intent of the owners to make money instead of take care of the families that choose to make memories. Some people have just lost their ways. read more

I brought my niece and nephew here over the weekend and I was really excited and surprised by the results. Pumpkins are 28 cents a pound (not a bad increase over the last two years from 25 cents a pound). Bring some quarters if you want to feed the goats and there are different breeds of goats in the front and the back of the pumpkin farm. We didn't try any of the rides, but there was one set price for the rides without children's prices, which is a bit crummy. The cider was really expensive from the cafe ($3.50 for a Styrofoam cup) versus a gallon of cider for $7.25. We went with the gallon since there were eight of us and we could each get a glass or two for much cheaper. I do recommend the apple cider doughnuts though. They make them fresh, which is great. Squash is 40 cents a pound, so we have dinner coming up soon! All in all, I would definitely take the kiddos back. read more

We went here on a field trip in the fall of 2016. While on our trip it rained and Swan assured our group that there would be fun activities planned rain or shine. We decided to take their word and trust that our students would still have a positive experience. Unfortunately, upon arrival it became apparent that Swan employees were unorganized and unprepared. Our students were put into a barn and our staff was told to stall the kids because the employees had another large group and did not know what to do with our group. Eventually we were guided to a puppet show (which was a taping of recorded robots) the kids became restless, and we were then told the company had nothing left for our group to do after and suggested we leave early. Our staff asked for a discounted rate and were rudely denied with the statement of "take the kids in the rain to see things" by an owner. I have been to many pumpkin farms over the years and if you are bringing a large group I would suggest visiting other farms. Swan was rude, unprepared, disorganized and this was not a good experience. read more
